The family restaurant Rei retired from the Court Guard to open, and raise his and Jasmine's children. He has poured his heart and soul into it over the last twenty odd years. His children all maintain part time positions as servers, busers, or even cooking staff. His Zanpakuto, Shingotsu, does as well, and plays the extra position of hostess.

Some people say you don't want to play with fire, because of how deadly it can be.
But when I play with it, it turns blue.
Oh, if you dare touch my family and love one's, you better run before I find
you, because I won't think twice of killing you on the spot.
At that moment before death,
you better pay to whatever god you believe in,
Because I'll be sending you to be Judged for your sins. ~~~
If you dare to touch my flames I'll make sure
They leave a nasty burn on you,
To remind you of how stupid you were to touch them.
And if you dare touch anyone in my family
I'll make sure you have the most painful death,
Because no one messes with us. ~~~
Jasmine was just walking around the kitchen just making sure everything was good along making a list to see what they need more for Rei goes shopping for the place.
Once done she place the note book beside the counter where it normally goes. As she started making her something small to eat. When she was done she went out to one of the tables not many people was here but she knew most of them as she say's hello to each one and ask how they were. Even if she is the Head Captain but that doesn't change her at all.
Soon Jasmine took her seat at one of the tables and pulled out some paper work as she started to work on it.
Hiragana just walk right into place and saw Jasmine. "Ah, there you. I thought you would be over at Squad one." He said, as he walk right pass her and went into the kitchen as he got something to drink as he made his way back over to her and stand right beside the table.
"Yeah, but it's such a lovely day. Plus I also had to do a few things here as well for Rei. Which by the way where the kids?" Jasmine said, as she kept doing her paper work.
"I believe they are still home getting ready to leave and head right over here." He said, as he look around the place.
"That's wonderful. Plus if your looking for Shingotsu she is somewhere around here and Rei is in the back." She said, as she close one of the paper books and pulled out another one. Today for some reason she had a lot of paper work. But that is the cost of being Head Captain.

The Restaurant Mascot  The ends have come and gone...
And yet we still remain. " Rei, I'm opening the doors!" Shin's voice rang out like a bell, and the man redoubled his efforts to fry as many of the daily special as he could before Shingotsu opened that door. It was Calamari, deep fried in ground Pretzel Panko Breading. He had been perfecting this recipe with his regular customers for months, asking them if they'd like a free sample of a new, prototype recipe, and that it was still hush hush. Now the day was here that he was unveiling the new dish, and people were lined up a block around the building. So he flipped, dipped, coated, egg battered, re coated and fried as many as he could physically handle with just two hands. Shingotsu, sure that Rei was not looking at the clock and didn't realize it was half an hour to opening time, was being his old, frantic, flustered self. So, with her joke playing itself out, Shingotsu walked over to Jasmine and sat in an open chair. " So what's your plan for the day, Jasmine? I know Rei will have his hands full, but what about you?" So we will stand as always,
And watch them rise again.

Jasmine saw as Shingotsu came over and sat at the table with her. "Ah you know. The same like always paper work but it seems today I don't have that much paper work until tomorrow and maybe have to go around checking on the other squads to see whats going on and whats new. But other than that, not much to do today so I'm happy 'bout that. And I was thinking to help around here today. Until something comes up. " Jasmine said, with a smile at Shingotsu.
"Oh, there is some cherries that have to be picked today and bring them here. Who you want to do that?" Hiragana said, as he walked over towards Shingotsu and give her a light kiss on her head.
"Maybe I could ask Sapphire and Isaac to go. Or all four of the kids." Jasmine said, as she looked in the back hoping to see Rei come out for a little.

And yet we still remain. Shingotsu sighed comically, letting her head fall as she shook it back and forth lightly. " Well, at least you get to come home and relax. Oh wait... if you're coming here, it'll be even MORE work! This place is not the Retirement I pictured when Rei said he was Retiring from the Gotei! I swear he had more free time in Squad Six! And so did I... I need a Vacation!" All the while, she was moving her hands frantically back and forth, and in odd directions to iterate her points. She didn't really feel this way, but she was bored, and she needed something to do. Griping at Jasmine seemed like something fun to pass the time until the Flood Gates opened, and the customers flew in. So we will stand as always,
And watch them rise again.

"Don't say it like that Shingotsu. You know I come here to help out when I get a chance too. And I come here everyday when it's closing time to help. And the kids help as well. Which by the way they should be getting here anytime now. If you want you can Hiragana can go pick the cherries now? Get you out of here if you wish. Plus I'm on the last page of my paper work." Jasmine said, as she kept on writing down stuff.
"I think that sounds nice. We get some time alone for awhile what you think? Care to come with me to pick some cherries?" Hiragana said, as he walks into the back and them comes back out with a couple baskets.
"And I'm done with the paper work. But knowing the Seireitei, I think I'll have some more when I get to Squad One. But as of right now I'm free from work." Jasmine said, as she got up and grab all the paper work putting it together. "Hiragana if you and Shingotsu are going to pick them can you drop these off for me in my office?" Jasmine said, as she kept the paper work on the edge of the table were they are and head into the back.
Before going into the kitchen Jasmine went to hang up her haori and put's on a dark blue cooking apron that she has here when she helps out. As she walks into the kitchen and stands behind Rei and gives his neck a little kiss. "Hey Hon, I'm helping out for a little since I don't have no paper work." She said, with a smile.

 Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoAnyone watching the front door would be surprised to see a black hole opening in front of the restaurant. Jisaku was the first to step through followed (presumably) by Captain Eko Tsurugi. He folded his arms and looked up at what Rei had accomplished in 20 years of retirement. "Now this is interesting."

As he neared the restaurant people moved out of his way, some just by looking at his angry scowl, others just by recognizing him as the Kenpachi. Yagari walked in, and as he did he noticed Squad 4 Captain Jisaku Morimoto and stopped for a brief second. Jisaku was one of the few people that didn't annoy him very much if at all. "Ah, Captain Morimoto... I see I wasn't the only one that was terribly bored today, what brings you out on this 'marvelous' day?"The sarcasm in his voice was plainly obvious, he hated how this day was going and was seriously longing for some excitement which is why he thought of coming here of all places. We'll see how it turns out for him and the people around him. And a ruler who hides behind paid executioners soon forgets what death is... ▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥▥

And yet we still remain. The blue haired spirit looked at and was listening to Jasmine and Hiragana, but the appearance of Jisaku (and Eko) distracted her greatly. She was about to welcome him (them), before Yagari simply walked in through the front door. The LOCKED front door. " Oh for the love of... Yagari-san! quit strong arming the door! It is getting expensive to replace! As it is, you owe us four hundred dollars in repair costs for the last one. And Jisaku, It's good to see you! It's been too long. Eko! Get through here and shut that creepy portal! You'll scare customers away." For the entirety of her unbroken rant, Shingotsu was making her way towards the doors with her palms out, showing the crowd that it was not quite opening time yet. She left the doors open though, allowing everyone to smell the aroma of fresh Calamari wafting from the Kitchen. Meanwhile, in said kitchen, Rei was still frantically breading and frying, and nearly hit Jasmine when he flipped a skewered squid over his shoulder at the trashcan behind him. It sailed right over her head though, and landed squarely in the bucket. It was only when Jasmine kissed him that he realized she was there, and he stopped for a moment to turn around and kiss her back. " Thanks honey. Start frying please, I'll take care of battering. So, what's the day look like for you? I'm gonna be busy here until about five. After that, I'm free though." So we will stand as always,
And watch them rise again.

Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoJisaku's eyes widened when Captain Shizuka just plowed through the door. Of course, mayhem like that was to be expected from the Captain of Squad 11. "At least wait for them to flip over the 'Closed' sign! And if you must know, Tsurugi-san brought me out here for lunch." Jisaku then stepped back when Shingotsu came out from the back and started ranting at Yagari and Eko for what felt like a good 60 seconds without even catching a breath. "Calm down. Calm down. Breathe."

Jasmine enjoyed the kiss Rei give her as they both started to work. "Oh just finish the rest of the paper work for now. Till I maybe get more later on, along hoping I don't get anymore. And really? That is great we can all hang out. You know how long it's been? " She said, as she started frying calamari. "Which by the way I sent Shingotsu and Hiragana to pick some cherries and bring them right here. So once the kids get here I'll send two your way. As for now I'm going to keep the front of the house busy for ya." She said, as she turn Rei's face and kiss him on the lips as she finish frying the calamari.
Hiragana look over at Jisaku as he step through the portal and same with Eko. But before he could have said anything Yagari came right through the door. Hiragana let out a little laugh, thinking to himself: life is never too slow around here. As he went to put Jasmine's paper work in the basket and stand behind Shingotsu. "So is that a yes that you would come with me? Come on, let's go. Jasmine will be out here to handle their orders in a second." Hiragana said.
Jasmine notice Jisaku and Eko along with Yagari. "Morning. Eko close that portal before I shove you back through. We don't need to scare anyone around here just yet. You gotta wait for Halloween to do that. Also Yagari, like Shingotsu said you gotta pay the repair bill before you order today. But welcome and please be seated is there anything I can get you all? " Jasmine said, as she lead the three guys to a table in the back with a plaque stating: "Captains Only".

The joking and sarcasm was great today with the Division Two Captain as he looked around at the group that was here. Division One...Eleven....a retiree..... Speaking of the retiree...
Rei's shadow crept up behind him and starting playing with his hair...
Smiling as he did this, he looked at Jisaku and shrugged. "I think I might even pay this time. Change it around..." He sat at the head of the table and whistled before yawning.

Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoTo Jisaku, the portal wasn't so much creepy as it was redundant. Plus, on the way there, Jisaku couldn't see a thing so he just had to trust Eko's judgment. However, he couldn't be mad when Jasmine showed up. "Good morning, Head Captain." Once they were led inside, Jisaku was greeted by the mouthwatering smell of fried squid. And what's more, they were led to a fancy looking "Captains Only" table. "Ooh, this is fancy. Can I have some green tea to start, please?"

And yet we still remain. Shingotsu looked over at Hiragana with a slight sense of confusion. " Didn't I already say yes? Well anyway, I'm here for another twenty minutes, or until the kids show up." She sat back down at a table near the entrance, looking at a clock up on the wall with utter disinterest. Rei smiled as Jasmine began helping, and nodded, as the only way he could devote his attention to a response, as she mentioned everyone getting together. He returned Jasmine's kiss as she left, and smiled to himself. It was a couple moments later, and Rei felt his hair being played with. He assumed Jasmine had come back in, and so paid the shadow no attention just yet, still thinking it was his wife. So we will stand as always,
And watch them rise again.

Yagari's forehead vein could be seen throbbing, but, it was true that he still owed the restaurant money from previous damage and although he was foul mouthed and ill mannered that didn't mean that he was one to skimp off on his debts so he started to pull out a wad of money which was obviously A LOT more than what he owed. "People, people, people... Why so much hostility? Here I was thinking that the ill mannered one was me but obviously I've been proven wrong. I just don't get along with closed doors, especially if I can already smell good food cooking."He replied the first half about the hostility with obvious sarcasm and then took a more serious tone for his remark about closed doors and good food. As he spoke he took out the wad of money completely and handed it to Shingotsu. "Here ya go, this should cover my previous damages and the door and I also took the liberty of throwing in some extra money for future damages, because well... Let's be honest here, having me around is a giant liability and even I know that so for future damages you now have a good fund to fix them and also whatever I get today can be subtracted from that. That sound good to you?"Yagari had a particular way of speaking to where you couldn't exactly tell if he was being serious or if he was just being a sarcastic p***k, he did however mean the whole thing about the money being used as a sort of "Captain Shizuka Reconstruction Fund" as for the rest of the people around he just merely looked around, he was a dodgy person and he was already in a fighting mood due to boredom so he was trying to distract himself from that by just looking around to see if something caught his eye..
