Personality: What is most unique about Yai is how laid-back he is. Rarely one to get upset or freak out, Yai is so casual in his everyday business that he often drops the first word of his sentences, typically when referring to himself.
Yai doesn't speak much, a result of a dislike of wasting effort. He'll usually suffice with a word or two, or just give a thumbs up when asked how he is or how he did.
Yai is also characteristically sleepy. He sleeps for many hours of the day, is hard to wake once asleep, and often falls asleep in the middle of the day should he sit down or wait too long.
While a very mellow individual, Yai is often at a loss of what to do when girls come onto him, or if he is forced into some other sexual situation. Technically a virgin via amnesia, Yai has had little luck with women. Even if he finds a girl, his wanderlust and duties as a Gourmet Reviver often force him to leave them.
Yai is a very polite and chivalrous guy, tending to treat women with the utmost respect, and is very kind to children and animals.

Background Information
Yai's past is completely unknown to him. He awoke in a flowery clearing of a forest with amnesia when he was just ten years old. He was found by the IGO's Gourmet Revivers, who took the boy in. Upon examining him, they found he had heterochromia: One eye a golden yellow, the other a deep blue. But they also found he had a third eye on his forehead, a red one. They could only assume the boy had been experimented on, or possibly injected with Gourmet Cells, but they couldn't be sure. A "Gourmet Doctor" within the Gourmet Revivers decided to take the boy in and raise him, as well as teach him the ways of both cooking and medicine.
Florence was a good mother to Yai, and taught him to respect the values of life and to be kind to children, animals, and women. Thanks to Florence's various medical and dietary techniques (and possibly due to the chance that Yai might've been injected with Gourmet Cells at some point during his mysterious past), Yai aged very slowly. It has now been 108 years since he awoke with amnesia, and he looks no older than 17.
Growing up, Yai found he had an affinity for raising animals with medicinal purposes. He even became quite an able beekeeper for a colony of Medicine Bees. Florence, however, was concerned. As she observed him, she noticed he ate very little. Sometimes all it could take was a single leaf of lettuce to keep him full for hours. A single plate of curry or fried rice and a glass of lemonade or a cup of hot tea could keep Yai full for days. It was very odd, indeed. His right, the Blue Eye of Hindsight, when uncovered, would see the past as ghostly images of what used to have been, apparitions of people living or dead acting out things they did before at that same spot.
