Forgive me for this great big plug of a thread, but I thought this site was really cool.
Last.Fm is a site that, if you choose to, tracks your music and suggests other bands to you based on your tastes. Not only that, but you can share your tastes with friends and build radio stations of your favorite music.
My nick is soulexposed if you guys want to check out what I listen to, but there's not much up there for me yet because I only signed up a couple days ago. sweatdrop It's definitely worth at least checking out! 3nodding

I went on something like that a few weeks ago, pandora.com. They are pretty good. I ended up buying things by three of the bands that came up.
They're much better than real radio stations. No adverts and you can skip stuff you don't like 3nodding

I typed out one of my favourite bands and one of the choices was also my favourite. heart

Internet radio might be dead, but can I plug a site I found a while back called Progged Radio? I haven't been there in a long time, so I don't know if it's still up, but I found a bunch of cool bands there. Have any of you heard of a band called Madsword? I heard a couple tracks by them on that site and I was instantly hooked... but I can't find them anywhere. crying
