It had been a long time, hundreds of years, maybe more since Ten had met with her old friends, her first human, yet not so human friend when she came on this planet. They had kept in touch, only when needing each other’s assistance, which had not been in quite some time.
Ivy had been centuries old, Like Ten herself, and it was unknown as to who was older. Ivy and her son resided in the underground tunnels of the Zaibatsu, hidden, dark and deep beneath the earth. No one knew of them, and only Nine knew of them due to ten speaking of them in passing.
Ten sliped through a crack in the foundation of the street, dropping hundreds of feet into the ground. Landing, she walked through the dark dirty tunnels, with hanging lights above her and electrical wires tangled within one another, Ten made her way through the dark gloomy underground tunnel.
When she had finished her journey, she was invited into a large wide open space, which looked something between cross between a cave and a large throne room.
Ten’s blue eyes met with hers, her green crystal like eyes that shined in the light. Ivy was always a beautiful woman, who really made Ten feel like she had been over shines. Locks of silver hair and porcine skin that hadn’t seen the light in centuries, sitting before her, there she was, Ivy, the woman who couldn’t die either.
As Ten approached her she gave her a soft smile, she had been a sight for sore eyes. “Hello Ten—“ Smiled Ivy as she stood from her seat.
“How long has it been?” Ten chuckled as they became face to face with one another.
“Too long—Take a seat.” Spoke Ivy as she offered Ten a chair as she sat back down, Ten declined.
“I’m here to tell you, my husband has been captured. His powers are suppressed, and he cannot escape. Dameon aided in his capture.”
“Ah—“ Ivy nodded and tapped her foot against the ground. She had sent many people for many years to kill Dameon, and all were unsuccessful. They had fallen to the knees of Dameon, it was almost like suicide for them, though the bounty for Dameon was high for many years, everyone wanted to try and win the gold. Ivy knew that she herself, might have to step in now, she tried avoiding killing him on her own. She knew this day would come, that she would have to be face to face with her husband once again. Dameon had tried to find her for centuries, but Ivy was always one step ahead of him. She become known as the greatest bounty since Dameon Kuroshi had “Died.” Her legend, and his legend went on. “Wait some time, and I will make my move Ten.”
“Wait? WAIT! I just got my husband back after years of us being at each other’s throats, and one day later he is captures. My husband is captured, that is unheard of! Not only that, If he dies under Lucian’s reign, he is dead forever. He has no abilities he can use as of now. If you don’t start something now, I will!” Ten yelled at Ivy who shook her head at Ten’s temperament.
“You have always been an emotional woman, for someone who isn’t human, it seems to be a huge flaw for yourself. We need to wait. They expect us to retaliate right now, the longer we wait, the more off guard they will be. Patience is a virtue Ten.” Ivy stood up and walked to the opening of their underground room. “I haven’t seen the sunlight in—who knows how long. Is there still even a sun?”
Ten knew Ivy was right, but she hated knowing her husband was in danger, and her son was no option for help. All she could do was wait. She knew her husband had been drained, he needed rest, and it didn’t help that he had fought Gyouken, the Lucian, then Dameon and grim. She prayed he would be alright, they would have a plan, and a damn good one at that.

"Mother. Who is this fair maiden?" Eon said as he ran his hand through his long white hair. He had sheathed his large claymore sword and had taken to break away from his training for a short bit and rest.
"Are we going to face Dameon soon? I'm sure I could take him, especially if he just got done with a big fight." Eon grinned arrogantly as he gripped his sword eager to finally fight this infamous man his mother constantly referred to. The man who had killed his father.

Ten's eyes looked at the young man, who she had known as a small boy, but never as an adult.
Ivy turned to look at her son, Human at birth, and immortal by blood. "This is Ten. She is one of the numbered fighters." Ivy shook her heads to her son's question."We will not be attacking Dameon yet. We don’t even know if it was him— Do we now Ten?” Ivy turned back to the numbered female with a look of question upon her face.
“Nine and I know the land a hell of a lot better than most beings who live here, and surely better than you Ivy. Hell, you haven’t been above ground in how many years? We know the super powers of this land, good and evil, and most are dead but a few. There is no way, with the last few surviving among us, Dameon was not one of them.”
“I know the land damn well—“ Raising her voice with some frustration Ivy began to counteract Ten, but was quickly interrupted by her own ignorance.
“You don’t know! You had no idea the Zaibatsu is without a leader, did you not?” Ten sharply reacted to Ivy, who now remained silent and looked at her son.
“I did not—but, we cannot attack the new enemies so soon Ten, I know you want to with your harsh and erratic decision making skills, but they will only kill Nine faster.”
“Then what do you propose we do?” Ten argued, she was out of ideas, and she had no voice in the land after her actions the past few years.
“We find a leader for the Zaibatsu, round up the fighters left, train them and wait for war.“ Ivy noded as she thought deeply.
“Who is going to lead the Zaibatsu? The last living relative of Xenon and his wife has turned to Lucian. “
Ivy tapped her foot as she thought of someone they may know, someone powerful enough to protect the land, someone more powerful than most of their current fighters. She looked up at Ten for a moment and turned to her son Eon.

Eon's smirk fell as he heard his mother's choice. He wanted to fight. He needed to fight. He knew he could take on most warriors and come out on top with simple ease. He had been training since he could walk, watching as men and women left to face Dameon only to never return.
"Mother, would it not be wise to attack while they have yet to establish themselves. While they are still few in numbers? Surely we can take them. I could lead the assault with a handful of fighters and began a frontal assault while you and ten sneak in to free her husband!" Eon said as he tried to change his stubborn mothers mind. Of course he knew it was impossible. She had told him so and that the only man who could change her mind was dead. Killed at the hands of Dameon.
He glanced between the two women with a fire in his eyes when he heard the Zaibatsu required a leader.
"I could do it.' he said confidently. He wanted, no, needed this chance. To finally be in the open air and experience the world once again. He had snuck out many times before, but every time he would be caught on his return and locked down for several years. He knew however, that he would need his mother's council on many matters.

Ivy walked up to her son as he spoke. She grabbed his face in her hands and squeezed his cheeks between her fingers. "Oh no no no my love child, you do not attack the enemy right away, that's what they want you do to..Do you it when they least expect it." Ivy grinned as she released her son's face and gently tapped his cheek. "You can lead, I will be there to guide you." Ivy turned and looked at Ten. "Lead us out." She spoke, following her numbered friend to the Zaibatsu.

“We meet again—“ Ivy laid her eyes upon the man she had once loved, and still loved, and the revival of their love had become a secret to all who was left. They had come to one another every so often during the last five years to talk, to discuss lucian, for Dameon to still not budge in changing his mind, and she, she would go back into hiding until they met again.
“What’s your plan—are you still with him?”

"Do you really need to ask every time we meet?" Dameon said with an annoyed sigh as he came out of the shadows. "The man has gone insane, killing all who oppose him and I honestly enjoy the fighting that results. Then again I always did enjoy fighting even when I was human."
"As for my plan? You will have to wait and see. The less you or anyone else know about it the better." he said as he began removing his weapons and placing them upon the table. "But it's coming along nicely." he added as he placed his final dagger with his other weapons.
"So how has he progressed?" The cursed man asked as he walked over to on of the chairs present and sat down taking the glass of water that sat on the end table and downing it. "Assuming he survived me throwing him into Purgatory."

"Hardly---" Was he response regarding their Son. "He is made, spiteful. He hates me for lying to him all these years. He's unhappy with me, and then you throw him into purgatory, and not only is his mind an emotional roller coaster, his body is suffering as well. " Ivy sighed as she looked over at her husband, a man she hardly knew. Having him around seemed so familiar, yet, so different than before.
Turning to him, Ivy walked over to the chair he sat down in. "I don't know how long that water has been there--" Dameon really should have asked before allowing himself to drink something that wasn't his. "Does Lucian know you see me?" Ivy sat down beside Dameon, she wasn't going to entertain battle, not like she used too. This was now the number's fight, and she hoped the last living two would succeed.

"I'd rather the boy hate me and be strong enough to fend for himself than to like me and be the weakling he used to be." he looked at the now empty glass as his gaze grew distant.
"And Lucian doesn't care what I do as long as I don't betray him and so far I've kept my word. Meeting with you would not upset that balance. You don't plan on fighting in this war and though you favor the Zaibatsu you do not help them thus you are a moot point to him." Dameon said as set the glass down.
"But I have to wonder. We have been meeting for the past five years and not once have I been able to hold you close. You continue to keep your distance and remain wary of me..." he sighed as he looked to the woman he loved. He wanted to hold her, to embrace her, to have her.
"I told you before that I have abstained from pleasurable contact with women because of you. Though you laid with another man, I can not fully fault you for it." Dameon stood up and embraced the woman.
"I want you...No... I NEED you." he whispered as he pulled her close. "I want to remember. Help me remember." His voice grew raspy as he tugged at her armor's straps slowly loosening them.

"Dameon--" Ivy whispered as he embraced her suddenly. She sighed heavily as she let him hold her for those moments, and the straps of her armor becoming undone as they ht the floor, making a clanking sound on impact. "I can't-you know that--" Ivy laid her chin on his shoulder. "It's not right for us to do to ourselves, we'd be only hurting each other."

Dameon frowned at Ivy's reluctance. "How would we hurt ourselves?" his voice still a whisper as he ran his hand across her back. He did not push much further as nipped at her shoulder but ultimately he lowered his hands and began to undress the woman. He noticed she was not pulling away and continued until she was bare in his arms. "Help me remember you. Help me understand why you were my world, my everything. Help me remember what it's like to be cared about, to be loved. Or am I asking to much?" He let his hands roam her pale skin as he pulled his head away to look into Ivy's eyes and ran a hand through her white locks.

"I want to remind you--but we both know we cannot be together--You and Lucian" Ivy whispered against his lips and she leaned in closer to the man she had once loved. She shook her head. "I cannot accept what he has done and stay knowing you are apart of that, which would make me apart of that." Ivy reached up as she traced the buttons of his shirt with her finger tips. "And you know, I cannot be apart of it." Ivy looked back up to Dameon. "And for the record--I killed the human man I laid with, on accident." Ivy grinned as that wouldn't exactly help him remember. "Doesn't my sarcastic attitude, and stubbornness help you remember? Times where I didn't want to even look at you when you upset me--" Ivy leaned in to her fair haired husband and gently touched his lips with hers. "How could you forget?"
