He was sure he could find someone, especially one that had the same career. Unfortunately, he didn't know many others. His blindness often ead him to sticking to himself, unwilling to be distracted by loud gatherers that talked too much. He walked lightly along the ground himself, searching for something of interest. He often felt for such things - something particularly round or an interesting shape or smell.
It was harder than he hoped, being blind and within this job. It took a lot on concentration. He couldn't tell if what he picked up was a gem or metallic or a nice color - he had to go by other things.
Perhaps he should find someone to gather with today...
