Megrez had considered going shopping for her next space trip (that, coincidentally, happened to be tomorrow), but she had decided against it for the time being. It wasn't like she planned to spend a terribly long time there, or at least not more than most of a day. She wanted to see the fallout of what had happened on her previous space trip; surely, it wouldn't take much more than a few hours, would it? From there, she'd have to pour her energy into writing that song for the ritual. Hopefully she would be able to find that church-temple-building again...

Instead of doing anything particularly relevant, though, she was loitering around in a park. She wanted a little more time to think about what she had seen, and a walk disguised as a patrol seemed to be the best occasion to do that. There was a small aura nearby, however, and that distracted her. She had only seen one chibi senshi prior to this point, but the aura felt different enough that she could hazard a guess as to what kind of senshi that aura belonged to. "Hello? Who's out there? You can come out, I'm not scary..." The reassurances were just in case the chibi was shy, of course. Cruithne had left an impression on Megrez.

The little jab made Megrez giggle. "Well, I am the Senshi of Eggs. Chickens hatch from eggs. So it makes sense that there'd be feathers on my fuku, don't you think?" She paused and tugged at one of the feathers on her brooch. "Anyway, I'm Megrez. And you are? What were you doing out here? Just patrolling?" Though she probably shouldn't have done so unprompted, she offered up what she was doing. "As for me, I'm getting ready for my next trip to space. My homeworld. Well, mentally ready. I don't need to pack much, so there's not much to do on that front."

"I see! It's interesting to see how many kinds of fukus there are, isn't it? Some make the senshi's sphere really obvious, some don't." Megrez liked this girl already. She had a contagious energy to her, and when she got excited about space, Megrez felt her smile pull a little wider. "I think all senshi can go to space, grown up or not! How you do it is a bit different depending on what kind of senshi phone you have, but other than that, it should be the same for everyone." She called her phone to hand, showing that it was the newer touch-screen model. "On this phone, there's an icon you can touch that'll help you find your planet. Do you have this one or the old one?"

"I see, you've got the old one! If you want to get a new one like mine, look for a silver cat named Ash. She has a purple visor on and it makes her kind of hard to miss." Megrez pointed at the center button on Subra's phone. "What you do is you press and hold the center button, and you listen for... it's something described as 'the song of your world.' That's really the only way to describe it. You'll understand when you hear it." She removed her finger, then raised it in an explanatory gesture. "Focus on that song, and then after some blurry stuff, you'll be on your planet! And to go home, you do the same thing. Just don't do what I did and try to go back home to try and do it again so you end up in a different place. You'll end up starting a countdown in which you can't go back, and you'll screw yourself out of your planet visit."

Megrez pursed her lips, trying to call as many details as possible to the fore of her mind. "I've only been to a few places on my planet, but in general it seemed like it was kind of rural. The first thing I saw on my first visit was a windmill. I've seen a small village, a lakeside resort, and my capital city." There was a brief pause as she remembered something else. "Oh, right! I need to tell you about the visions. When you're on your homeworld, you might see visions of things happening. Those are visions of your past self. Senshi are reincarnated, you know? So when you see those visions, you're seeing you from a thousand years ago."

"Kind of?" The finer points of Buddhism kind of escaped Megrez's mind at this point. "Our souls go to some place called the Space Cauldron, and after a long time, they get shipped off to new bodies. That's how we ended up how we are." It might not have been the most accurate description, but it had to be close. "Yes, more like daydreams. I'd say it definitely is possible to trip and fall if you get distracted, so it's best to just stay still and watch and see what your past self was up to."

"You've got good coordination! That's a good sign," Megrez said, reflecting back the child's enthusiasm. Heck, she couldn't really walk and play her DS at the same time. She always ended up bumping into someone or dropping her stylus or some other goof. "Just watch and learn. I'm sure your past self will have a lot to tell you. I mean, they won't actually walk up to you and tell you things, but you have to learn from what you see."

"Yeah, that's one way to look at it!" A living documentary... that was pretty accurate, except there were no narrators or speculators, only visions. "You're welcome! How about we add each other to our phones, and you can text me when you get back from your first trip? I'd like to hear what your world is like." Megrez turned her phone's camera on and took a quick photo of Subra to register her in her phone. "Just take a picture of me, and I'll be registered."
