Hardcore Justice Results

It was a surely great PPV in Season 3's TNWF. It was a fair amount of buildup. Though we, as fans, could have done for more. It all was good but it seemed crammed or better say forced. TNWF is back however and it seems to not be missing a beat. With the exclusions of some talent. They make up for it with bright and familiar faces such as John Cena, CM Punk, and the "YES YES YES" man himself, Daniel Bryan. And exactly as those two are mentioned. These men all were in matches to qualify and they did putting themselves in a historical spot. And we'll come back to that soon enough. Onto the PPV.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman return

It's always great to hear Heyman on the microphone of course. As he and the man who broke the streak stormed down to the ring. In Brock's words, his ring as Paul boasted his client up. The crowd loving every second of it and me as well. But what we all weren't expecting was the man who'd come out. I, in mind did not have any real faith in TNWF. I would have thought Cena or someone of his caliber to come out. Lets face it, ever since beating Taker, we can't expect Brock to just wrestle anyone. And who other and better than Undertaker to come out, which he did. The crowd took to it with a ferocity seeing these two in the ring again as Paul quickly left being scared out of his mind. Leaving Brock and Taker to battle it out as Brock would have tried to go for the F-5 and be countered and clotheslined out of the ring by Taker. The segment was finished with some mediocre commentating, nothing too special as we were taken right into the Tag Team Championship match.

Tag Team Championship bout

Originally, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami, the match up would quickly be changed as Finn Balor was to be attacked backstage by none other than Randy Orton himself and inserting himself into the bout as Hideo waited for his partner and out came the Apex Predator himself. The bout was slow placed to be blunt. Pretty non interesting and lead me wanting to get to the better matches. But Hideo's performance made up for some of it. Along with Orton when he finally did get in. And then would be on the receiving end of a big chokeslam from Erick Rowan costing them two the match. It's weird management would go out of their way for Orton to take out new talent just to put over the Wyatts. Were they trying to save Finn the embarrassment? Who knows. Hopefully we'll get more on this situation on SNL or FNR.

7C Battle Royale

Hands down, the second best match of the night. Eight talented men. All in one ring fighting to be 7C Champion. And what a bout it had been. As Dean Ambrose took to showing off his unorthodox style and hammering down on his opponents but not far behind was former SHIELD mate Seth Rollins, who too was in the fray of chowing down on his opponents, mainly his other former SHIELD teammate in Roman Reigns. Bray Wyatt, we didn't see much of in the beginning. But we did see Omen who played his part as the big guy of the match. The Miz just as Bray did much hiding in the early and middle of the match but finally got much time in the end. All in all a great match for all involved. As it came down to the final three in the Miz, Roman Reigns, and Bray Wyatt. In which Roman hit both of them with a rib severing spear to win the 7C Championship. Congrats. And long live the Roman Empire.

CM Punk vs. John Cena, for the TNWF Undisputed Championship

As mentioned earlier, a handful of stars would compete for a spot to be in the main event of Hardcore Justice. As it was originally supposed to be John Cena vs. Punk vs. Bryan for the title. However Daniel would not show up for the PPV and miss his opportunity on becoming champion. As it stands for Punk and Cena, Daniel was made not to be missed as the two put on a stellar match up in the TLC bout. Using all at their disposal to the finish. It was possibly a match that would be mentioned for a slammy should it come the time.

All in all, this PPV was pretty good. Not the best, but wasn't terrible and had some quality matches. As for what I hope happens next is well if Cena and Punk's matches keep getting that good, more of those. And I'd like to see a Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt rematch. It was a awesome match and the two had great chemistry especially selling the ending of the bout. TNWF is doing well to have just come back and I'm ready for more. See you next time!
