Colour:
Want to change a colour on a post? Simple! hello Where the (...) is, put a colour so that it becomes for example: hello Inbetween the given code, where I have put hello, you could put any text.
HOWEVER! say you wanted dark blue, you would not put that space inbetween the shade and colour. observe: hello Not all colours work, so if you wonder why it's not showing up in a colour, it's simply because it hasn't been registered as one of the colours. The following colours can be used though:
silver red green darkblue yellow cyan pink gold olive violet indigo darkred
there are many more to discover too! have any questions, feel free to pm me, or quote this post!

Italics
See the title? Ever wondered how to turn your text into italics? I forgot to mention this in the above too, but by highlighting the text with your mouse that you want in italics, or colour or anything else for that matter, here on Gaia, you can click the button in the grey box that looks similar to the ones found in microsoft software like publisher and word, it will automatically put the code in for you on either side of the text.
However: if you want to be a whizz kid, or show off to your friends your skills, this is another code worth learning.
-to get italics, use these neat symbols. Observe: hello see? place the i in square brackets [] -like these, in front if the text, and then after the text do the same, but put a / before the i at the end of the text to get that text into italics.
Neat or what. you can use this post to try out some examples of you are struggling to understand.

Aligning text.
Look at the title. See how it is in the center? If you want it to be in the center, the code is Place your text in between the square brackets. Observe:
So kawii!
Want it to be at the other side of the screen? SIMPLEZ! Simply change the word 'center' to 'right'. to keep text at the left hand side, do not use bbc code. or, if you just want to know it, it's fair simple. If you have not already guessed it instead of 'center' type 'left'
Pretty simple right?
