Grooving to the motion of the ocean! Username: ATh e a r t Numbers rolled: 5 (Floss), 10 (The Stream) Response: Heart stared at what she had in her hands. How in the world was she supposed to catch a Seathi with... floss? FLOSS of all things was all she had left. "Gladly... It's not a Mer or a Kelpi... At least..." She continued to look at the floss, thinking of how she was going to do this. The seathi was looking straight at her from upstream with what seemed like amusement in his eyes.
She wanted to let out a growl, but kept quiet as to not startle it. At least the location was a stream and not an ocean... or... Goodness only knows where Seathi play. Heart frowned until she accidentally got the floss knotted... That's it!
Working quickly but still quietly, Heart tied some more knots. And more knots... AND MORE KNOTS. Well, no... It really didn't last that long. The attempt at some sort of net ended up being a net... but not much of one. She ran out of floss before it became much, but at least she could try! That Seathi wasn't that big anyways!
The Seathi stallion kept looking at her, now laughing just a little bit at her handy work. Heart frowned again. "At least I'm trying!" She quietly but swiftly walked towards the stallion and held up her net. There wasn't a large chance of success, but she went for it and....!!!

Username: Nikkichomp Numbers rolled: 10, 7 Response: The clopping of her dainty hooves echoed in the cavern. The light was low and it was hard to discern exactly where she was when she stood still, but my presence made her nervous and she paced about nervously. I approach slowly, backing her into a cave with no exits other than the one I am standing in, and unleash a bag of marbles onto the floor. As she paces, she slips on a marble, and I dash in to tie a loose rope around her neck.

All da scales!
Username: Gene Wilder Numbers rolled: 6, 1 Response: The melodic, lilting tune of "Space Jam" screamed out of the ghetto blaster as Gene held it up to the water. Standing in a small canoe and armed with little more than the boombox and a basketball, he was sure this was bound to work.
Sure enough, the lovely stallion surfaced to see what all the commotion was about. Expecting to greet a chorus of singers and cheerleaders, he was instead greeted by a basketball hurled at his face.

Grooving to the motion of the ocean!
Username: Kyrieko Numbers rolled: 6 (basketball), 5 (mountain side) Response: Kyrie stared between the amused seathi, the strange pool nestled into the mountain side, hidden and almost pure in how few had ever discovered it. And the basketball she was lazily dribbling against the smoothed stone ground. Clearly, the seathi stallion didn't think he had any reason to worry. And who could blame him?! He rarely (if at all) got visitors up here! At least not of the two-legged variety.
Finally making up her mind, Kyrie threw the ball at the stallion. Only to have it knocked back towards her. She caught it - barely - and blinked stupidly at the seathi. He was laughing now, taunting with his tail. So she threw it again, trying to hit him in the head and knock him out. But again, he just batted it with his tail, like some game. Except Kyrie missed catching it, getting hit in the shoulder. Muttering a few curses, she walked (or stomped) over to the ball. And kicked it instead. A bleat of surprise was all the seathi male managed this time as the basketball flew swiftly at his head with a loud THUD.
"Ha! Can't laugh now, can you?" He was totally hers now!

All da scales! Username: Blue_Sparkle27 Numbers rolled: 10, 10 Response: With nothing but a bag of marbles to use to capture this stunning Kelpi Stallion near a stream. Sneaking behind tree to tree I try to keep from being seen or heard. Getting as close as I possibly can I wait for the right moment. So when he starts to drink form the stream I open the bag then I try to quietly roll all the marbles either in-front or around the Kelpi so he'd slip giving me the chance to race over to try catching him.
When he lifts his head to see what that notice was I rush at him startling him. Slipping on the marbles he trips over the marbles and flips onto his back into the stream. Rushing over I forget to look where I am going so I slip and slid on the marbles as well ending up in the stream right next to him. Laying there I just stare at the Kelpi unsure what to do now while he stares at me seeming to have the same problem.

All da scales!
Username: tefla Numbers rolled: 1 (Rope), 7 (The Caves) Response: Rope, how utterly quaint. I love the feel of the durable object as I pull a loop of it through my hands as I face the dark caves before me. My mind works quickly as I measure the length of rope. Finding it long enough I smile. It might just work out quite nicely. Hearing movement behind me I know that my target is ambling towards the caves. I knew that the whispers would lead him here. Quietly I slip into the darkness of the cave and trust that the stallion's curiosity will bring him to me.
My hands fashion a rough noose in the rope as I wait for my target. I believe that I can make this work. I've never tried roping a wild stallion before. Hooves striking rocks announces the presence of my target and I stand quietly and judge the distance to throw the rope. The rope whistles in the air as I swing it around me before tossing it towards the noises. An exclamation of surprise followed by a feeling of something tugging the rope from my hands brings a smile to my face. Slowly I pull myself closer using the rope and then run my hands over my "prize". The feel of the saddle on the stallion's back brings back memories. I make soothing noises as I run my hands over the stallion, "seeing" him in my mind as my eyes cannot see.

Username: Divena Numbers rolled: 7 (skittles), 4 (swamp) Response: I spread the skittles out on the leaves that I had gathered. The plan was simple. When the Kirin followed the trail of candy I left to her to this spot, she'd see what seemed like good, solid ground and a pile of skittles waiting. But when she stepped closer, she'd skin into the swamp and be unable to run.All I had to do was sit and wait... and try not to sink myself. sweatdrop

Username: Cajmera Numbers rolled: 10, 2 Response: The mare carefully picks her way around the base of the hill, ears perked and at attention. Her gaze is on the surrounding grasslands, not on the hill above.
Plink...plink...plink...
At first, it sounds like nothing. Just raindrops hitting leaves, or pebbles tumbling against one another. Nothing to worry about. Until the mare suddenly skids, her formerly sure footing compromised by...marbles???
Dozens of marbles roll down the hillside; she might be nimble, but there's no way she can avoid them all! And when she falls, I'll have her!

Username: Lady Argentum Draconis Numbers rolled: 10 and 10 Response:
I crept silently through the underbrush. My target not that far ahead. I darted ahead as quickly as possible and there I saw my opportunity. Everyone laughed when I picked marbles as my weapon of choice but I knew, oh I knew.
The stream was shallow and I quickly emptied the bag into the stream adding the round little balls to the already algae slicked rocks at the bottom and then disappeared into the brush.
My target approached, the lovely kirin mare, she didn't hesitate as she stepped into the shallow water, not even using her water walking abilities to cross the narrow waterway. Then it happened! She slipped on the marbles hidden in the water and into the stream she tumbled.
I jumped out and grabbed her drapery. Success~ She was mine now~!

Username:Rhyleigh Numbers rolled:6 (Basketball), 8 (The valley) Response:While wondering through a valley, when a came upon a Kirin mare. I checked to see if anyone happened to be around, that she might belong to, but she to be all alone. Now, I know that I couldn't just walk up and capture her. Therefore,I took out my trusty and most lucky basketball. The snuck up as close as possible and hurled said basketball straight at her head. Whilest the mare was stunned and ran up and grabbed hold of her lovely long mane.
