What weapons? try to go camping without a knife see how hard your life is Need to prepare a fish to eat can't Need to prepare any food nope get a fire going? Nope ya a knife isn't a weapon to me it's like a hammer It can be used as a weapon but it's use is infinite

Are they expensive? :3 depends the Leatherman juice is like 33 or something dollars on ebay I think it runs up to 50, to me it's the most useful, and it dosent look tactical or anything. mines is blue and it came with a leather clip case.

Nope ya a knife isn't a weapon to me it's like a hammer It can be used as a weapon but it's use is infinite Well, I leave all that to my boyfriend, hehe. My mom is hardcore when she goes camping, she brings knives, an axe, and a bow just in case. O.O I gather wood that's laying around. xD And I bring so much food I wouldn't need to fish. I'm a vegetarian now (again), so wouldn't be eating fish. I should get a book that shows what wild plants are safe to eat.. Every time I've went camping I bring so much crap. But I want to try to manage with like bare minimal stuff someday. I got into thinking that would be awesome by watching "Survivor Man". I can't wait for winter to end so I can camp again. I'm just not into freezing my butt off, haha.
