It was a nice evening to be working, even if it was away from home. Coffinite was watching for a target from a rooftop, settled to sit and observe for those he might drain without harming his karma - he was blessed yes, but one did not provoke deities - and the Lieutenant was settled comfortably watching for the proper type of person to rid himself of - transients mostly, along with others, and he stretched a set of arms when noone seemed to be looking. It was a lazy night to be sure, but a good one.

She had vague, strange memories of vague, strange dreams. And they made her frown and think and then get frustrated. Because they implied her choice was the wrong one. And it wasn't. She had made the right choice, had chosen to do the right thing by standing against the invaders who sought to hurt the world. By standing up and saying 'no', by taking the form and name of Sphalerite.
And so she threw herself back into her work with vigor. Because her uniform made the cooling days hard, she had made sure to wrap up in her favorite trenchcoat after she'd changed for the night. She found herself taking to the high ground, to best keep an eye out for terrorists, and blinked when she spotted someone else, someone that didn't look like one of them. And startled when her proved to have multiple arms. Curious, and a little wary, Sphalerite made her way over.
"Hello?"

Coffinite looked up when he sensed another Chaos aura and looked in the direction it came from, blinking before smiling slowly, grinning a pointed, toothy grin before a hand waved lazily. "Hello there." Oh yes, she looked small, and some of her posture reminded him of Cobaltite. Was she young too? Well that just wasn't right - involving the innocent. Regardless, if it was a choice they had reasons and he wouldn't argue. Everyone was sorted in the end. "I'm not intruding am I?"

"Not at all!" The way the other was dressed, and the color of the glow her comm crystal had, said he was on her side. But...he looked so odd. Like a youma, but not! It was weird...but she wasn't one to judge. Especially if he was on the same side as her!
"I was just looking for a good spot to keep an eye out for senshi. Or knights." She smiled and stopped near the other. "I hope I'm not intruding either! Or interrupting! I'm Lieutenant Sphalerite."

Coffinite's hasnds pulled her close promptly, the Lieutenant shaking his head. "No, not interrupting. I haven't seen either but I'm told they're dangerous." He said. "Best not try taking them alone." Coffinite frowned, glancing out again uncomfortably, frowning.

"Oh no! I'd be calling for help, of course! And anyone with wings on their butt is a 'run and live to defend another day'." Sphalerite nodded in a sagely manner. "I'm still low on the food chain, and still learning to fight, so...I don't want to take on more than I can chew. But...if I spot anyone in this area, I can start keeping track of who comes through here. Maybe start making notes on their movements."
The could easily be useful to other agents! Hmm...yes, she would start looking for patterns, and recording them when she saw them...She'd need a tablet....Welp. She knew what she was saving up for.

"Wings on their butt." Coffinite stopped and blinked, making a confused face as he tilted his head. "What does that mean?" Lieutenant or not, he didn't have much to go on.

Sphalerite stared a moment, surprised at his lack of knowledge before feeling a wave of annoyance at whoever had inducted him into the Negaverse. They'd obviously bungled their 'Negaverse 101'! She'd have to thank Buddy later for not bungling hers. She sighed.
"It means just what it says. The top level senshi all have white wings on the butt area of their outfits. They're not real, useable wings, but they're a good indicator of power. And you want to avoid them until you're much higher up. They can kick our butts to HQ and back!"

Coffinite made a face, before he shrugged two arms, another two crossing. "Wouldn't that be a point of weakness? Something to grab at any rate. Honestly, back in Seattle we didn't have these nuisances." The Lieutenant made a face, multiple eyes wrinkling all at once and he stuck his tongue out. Undignified, but he wasn't worrying about dignity. "And besides, they have no business wearing symbols of the divine if they attack us. We're not bad." Coffinite snorted, lip curling a bit. "I mean, really."

What was he on about? The tactical side, she could understand, and she filed that away for later use. But the other bits? Really?
"Wings aren't necessarily a symbol of anything divine. And even if they were, not all divinity is good." She really hoped she wasn't going to have to listen to a religious speal. She didn't mind religion, not in the least, but she was always made very, very uncomfortable when people tried shoving it in her face. And she didn't want that when the person next to her was on the same side. "As for nuisances? These nuisances are why I joined. To stop them. They're part of why we exist. Because they can't leave Earth to the people who belong on it. Still, if you encounter one with butt-wings, until you're stronger, run. Or get a lot of help."

Coffinite huffed, making a grouchy face. "Besides, if you want to get technical, they don't need wings to be pompous at all. At the very least they can think of something simpler. ?I say we send them to Japan. White is mourning there. They'd be laughed off the islands." And he nodded firmly, huffing. "I hope Karma bites them all."

"You'd be surprised what the majority would pull from the sight of wings." This guy sounded like he'd be perfectly at home on Tumblr. "You're also entirely missing my point, dude. I'm trying to warn you about a serious threat passed to me by superiors." Not knowing could cause serious issues.

Sphalerite blinked, then had to resist the urge to just...bite his nose. He was being an a*****e about things, geez! "Dude, I am a shitty liar. And if you want, I can direct you to a superior officer, since you obviously need to talk with one badly." So badly. "Because we are in a war, and you seem to be missing vital, need to know information."

Coffinite narrowed his eyes and leaned in closely, before sneering, teeth, sharp, and pointed, slightly bared as he scowled. "I'll have you know I'm from the Seattle branch, and you are no higher rank than I. When I am desired a superiour will find me. They always do." He snorted, and stepped back, glaring at Sphalerite sharply. "But I don't expect a child to understand that." Oh, he figured she was a teen, but she acted so- immature, and he didn't think a barb would hurt that much in the grand scheme. Little brat.
