Quest for an adoptable Name: Sawleah Stage: Prentice. I’m hoping to adopt this girl.Race: Pureblood leaf Gender: Girl 3 Base Traits: Sweet, persistent, positive. Personality: Sawleah is a nice sweet girl that can come off as a bit naïve at times. She likes to think that there has to be something good about ever situations. There are times she will sit there and mull over a situation from many angles until she finds a positive spin to put it in. She can also be very prescient in what she does find something that interests her. Though she doesn’t always win she tries to think of each loss as an opportunity to learn what went wrong and how to fix it. She even extends this to people and perhaps people most of all. It doesn’t matter who they are or where are from. It doesn’t even matter what they have done. There is always hope in who the other person can become. Description: What is in her official art.Clothing: What is in her official art. Accessories: What is in her official art. History: Sawleah grew up in Isd. Her family was good friends with BarAmal's meaning that Sawleah grew up knowing the young prentice. Still she was a few years younger and so she grew up watching everyone he did and had a bit of a crush on him, while he never seemed to notice she existed. When he had first left for he conflict to southern Tale she had wanted to follow but was told she was still to young. Instead she stayed home and helped with chores and tasks that appeared while the settlement was short a number of hands. She learned to fletch and began to develop an interest in the plants the healers used and how they were grown, cared for, and harvested. While she really wanted to go she did understand that by staying behind she could learn things like how to help wounded and then hone those skills. She was excited when BArAmal returned from his fighting unharmed. Though soon after he took off again which left her no time to talk to him as she had not wanted to interfere with his family time. When she found out BarAmal had left she sighed and shook here head. Well the good news was this gave her time learn more things and the. She would very impressive and have a few stories to tell him when she saw him again. Sadly that didn't happen quite like she wanted. She had been out harvesting with others when he had come through again and left right away for neued. So she has been keeping up her studies all the while but so far BarAmal has not come home from the fighting this time and Sawleah has decided she has had enough time waiting and is going to hunt him down and drag that boy back by his ears if that what it takes. She has a few stories to tell him and he certainly is going to listen.

Will she be BarAmal’s lover? Oh gosh I hope not. Self RP is a route of terror I only reserve for when I feel overly hyper or bored. More over she is really closer to wanting to be a best friend not a love interest. She knows their families are friends and wants him to be her good friend as well. If anything she will drag him around unnecessarily which leads to more contact with others in the hopes he becomes less of a sad sack.
What is she leaning toward for her future? Not certain, toward healer at the moment. She wants to do something with people though. She loves to be around others and likes to help so no matter what she does she has to find a way to help others with it. With additional information brought to light based on shop mechanics Sawleah might well be following her dreams and learning to become a cook or chief. She loves to make things taste good and likes to help others make feel better. she will still learn a bit of healing in case what she makes doesn't turn out to agree with a person, but unless she discovers being a healer is more useful to everyone through RP she will likely just do what makes her happiest.... Cooking! I leave the RP option open because she is the kind to set her dreams aside for the sake of others, but she'll never be a battle mage or weapon fighter of any kind.
She needs a hobby or something what does she even do? Well given the face that she is a prentice in a small village on the boarder of Sauti right now her daily life consists mainly of helping to gather supplies and daily chores while others have been off fighting. Given her family's closeness with BarAmal's she has also learned how to fletch arrows from BarAmal's mother, though Sawleah does not like archery. *she sucks at it which is why BarAmal never noticed her* She has tried her hand at making the actual shaft of the arrow, but well lets just say that's a solo journal all it's own and a reason why she should not be a weapon smith by herself. Instead she likes to think of ways she can better herself and be helpful which is why she has been learning plant lore and herbs so she could help with wounds.
Please PM me more questions to answer here I would really love it *nods*

Just a couple of questions at first :] You say that she's a positive person and there's always hope in who other people can become. What happens when she finds someone is actually worse than what they seem? Since she is persistent, is there ever a time when she ends up pushing her wants for them to be better on the other person? She seems a little bare bones right now, I know that she wants to impress BarAmal so she's tried to craft arrows, and she's slightly pulled towards healing, but is there anything else she is actually passionate about? She just seems like she's not overly committed to anything in particular at the moment.

was going to add such things to my question section but since questions were asked here I might as well respond here so the order can be followed easily
You say that she's a positive person and there's always hope in who other people can become. What happens when she finds someone is actually worse than what they seem?
This is the part that makes her seem like she can be naïve or just plain stupid. She has such hope for people that she might well end up following them around trying to find something good and or trying to help them see it in themselves. If they were actually a closet case murder or someone she would continue until she got hurt. The only way for her to give up would well be likely to end up seriously injured or one the verge of death, unless someone stopped her. In order to stop her they would have to give her a very compelling logical reason not to and even then she would not like it but might accept that she is not the one to help the other person. She will still carry hope that the one who was worse off than they seemed would still find help somewhere. Still that would involve outside interference. Hence why I tied her story to BarAmal who could step in and say ‘Stop this what you’re doing is stupid.’ I really doubt there is anyone that bad in the shop but having a safety net isn’t a bad thing.
Since she is persistent, is there ever a time when she ends up pushing her wants for them to be better on the other person? Look at the above example. I’d say that’s pretty pushy. Not always effective since let’s face it people don’t just change overnight. Still if she can point out some positive things for others and even crack a smile from then she’s happier. Like kid in a candy store happier she might even do a little dance if she thinks the smile is right from the heart or give them a bear hug. Then she let go and move on and not dog them down like the above example. And yes she will push this on others. Also why I tied her to BarAmal specifically. He hates obans. He is bitter and he is angry toward them. She would be the kind to point out that not all of them must be bad or the truce would be impossible. He assumes it will fail in a year, she assumes it’s a gateway to lasting peace and hope.
She seems a little bare bones right now, I know that she wants to impress BarAmal so she's tried to craft arrows, and she's slightly pulled towards healing, but is there anything else she is actually passionate about? She just seems like she's not overly committed to anything in particular at the moment.
Oh this is gonna sound stupid but it’s what her muse is. OTL forgive me. Due to the lack of having a farm option or a cheif option she would go with a healer due to the cross over with some plants. She does want to impress BarAmal which is why she learned to fletch arrows. This will never be something that she could be good at. The actual crafting of the arrow shaft left her with a lot of splinters and that was not something she wanted to do again. She likes to cook and make things taste good. Growing up in Tale she could easily make kinds of flat bread, this could be done by grinding up those sacks and pods that contain water *the ones found on the candy colored grasses that are themselves inedible.* The emptied pods once the water was emptied or drunk still have the nutrients in them so using them in the bread would make sense. *provided they could be ground up and dried fine enough that they basically act as flour would or added in addition to a wheat like plant *didn’t see one in the flora or fauna section but there is always hope but since the pods were a good and main source of nutrion I was thinking they could act as the flour if ground up on their own*. More over if she wanted to add flavor she could add in ground up nuts for a oakier or nuttier flavor or berries for a tart or sweet flavor. Lilies from Sauti would add a bitter under taste. Given Isd’s proximity to the Sauti boarder it would be probable to get some foods from there. Still the primary set I have in a word document is from Tale specifically. She could also make pastes from the nuts. these would keep longer than attempting jellies but those could be made as well for special occasion. *when I say jelly I don't mean like the store bought preserve like no one's business, Jelly in this case would be the fruit taken and boiled down mixed to flavor and then add a hint of milk or something if it was to thick and clumpy, mix until smooth and spread. it won't last as long but would make for a good treat* Also I wonder if some of the kinds of bark on some of the trees are edible in small quantities. *exists to make you all miserable with future questions apparently*
Now she sucks at archery which is one reason she thinks those who want to be hunters/archers are awesome *hence the like of the older BarAmal* This means he could hunt! *for those of you who really really love all the familiars and couldn’t imagine eating them please stop reading now, because if it was listed in the flora and fauna it’s been considered.….* I apologize now for how I think.
Kinfa (pl. Kinfa) – These might well taste like wild turkey so surprisingly, very tender white and dark meat if cooked right, but can turn tough or dry quickly if overdone at all. Cold slices or sandwiches common. Stews possible and would make the meat soak up some moisture… Salting for travel or storage would also be very common. Of course given the massive size a lot of it would be stored and could last for a long long time. Moreover it would be a hard hunt.
Gani (pl. Gani) – Cammel like creature.. this means theoretically milk-able, so yogurt or some cheese, but cheese yield in goats tend to be low so cheese sandwiches not really a main creation. The meat would be coarse beef like taste, the older the beast the tougher the meat but cook it long enough and it gets more and more tender. Mix the meat with others for varied flavors. Brisket, ribs and loin preferred, the humps would be fatty.
Witu (pl. Witu) – so like a wild dog or hyena? I’m just gonna say beef like. Still I don’t think it would be something hunted often since it’s a canine and more likely to attack and eat you…
Kuona (pl. Kuona) – …. I don’t know what these look like and can’t really picture one so it’s really hard to come up with a flavor.. round body mammals with scaly sections and water bulbs on it. Maybe a bit fatty in sections with rich flavors if you can catch them
Merik (pl. Meriks) – its nine inches long with a tail… if you where gonna eat this you would need a lot to make a meal. Eh squirrel taste most likely so kind of dry and a little tough. Really not worth the effort
Seriffin (pl. Seriffs) – see kinfa but more likely to be edible since they are smaller and not friendly so people wouldn’t feel as bad hunting them.
Virma (pl. Virma) –Finally a bug! I can say it tastes like a grub and be fine with it! MOHAHA! Oh um. Edible and harvested after the egg hatching when they are softest. Since the eggs are laid to the end of summer it gives a fairly good set up for harvest time in RPs.
Aldabuk (pl. Aldabuks) – right in the description savory meat. A good amount of oils in the meat likely and strong flavor. Could make a gyro out of it in theory.
Poscuta (pl. Poscutas) – mm might be hunted unless it was a pest to the leaf tribe given the common contact and they eat the crystallized grass. Since there was no good description of rat meat taste in wiki I’ll just use rabbit for it since both are highly active creatures .. though squirrel would work depending on the leanness of the poscuta.
Scorra (pl. Scorras) – a very lean meat but there is a lot there to get from if you could catch it. The oils would be very rich in flavor as well.

All of the above seem alright to me, though I want to point out something in case you just didn't know how broad the title was. The class Artisan Title allows a non-battle character to be pretty much whatever they would like, so if she wanted to be a farmer per say, that would fall under that class and her stage 4 title would be farmer, same for chef or gardener, herbalist, rancher, herder, etc. It can get as specific as you would like as long as it's believable on Tendaji. With that, you can keep her as a healer, or do whatever you would like :]

I starred at this comment for a full minute before the most interesting thing my brain could think was 'huh' >w< after that a whole cascade of thoughts came forward and not just for this character. Thank you so much for letting me know that <3 Right now I will leave healer on the table as a back up in case through RP she feels it's more useful but she is now much more inclined to follow doing what she likes to do~ *scurries to go edit some information above*
