- ■ CALM Zachary rarely shows any emotions, especially nervousness. He always has a serious demeanor about him, and can keep his head in times of despair or trouble.
■ QUIET Zachary has always been a quiet person. He is more of an observer than an actor, choosing to stay back and watch events unfold, analyzing them before acting himself. He rarely raises his voice, and will only do so if he is extremely angry.
■ OBSESSIVE Zachary believes that everything has a place and a purpose. He has a specific order in which he does things. If his order is disrupted, he tends to get upset and quickly tries to restore the order.
■ PROTECTIVE Zachary has a hard time letting people into his heart, but when he does, he cares for them deeply. He will become extremely protective of them, especially if they are in danger. His daughter is a good example of this behavior.

- CHILDHOOD Zachary lived a normal childhood in a normal neighborhood with a normal family. Everything was fairly average, just the way he liked it. That is, until he was about eight or so, when his magic started to show up. Then things became less normal. It turned out that he was a wizard, or at least that was what the Governor from Hogwarts told him. Zachary wasn't exactly happy about being a wizard, but he put up with the magic and the new school, because he really didn't have much of a choice in the matter.
SCHOOL YEARS While at Hogwarts, Zachary was sorted into Hufflepuff. He wasn't sure why, since he figured he was more of a Ravenclaw. At least, he thought so. He wasn't familiar with the sorting process more than what he was read in a book he had purchased in Diagon with his assigned Governor the summer before. Zachary made good grades in the subjects he grew to love, leaving the others to suffer as he dropped out of them.
POST GRADUATION After graduation, Zachary met a Muggle girl named Taylor. She was beautiful, with long brown hair and round eyes the color of melted chocolate. He quickly fell in love with her gentle spirit and kindhearted nature, and asked her hand in marriage. Thankfully, she said yes, and they were wed. A few years later, Taylor had become pregnant. It was a rough pregnancy, and in the end, Taylor didn't make it though to see her baby girl. This left Zachary to raise his daughter alone, which he managed to do fairly well. Still, he could feel himself mixed with emotions, happy that his daughter was growing up well and that she had both his knack for learning and her mother's loving spirit, but also sad because she was a mirror image of Taylor. When Monika was seven years old, Zachary hired a nanny to take care of her while he pursued a career as a educator at Hogwarts, teaching Muggle Studies.
2030 ~ This was the year that Hogsmeade was attacked by Deatheaters. It was the very end of the school year, everyone was leaving for the summer holiday when they attacked. They filled the streets, burning as many buildings as they could, causing chaos within minutes. I was one of the last people out of the castle that day, leaving me to help defend the castle. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to do as much as I should have been able to do. Not long after the Deatheaters showed up at the castle, I was knocked out, one of their curses hitting my shoulder and leaving me to pass out. I think they must have thought I was dead or something. Either way, I don't remember much after that, except waking up in the hospital after the battle was over.
