Aurora was wandering around the border of Nightmare and Dream. It had been a while since she had been out by herself. She was wondering what type of creatures existed in Nightmare. Perhaps some were pretty powerful and she could meet them to learn some more potent magic, although it was highly unlikely she could learn anymore than she had. Most of her time was spent with her teacher Azalie. Even though she was a hippogryph, that pony had taught her a lot about magic, even for someone who was not a hippogryph.
Aurora made it to the border staring into Nightmare Valley. What adventures would behold her? Only time could tell. Whatever happened it was definitely going to be interesting, or for her at least. Not much phased her either.(Sorry if that sounds corny. I'm half sleepy, but thought I would start this at least)

 Shayde felt himself be summoned. Someone crossed into Nightmare Valley from Dream Valley, someone with potent magic. Good mages were often meddlesome. Shayde's master commanded him to investigate the newcomer.
Paran suddenly felt something close over his eyes. He began to run, but before the message got through to his legs, something else stopped them.
Shayde felt himself gain control of Paran and walked him towards the disturbance. A wonderfully colourful pony stood in the grim, desolate landscape. She bore the mark of the Goblin King- but it could be a coincidence. Crystals were common these days... But if she was truly of his ilk, then she could be a harbinger of much trouble to come.

Aurora was looking around the area when she saw a rainbow unicorn walking towards her. He looked rather interesting. Perhaps he knew what this area was like. "Oh hello there! I'm Aurora! I was just investigating this place since I've never been here before." She cocked her head to the side. "If you don't mind me asking, who are you?"
She was normally the blunt one of the bunch. Her teacher had told her to quit being so nosy most of the time, but as years show, it did almost nothing to help except just pique her curiosity of almost everything. "Do you like magic? It's fun to cast spells."
(I think I might of made her too similar to Bree. Although Aurora can be a bit darker than her not caring if she has to resort to violence if need be. >.>)

"I'm Shayde,' said Shayde is a deep, rasping, guttural voice. His voice did not match the tie-died pony he was wearing, but he couldn't help that.
"I like magic," he said simply. "I can't do it, though. What magic can you do?"
((That's the way Shayde talks, really simple sentences, sorry if i'm making it too juvenile, but it's like every sentence has to kind of well up from the faroff place where his brain is.))

"Well it's nice to meet you Shayde." Aurora wasn't one to spook easily and even so, if she was in the face of danger, she could easily use some minor magic to get out if it was really dangerous. "Really? I tend to like illusion magic. I also learned a small bit of healing magic from a hippogryph, but nothing too far advanced such as raising the dead or something along that line." She paused for a sec with a big smile. "Although I wouldn't mind learning that ability, but then again it might not be the best either." She cocked her head to the side. "Do you have any talents or abilities?"
((It's fine. Simple is sometimes better anyways.))

"Necromancy," grunted Shayde. "The necromancers here are going to the Magic Guild."
He wondered if he should tell this girl his ability, but then his task had been to simply report back on whom she was, not to do anything to her, or harm her. "I possess others. I wear them." He reached up to pat the chest of the pony he was wearing.

Aurora nodded her head. "Oh yes! Necromancy! That's the word. I was never good at learning the right names for certain studies or spells. I guess that's why my teacher would tend to hold me back often."
She watched as Shayde described himself. "Oh I see. So you can possess anyone. So is this pony being possessed then?"

Shayde grunted and nodded. "The light," he said gruffly, "the sun hurts my body."
"Teacher sounds like they care," Shayde muttered. He didn't think they would bother if they didn't want Aurora to do well.

Aurora looked surprised for a second. "Oh then that means my abilities might pose a threat to you. I wouldn't use them unless if someone was attacking me for no reason. Of that I can assure you." She sighed a bit before continuing her little chat. "She does care, but sometimes she seems a bit lonely or lost in something. She never tells me about her life so I can only assume things." She shrugged. "I guess it's no business of mine to pry." She paused for a moment. "So are there others like you or is it just you who's like this?"

Aurora was trying to understand everything. "Okie dokie. So do you have a family then for that matter or a group of people that you have a loyalty to?" She lightly smiled. He definitely didn't seem to be an evil type.

Shayde blinked. This was not where he wanted the conversation to go. This girl should not be trying to pump him for information, he should be asking her things. But what things? He didn't know. He had to distract her.
He patted his chest. "This body is boring. Want to come with me to find a better one?"

Aurora cocked her head to the side. It was obvious he didn't want her to know about who his family was or if he had someone he was loyal to. For the moment she decided to let it drop since she didn't want to be too nosy. "Alright, if you say so. Do you have any preferences like one with wings or one that can hold their breath underwater?"

Shayde felt something with his undead senses. Someone was near.
It was Tillian. Still nursing his broken pride, he was wandering the boundaries between Nightmare and Dream Valley. He had noticed Aurora, which was easy considering her bright colouring and was heading their way. Shayde did not intend to let him get that far.
Instead of answering Aurora's question, he released his hold on Paran and quested out for Tillian. He was easy, his heart was black and full of greed.
Paran flinched and coughed like he was sick."Where am I?" he asked. "How did I get here? Who are you?" he asked Aurora. Then, he decided he didn't care. Losing his head completely, Paran fled down the hillside towards home.
Shayde, now in control of Tillian, skidded down the side of the mountain to land in front of Aurora. "Skittish thing," he grunted in Paran's direction.

Aurora was going to say something until Paran started acting strange. She figured whoever it was had released his hold on him and watched as the unicorn ran off. "Wow..." She then turned her head as she noticed a Kirin coming over. "He sure is..." She was completely unaware of what had exactly happened and staid quiet for a while before realizing that the voice sounded familiar. "Wait a sec. Is that you still," She said to the kirin.
(Wow...this is pretty interesting and funny with Paran. XD)
