Kiyelt hiked up onto a small mountain, he was tracking a herd of aldabuck, Ruelash had one so..they couldn’t be that bad could they? Then again...Yelena had a Roati and it disliked him greatly and now that they thought about it Rue had a very determined personality. But still he would never know if he was compatible with them if he never tried right? He scraped at the trail. Aha! A track, perfectly formed and fresh.. oddly though it looked like it had gone down the trail instead of up. Now where could it be? He had just about straightened up to look around when something slammed into his but and pushed him up the trail a ways..on his face. Of all the indignant things! He scrambled for his whip and turned to see a chocolate brown and very grumpy looked aldabuck buck glaring at him.
“What are your girlfriends up there? You cheeky devil you, well for your information I would be better off battling them then a stringy old mean thing like you, your probably all gristle under that hide arn’t you?”
The aldabuck seemed to take offense and before Kiyelt could snake his whip out proper it clipped him in the chest. In hind site it was better when he got hit on the bum. He lay there flattened as the aldabuck casually walked over top of him and marched up the hill, tail held arrogantly in the air.
“It was nice meeting you too,” he whispered. That was it, no more goats or bucks or antelope type things. It was decided he was just not compatible with them at ALL.
Eventually he got enough breath back to limp back down the mountain. It took a while for the bruises to fade out.
