Rilind turned to face off against the second seraffin that was charging toward him, something that made him sigh a bit, "You know I only needed one of you." He muttered, mostly to himself. He supposed that, while one of the birds would be good then surely two of them would be even better, right? Everyone would be eating well for a while and it would have been because of him. It was something that actually made him happy because he wanted to be helpful. The idea of getting to actually do something as important as bring back food for Yaholo and the others, it was kind of exciting in a way. Giving a nod he drew his weapons again and prepared himself to battle against the second bird. As it got close he dodge out of the way, taking a swipe at it with his blades, then prepared again.
It seemed to be a bit of a dance of sorts, with the bird charging, Rilind dodging, and both of them taking shots at the other when they saw an opening. It was in the bird's final charge that it left itself really open and he went at the bird with both swords, slashing outwards with them, and easily beheaded it just as he'd done with the first of the birds. He looked down at it, over to the first one he'd taken down, then looked around the area to see if any of the other seraffin were going to show up to pick a fight with him. Much to his relief it seemed that the others had moved off during Ril's fight with the second one. Apparently it wasn't a fight they wanted to be a part of.
After watching the rest of the flock for a time, just to be certain, he then turned back to those he'd taken down, "Time for the fun part." He said to himself before he moved to clean the birds, something that would make keep the meat clean as well as make it easier to get back home with him.
