Neska was in a much better mood today; Vollerei had come home! Her momma had not died! Neska wanted to cook a delicious meal for her adopted mother.. But that would require supplies! She stared at the emptied kitchen of Vollerei's home adn sighed. Since Volle had been gone for a while, the kitchen had not been restocked... I shall go out and do so myself! Neska thought with a determined nod before grabbing her doll and trotting off towards the jungles about the city. How she was going to hunt anything was unknown to her, but she was going to try! Of course she could have asked Volleri's mothers or sister... but Neska wanted to do this on her own! Lavender Hues Just poking you so you have this in your notifications for easy reference if you get the time!

To say that Zahra was bored was an understatement. They were waiting on their mother, who went out to chat with another sister, leaving them to wait for her return. The problem being that they had no one to play with. No Uncle to climb all over, no cousins to tease, it was just all together boring! For the moment the only thing that Zahra could figure out to do to amuse herself was to hang upside out down from a high branch of a tree so that she could observe her passing sisters from up high and from a new angle. It helped to a degree since watching people mill about upside down as at least amusing. Her kinked antennae gave a little twitch before she turned her dark eyes toward her sister and said, "Booooring, huh? How much trouble do you think we might get into if we went and climb up into Aisha's branches?" She asked of Joweese, debating over if the reward of being able to be near to Aisha would be worth being ground for... well, probably forever. Tempting, at least it would be interesting, "Can you imagine the looks on their faces? I bet they would turn an interesting shade of green and choke if they saw us up there." It was a thought that had her chuckling before she set to looking around again. Tempting, so very tempting, and she doubted that their great mother tree would care as much as some of the sisters might of that she'd bet both her antennae. "Any ideas what to do? I am so bored Jo-jo!" She said, setting herself to swinging on the branch, making things that much funner by making the branch she was hanging on shake... that was until she spotted what looked like another sister their age, "Ah! What have we here?" She mused to herself, looking quite interested now, "Look, look Jowe-Jo! Should we follow after her?"

Joweese fiddled with her dreads as her sister spoke, her tiny fingers looping around the tiny braids her mother had made that morning, and made a pensive face. Climbing Aisha's branches sounded fun, even with the prospect of being banned for life on the line, but the question of how they would travel across the water alone was a big problem in that plan. She was sure they could cross if they traveled on each other's shoulders... But wouldn't one of them drown?
"I think we'd need a boat if we wanted to go see Aisha, Za-Za. But we could look for one later!" She chirped, a grin stretching across her features. "Maybe Aisha has fruit at the top of her branches that's just for Eshe!"
She slinked herself along a lower branch as Zahra swung and blinked when she mentioned another Sister in the area. Who was she? Her cheeks rose to compliment her grin.
"Yeah! Let's follow her!" She agreed wiggling off the branch. "Maybe she knows where we can get a boat!"

Orpheus Solon Would you two be up for (later in the RP) helping Neska find Mimi I tend to like them gaining the familiar IC-ly somehow~ Potsuca are from Tale so Mimi will be a run away pet. Neska, unaware of the twins eyeing her from above, trotted off into the jungle. A small bag for holding things bounced along her back; she was going to fill it all up! With... stuff. Food. Tasty things! "Gotta find some veggies... Maybe get those first then go hunting." She muttered to herself as she looked at the plants all around. Tubers were good eating, and Vollerei did love to eat stews! But.. how to find them? Neska peeked under leaves, around trees, looking for these tubers. What did they look like in the wild? She looked around and her lower lip trembled slightly; she didn't know how to gather food!

robot kitten I don't mind the trio hunting down Mimi! Maybe it will distract them from their terrible plot to climb Aisha! ROFL A boat, huh? Well, they would just have to keep a look out for one of these boast then she decided before she dropped down to the branch just below where she was hanging, shifting herself so that she was sitting on, feet swinging, as she watched the other girl that was still on the ground. After a moment of watching she made her way down to the ground, dusting off the simple shorts and wrap top she was wearing. Once that was done she looked to her sister and said, "She's up to something, right? I mean just look at the way she is looking around, think she is looking for some sort of treasure?" The other girl was looking under what felt like every leaf in the area, as well as carrying a bag with her, she meant to find something important, huh? Zahra needed to know what it was, it was of vast importance! At least to her, she had to know what the other little sister was hunting or else she would find it hard to think of anything else. "Come on then Jowe-Jo, let's see what she's up to!" She said, hurrying forward, doing her best to hop over anything that she felt might make too much noise as she approached. No stepping on sticks, no leaves, no tripping on rocks. She had to be stealthy if she wanted to catch up with their suspicious sister and figure out what it was that she was up to. Zahra was certain that it was something interesting, it just had to be! As she got closer her antennae set to twitching, the pair a little out of sync with each other, and she got a bit smile on her face as she heard the other girl talking to herself. Well now, that would make things easier now, wouldn't it? Of course as they got close enough to hear what she was saying Zahra looked visibly disappointed, "What? Vegetables? Blech! For the love of Aisha, I thought you were treasure hunting or something." She said, resting her hands on her hips a bit of a pout appearing on her lips.

"I'm right behind you, Za-Za!" Joweese called, making sure her steps matched Zahra's as she wandered behind her. This new girl looked a little lost in her opinion, maybe she was looking for her mother? Joweese tilted her head as her sister paused and stood a little to the side, her antennae twitching in two directions. Hmm, the shoreline wasn't too far away, apparently, according to her left antennae...
Suddenly, Zahra spoke and jarred her away from her thoughts. Vegetables? This girl was looking for vegetables? She pursed her lips and leaned forward.
"You want vegetables?" She said, blinking at Neska. "... Maybe there are some by the beach."

Neska wrinkled her nose at the two interrupters. "Food is treasure!" Volle said that all the time! "Much better as it can be eaten and help you rather than be uselessly pretty."
Why would she be hunting treasure out here? This was right by the village! Any treasure that was out here would have been taken by the adults by now, she thought to herself. Looking at Joweese she gave a small smile. "You think the beach will have food? I'm gonna gather food and cook it for my momma!" This one probably has more brains than the one who wants treasure...

Zahra cocked her head to one side, her antennae twitching a bit out of sync with one another as she considered the other girl's words... before giving a bit of a laugh, "Food is treasure? I don't see how... well, clams I guess hold treasure, but vegetables? I don't know if I believe that they are. Especially the ones that taste like feet." She said, resting her hands on her hips, giving the new girl a look that said she clearly didn't buy the veggies were treasure thing. Still, food was tasty if it were the right food at least. Fruit, fish, meat, sweets, those sorts of things she was a fan of and could get behind hunting for. Turning her sister she gave a laugh, "Vegetables on the beach? I don't know... seaweed isn't a vegetable is it?" She tapped a thoughtful finger against her chin as if trying to figure it out. Shaking her head she decided that it couldn't be. Seaweed was all weird and slimy, surely that wasn't a treasure to anyone at all. Smiling she said, "I think that there are places to get food food though! I know that lots of tasty things get trapped in these things called 'tide pools' so we just need to find that!" She nodded her head sagely, as though it were the best plan ever to exist in the history of plans! How could it not be though, she'd come up with it!

Joweese's mouth spread into a grin. Yes, the beach would have plenty of food, as long as this girl believed there would be. She actually didn't know or really care if there was any food by the beach, honestly. She wanted to get a boat, go across the isles, and climb on Mother Aisha. If there was any food involved along the way, so be it, but the Jow-Jow's main goal was seeing how much trouble she could get into for climbing Mother's branches.
"Yes, I saw some earlier with my mommy today!" She chirped, giving her twin a sly smile. "And there are lots of fish! Lots and lots of fish! We'd just need a boat and a way to catch them and you're all set!"
She eyed her twin again, her smile becoming more devious.
"I heard seaweed tastes good!" She laughed. "I dare you two to eat some when we get to the beach!"

Fish sounded good! Momma and Zweil liked that! But how to get them? She didn't have a line or spear... She frowned at the boat part. "Um... boat? On the ocean? Why not.. a pond? That's safer. And... I don't have a boat." Plus oceans were dangerous! And what if the boat tipped? Or the ocean took them away? Momma had mentioned that she'd been blown out to sea and to Jauhur by a storm! What if that happened? She'd never see momma again! Seaweed actually tasted good as a wrapping for food when you cooked it! She liked it! "Mm.. Seaweed is tasty when cooked. Raw not too good. I can get that without going out into ocean." She nodded at this plan. Yes! Visit the ocean, get clams and any crustaceans she could find plus seaweed! She could do it!

"Fish is pretty good." Zahra said, her antennae twitching out of sync with one another as she thought about it, then gave a laugh, "I bet if we teamed up with could catch a fish bigger then we are! Can you imagine the look on our sister's faces if we brought a monster fish home? Heh, that would be great!" Not to mention their mother would probably have a fit trying to figure out how they got something like that, where, and when. The two of them were masters of getting into trouble after all. Glancing over at Joweese she locked eyes with her a moment, then gave a grin, turning back to their new friend, "So yeah, we just need to find a boat and BAM! We have access to all of the good stuff ever. You know what else would be good? Shellfish! Their jerks with their pinchy claws but they taste good!" She forgot for a moment about the plot to get to Aisha when she found herself thinking instead about what they might find on and around the beach, things that they could catch, cook up, and eat. It would be great! The only thing that would make up for if they couldn't get to the Chibale Isles. "Ew... eat seaweed? Oh man, you're so gross, Joweeeeee! That stuff is so slimy! Might as well just lick a Spitorog... hehe, I dare either of you to do that if we find one!" She said, giggling at the idea as well as wrinkling her nose at it. Eeeeww... frog licking, so gross! She'd do that the same time she ate seaweed they scraped up off the sand. Turning to look over at their new friend she gave her a skeptical look, "Good it, huh? Can you cook the slimy feel out of it? I wonder if it might be good if it was cooked with some salt and other stuff to mask its flavor... what do you think, Jo-Jo? Ah! And you, sister, you go a name? If we are traveling together we can't just call you 'hey you' all day."

Joweese gave Neska a dumbfounded look, before nodding along with her. Wow, seaweed actually tasted good? She didn't know it could be cooked! It made her almost want to run and find her mother to ask her if she wouldn't mind cooking some for them... The youngling made a slightly sour face. Naaah, mom was busy and they had a Great Mother to climb!
"I agree, let's go catch some fish!" She chirped. "But, only a monster fish the size of our uncle will do! Anything smaller will be too hard to catch!"
Then, she made a face at the notion of frog licking. EWWWW, NOOO. Spitorogs were so nasty! She'd never, ever, lick one! She folded her arms and shook her head.
"Yuck! No frog licking for me, thanks!" She said, pursing her lips and looking to Neska again. "Yeeaaah, what is your name? Where are you from?"

Neska looked down her tiny button nose at the other two; "It is good, Momma makes it for me! Wraps up veggies and fish and sometimes Maglardilla in it!" She kept to herself that she had once had much the same thoughts.... but living with Vollerei had expanded her food horizons immensely! Everything could and was food now... Except spitrogs! Those were gross. "I'll keep the sea weed.. you can have the spitrogs!" Neska said with a giggle. "I'm Neska! I live in a small house just outside of Amara. You have fun names... Did your mommas really call you Jojo and Zowee?" They were cute and quick and fun! I will let them go fishing and stick to safer things, she thought to herself when they mentioned an... uncle.... "What's an uncle? Is that a person?"

Zahra bounced in place on her toes, thinking about that, "Monster fish, huh? That would be great! We could show it off to Sammy and KenKen! I bet they would be so jealous if we brought home a monster fish all on our own! Well... with Nessie's help, of course!" It wouldn't be completely on their own but still it would be quite impressive if they could get a monster fish! She was all for it, especially knowing it would be cooked up and made delicious! Something that almost made her drool just thinking about it. Shaking her head she set to laughing when both her twin and their new friend bowed out of licking a spitorog, "Alright, alright. I didn't think either of you would. Not like anyone really would unless they were really stupid." She said, unable to help but to giggle over the idea of someone being silly enough to actually lick one of those dumb frogs. Giggling more she said, "Given how dumb they are I bet anyone who licked one would catch that, huh?" "Hm? Ahahahah... no, no. Jojo and Zowee, those are just nicknames! I like giving out lots of nicknames to those that I like, Nessie-Nes!" She said, giving her new friend a bright smile before she tilted her head, "What? What is an uncle? That's what Yaholo is! He's Momma's brother, so our uncle, of course!" She said, nodding sagely.

Joweese mirrored Zahra's bouncing and nodded eagerly along with her. Showing the monster fish to their cousins would make them super jealous, it would be better than all the pranks they pulled on them combined! Also, imagining all the yummy foods their mother could make for them with it was almost too much for her to bear! She paused, reconsidering her objective to climb Mother Aisha, and decided that catching a monster fish would be the new objective of today's adventure! She nodded to herself and grinned.
"Yeah, our nicknames! I'm Joweese and that's Zahra!" She chimed, pointing to Zahra as she spoke. "You don't know what an uncle is? An uncle is like an aunt only they're a boy-" She paused as Zahra explained and nodded. "Yep! Out mama's big brother! He's the strongest Brute in all of Jauhar!"
