I feel so bad. T-T
My mom just got her surgery, but now, I don't want anything to do with her. Everytime I pass her room I get so angry at her even though she hasn't said anything.
Por que!

please forgive my ignorance, I'm fairly new, but what surgery? and why exactly are you upset about it? (doesn't have time at the moment to read the archives)

She had the lap band surgery already?
Hmm... maybe its some supressed fear that she'll get more on your case now that she went under surgery to lose weight? If you two had any discussions before her surgery, this could be the case.

I can see where you're coming from. It's hard to be the overweight kid with the skinny mom. When my mom first got the surgery I became very self-concious when we were at the store and such. I would see people staring at us, and I knew that they were thinking "Ewe. How did that girl get so fat when her mom's so skinny?" (This was before mimisi realized what a dolt she'd been xd ) You're just going to have to get over it. I know that probably sounds harsh, but that's really the only thing to do. You're mom obviously needed the surgery, because they don't allow it to be used for cosmetic purposes. It's not your fault if she's got a new attitude. It might be an annoying new attitude, but you're just going to have to accept and ignore it. 3nodding
