The Military Headquarters sits in the center of the city, standing as more of a reminder of their strength and duty to protect those within the city and to stop and hunt down each member of the gangs in the other cities.

Leon sauntered back into headquarters with his hands tucked into his coat pockets. He wasn't particularly on high alert for anything as he didn't expect something to happen. These days were rather calm and usually nothing happened around headquarters. Not unless anyone was ballsy enough for that. Even then, it would have been a small dispute not some gang attack. Speaking of gangs, he was itching for any of them to surface from their shitholes. He needed something to do other than stop petty fights and crimes. The paper work for that would be insane, but well worth it. If he was a kid again he would triple dog dare them.
Looking up he saw the building, looming over the city of Zildo. Appearing to watch over everyone and everything. Whether not its placement was intentional, he enjoyed the intimidating feeling that radiated off of it. Reaching it, he pushed the doors open and straightened up his posture, picking up his pace slightly. This was made more out of a habit, not to appear threatening on purpose, but because the people here had a tendency to irritate him and he wanted them to leave him alone.
For the most part, many did. He was infamous for his violent outbursts and tantrums, something everyone knew here all to well. Those that were around earlier this morning could testify for those who were new or still did not believe it. There were those who did insist on testing him just for kicks. Most of them ended up learning the hard way that, that was indeed a horrible idea.
Leon made his way around the building, back to the particular area that he had trashed. Small objects that were needed constantly were picked up already as well as the tables that they were on, but for the most part it was still a mess. At some point the other squad members, as well as other, learned that General Vali would force him to clean up his mess. To which was rather shameful, but in all fairness that made sense. Unfortunately.
Without further delay, he started picking up the mess he made, giving a glare to those who had stopped working to watch.
(( ooc: Leon is kylo ren omg. ))

✉ You are seriously beginning to piss me off, you do know that right? ✉ ________________________________________________________ It was quiet in the office, almost too quiet. It was annoying. Yet at the same time, he supposed it did mean he had less in the way of distractions for while he worked.
Although, that still didn't really change anything. Working or not, he was beginning to get bored. There wasn't much more he could do with the project he had set up at his desk right at that moment, and it wasn't like he could bring all of his tools and materials out into the office either. Would it be easy to simply get up and go into the room that was set up as his work space? Yes, probably, but he wasn't in the mood to continue working on something that would more than likely be fruitless in the end. It wasn't an android, really, not in this case. It was more of a tech based weapon he was supposed to be taking a look at, and figuring out how to either repair, or replicate.
Unfortunately, the circuitry was pretty much completely fried, and any data that might have once existed in the weapon was lost along with it. Whatever had happened to the weapon, it was near out of his capabilities, as he was now, to repair. Though that could simply have been the boredom talking.... Yeah that was probably it.
He looked back down at the weapon, scanning over the fried wiring, and the scorched outer shell. After a moment he glanced over at the small organized pile of parts he'd removed from the weapon, his mind working a mile a minute as he went through several possibilities of what exactly might have happened and what he might be able to do to either repair it, or to re-purpose it.
"This isn't exactly my specialty though..." He sighed out, suddenly standing up from his desk, the sound seeming to startle a few people who were in the office around him. He flicked his gaze around at them all, his eyes almost dull as he moved away from the chair, and headed around to the front of his desk. He didn't really care if they were aggravated with him for making noise so suddenly when the room was near silent moments before. He was annoyed with the silence to begin with, why should he apologize? He shouldn't.
"What was that..?" He asked, suddenly pausing as he felt his foot hit something on the ground. Blinking, Kieran looked down to see a stapler sitting right beneath his foot. For a moment, he simply stared at it, wondering how it had gotten there, before he suddenly remembered what he'd heard from within his room. Usually sound didn't travel too well into his work space, but he'd had the door open slightly most of the morning as he'd not had much to work on, and so sound wasn't really a problem. It was Leon. Some poor unfortunate soul had managed to piss him off pretty early in the day, and he remembered hearing him knock a few things over..though maybe flip was a better term to use?
He brought his gaze up to scan the area around his own desk, to where Leon's desk was, and then over a little further through the room. Things had really gone flying, and he was surprised no one was hurt in the process. Especially with a pair of scissors that had clearly had a bit too much momentum, and was, it seemed, to be sticking out of the wood of one of the desks to his left.
"Did he not have his coffee before they decided to say something to piss him off? Unfortunately I was too distracted this morning to think about offering any. Not that it was my fault he hadn't gotten his cup...but the idiot who pissed him off should have at least thought better of it if that was the case." He thought to himself before he slid his foot from over top the stapler, then crouched to pick it up, his gaze scanning over the object blankly, almost like he was just doing it to look like he wasn't lost deep in thought.
Of course something snapped him out of it in the next moment, and probably for the best as when he lifted his gaze from the stapler, he found himself looking over towards the man he was just thinking of. Oh...wait..that was probably a weird way to put it. Sighing, he stood up slowly, and moved to place the stapler on one of the desks that seemed to be missing theirs, and then he headed over to pick up whatever else was scattered in front of his own desk. His gaze however, drifted over to Leon every once in a while, as though to check on him and his mood. It wasn't necessarily like he thought he could just tell him to not be angry if he did seem to be getting worked up again, but he'd like at least a heads up first. That way, he may at least be able to either hide away in his work space, or he could try and find something to diffuse the situation a little more.
Though if the idiots at their desks that were sitting there watching the man clean didn't get back to their work quietly or get up to help at least, it wasn't going to be an easy task. ________________________________________________________

It was much less a habit than it was part of his job or even his programming in general. His movements were casual, natural strides as he balanced some papers within his metallic arms.
He was often on patrol's at least twice, once during the early hours of the day, and the second during nightfall. Though like normal, he brought in both reports of his patrolling during the time that most were on their lunch break's or a little after even. That was why he was in the office once again, not minding the staring he did receive from those who had yet to adjust to his presence.
He noticed discarded office supplies, the scissors that were embedded in one of the desks, papers and other supplies. He set down the office supplies were they were not in the way quietly as he glanced over the caused damage. The internal scanners running and noticing the differences from the original blue prints of the room.
He picked his reports back up, holding them carefully once more in his metallic grip. He walked to Vali's office turning his report in, before stepping out and, shifting the desks and such back into their original places. He had noticed each familiar signature that read out on his scanners, Kieran and Leon were those he had worked with before. He saw nothing out of place with their being there now, it was one reason he chose not to approach where they were cleaning. He knew they had their own work under control, though if they requested his help he wouldn't turn it down.
He had time before he would need to report into the Dr. Havel, then go on his final patrol. This was not a bad way of passing it.

After a relatively uneventful patrol, Hyo-Rin made it to headquarters. She still had the food. Well most of the food. She had come across a couple homeless people and gave them food after directing them to a shelter.
She was surprised with how quiet it was in the office. Generally she could hear people talking or getting ready to head out. When she did get in the room she noticed that there were people in there. Though it sounded like there were only a handful. She smiled at where she heard the most people and made her way over to her desk. After a quick around to make sure no one moved any of her things or took them. She set the remaining food down and pulled out her report from her bag.
Even though Vali told her to merge today and yesterday's reports she was just going to turn this one in now. She'd have today's report tomorrow morning. She was going to be patrolling for the rest of the day anyway.
Sighing, she headed over to Vali's office, kicking something that skittered across the floor on the way there. Why do people always leave s**t on the floor? I swear, she thought as she set her report on his desk.
She made her way back to her desk and began preparing things for her patrol.

Leon silently cursed at Kieran for helping him pick up the mess. He wouldn't say anything about it though, he was too prideful to shame himself further by rejecting the help. Not like he would show any of that. But he had to wonder why Kieran decided to help.
Glancing upward over at him, it seemed like the other was more or less keeping tabs on his mood. Now that was smart, he wasn't about to give him too much credit for that, though. With how long they all been around each other, they should already know how to watch out for his bad temper. Yet somehow there was still those who didn't know how to avoid it. The sad part was that he actually did have his coffee before it happened. The little s**t stink that did it happened to set him off even more when he was put in a bad mood by another. Honestly it wasn't their fault, as it probably would just be better for everyone if he learned anger management. Not like he ever would. At this point it just didn't seem like he was capable of being calm. For now, it was best to assume he was always pissed before approaching him.
Once everything was picked up, Leon took the scissors that were stuck in on of the desks and walked over to the subordinate's desk that had set him off. Without a word he jammed it into the desk, near where their hand was. In case they didn't catch on that was a fair warning to them, should they do it again they would end up in the infirmary ward. Most of the time there were no casualties, but on a few rare occasions he was known to mildly injure another, even if it wasn't by directly harming them.
Seeing that brought on more attention, Leon shot the rest of the room a look to cue them in on getting back to work before he flipped the entire room this time around.
Now that was over with he moved back over to his own work space to get started on anything else that needed to be done.

✉ You are seriously beginning to piss me off, you do know that right? ✉ ________________________________________________________ Kieran didn't miss the look Leon threw him, and for a moment he did his best to ignore it, resisting the urge to meet his gaze while they were cleaning. For some reason, he got the feeling it might not be a good idea. In fact, he tended to get that feeling a lot from him. Which is why he's never really had a chance to look him over a little more in depth, other than maybe from the side, and even then, he chose to be a bit more careful about it, not taking long. It wasn't necessarily that he was interested in him in a relationship type way, but he did like to get a look at those around him, sometimes simply for research purposes. Leon was one of the most difficult to do that with however. Staring at him, depending on the time, or maybe most of the time, could always possibly set him off.
That was honestly a bit disappointing. Then again, most people didn't seem to much care for a person just walking up to them and touching them or staring at them, even if it was for research purposes. It seemed to weird them out. He supposed he could understand to some extent, but it always frustrated him a bit when he really wanted to examine the movements of another.
'Not everyone has as little shame as me though...and it's not like they are just going to assume I'm doing it for the purpose of examining how others move in order to better the androids I make. Or may make in the future.' He thought to himself, as he stood to set a few of the things he'd picked up on the appropriate desks, and a few things on a table, some belonging there, some he just wasn't sure what to do with. He hadn't missed either Hyo-rin or Stardust walking in, but at the same time, he was trying to focus on getting things sorted out where he was, so they didn't have to deal with Vali being upset later.
It was then he heard something skitter a bit across the floor, and he glanced in Hyo-rin's direction, seeing that she had kicked something as she was walking. He hadn't quite noticed that the area around her desk was a little messed up as well, though luckily it didn't seem it was too bad there. He moved to pick it up from the floor when he noticed Leon moving across the room, to the desk that had the scissors sticking out of them. That probably wasn't a good thing. Though for who, he wasn't sure, and though he knew he probably should get up and try to stop him or say something, he instead decided to just stay there, crouched to pick up what Hyo-rin had kicked, and watch. He was curious as to which idiot it had been that had pissed him off that morning.
He watched as he silently took the scissors, lifted them, and stabbed them into the desk, in what looked to him, like near centimeters from their hand, before he turned his gaze on the rest of them. For a moment Kieran's gaze lingered on the scissors, his face looking almost blank, before he shifted his gaze up to Leon, this time not even trying to hide that he was looking at him.
He wasn't sure whether it was in challenge, or what, but whatever it was, it took until Leon got back to his desk for him to manage to pull his gaze back to what he was doing. The movement was quick as well, as he now found himself drifting a bit back into thought.
'Wonder how difficult it was for him to not actually stab the guy in the hand. If that had been me, I'd probably have actually done it. I could also, have probably tried to stop him but didn't. Ahhh...one of these days I'm going to get myself killed for my curiosity. Or so my brother used to tell me.' He thought to himself, chuckling quietly as he stood with the few things he'd gathered from around Hyo-rin's desk. He turned to look towards her, his gaze skimming over her quickly, before he sighed, quietly, and spoke.
"Here, I cleaned up the mess around your desk for you. Sorry about that, someone decided today would be a good day to die I guess. Or..since they didn't die, at least a good day to attempt it anyways." He tilted his head a bit in thought, before he shrugged and headed back to the table to place everything. He didn't want to go and hunt down each persons desk that was missing something. It was too time consuming, and though it had given him a slight reprieve from his boredom, it had only helped for so long before he found himself getting bored again.
Though maybe that was because cleaning was rather dull in comparison to watching someone cause a little chaos. Whatever it was, it didn't matter anymore. No matter how much he might want something exciting to happen around the office, he really just didn't feel like getting Leon to do something. Not when they'd just gotten done cleaning up the mess from the first fit of anger for the day.
'Plus, one of my projects is out here, the last thing I want is someone to accidentally hit it, or even maybe purposely. I want something interesting to happen, not for someone to piss me off. We don't need more than one person showing they have anger issues around the office right now.' Of course because he had wandered back into his thoughts, he hadn't really been paying too much attention to where he was walking as he turned back to head towards his desk, and he found himself just barely managing to stop himself from running right into one of his squad mates, hand out to keep from hitting full on into him. Stardust.
He was someone he'd only really caught glimpses of a lot of the times, or that he maybe worked near but had no time to really examine or anything as he'd usually been really busy with a project during the time, or he had been talking to Vali about the progress he'd made on something he'd asked him to do. Until now, he'd not even come in contact with the guy, not even for a handshake as the first time he'd met him, he'd been so lost in thought and in his work, that he hadn't really understood what the man was doing when he held out his hand to him. Now however, something immediately caught his attention, as he blinked and stared at where his hand was on the guys back. It took him a moment to realize he was probably being rude, and he quickly pulled his hand back, though he had to admit, it wasn't easy for him to do.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying much attention to where I was going.." He said, a bit quietly, as he let his hand fall back to his side, and his gaze lifted a bit just in case he turned around. He had yet to really get a decent look at his face as well, and figured if he turned around, now would be the best time to do so."..Um. I do have a question for you, though. I'm not sure if I'm just oblivious, or what, but would you by any chance...happen to be an android?" ________________________________________________________

In the middle of of setting up her phone so it would record her as she went and keep track of her location she heard a thunk. She wasn't surprised to hear Leon's chair slide out and someone sit down. Oh joy, Leon's angry. Not that that's new or anything, she thought. She repressed a sigh. Sometimes she wondered why she worked with these people.
A voice pulled her from her thoughts. She had to resist the urge to flinch in surprise. "Oh, thank you. You didn't have to," she said, smiling in his direction.
She heard him walk away and shrugged. Turning back to her phone she quickly voiced the command to start her recording/gps app and grabbed her sword. She made sure it was secured on her back before walking over to Leon's desk.
"You know, I don't think you need to stab things with scissors to intimidate people, but then again, for all I know you have a baby face. What did they do anyway?" She asked, curious as to what set him off. Sometimes it was legitimate things and sometimes they were so silly she had trouble not bursting out into laughter.

For the most part the office went back to being quite except for a few scattered conversations here and there. Not like Leon really cared much for it. If anything he'd rather get ahead on some of this work before ******** off for the rest of the day before some one else pissed him off. That sounded like a great plan.
To bad he wasn't to into focusing on work at the moment. So instead he took one of the rubiks cubes and started to mess with it as he looked at his screen. At least for now he was rather tame and wouldn't flip his s**t anytime. Well, that actually depends on the coworks but it looked like they had enough for one day.
It was then that Hyo-rin approached him, but what she said caught him completely off guard. Truth be told he wasn't sure if he should be angry for being spoken to in such an informal manner or if he should be proud, hell maybe even both. Even the rest of the office seemed surprised by her comment.
Leon sat there for another moment before cracking a grin and laughing. "Out of everyone here, you are the only one with enough balls to even think about saying that to me, you know that right, kid?" He laughed once more in amusment, though he wasn't going to let her know that he was indeed impressed. To be honest if anyone else tried that they would be sent flying. It just happened that he sized her up wrong. Maybe Hyo-rin did have more in her than he gave her credit for.
(( ooc: nah its all good ^^ ))

✉ You are seriously beginning to piss me off, you do know that right? ✉ ________________________________________________________ Kieran shot a glance back towards Hyo-rin's desk for a moment as he heard her respond to his earlier comment, and he blinked, only just now realizing that it probably had been rather rude of him to just say something and walk away from her. It was bad enough that he'd startled her when he had spoken, forgetting again about how quietly he could move at times. He needed to remember to either announce his approach before hand or to at least make a little more noise when he moved next time.
That or he would just do what he usually did and let her figure out a way to start noticing when he moved. She shouldn't drop her guard completely anywhere anyways. Not even in the office, or around the people she worked with. Especially when it came to people in their squad. They were far from the most stable, or safe group of people. Funny enough, she seemed the most normal out of them all, and even that was still pushing it a bit. None of them were normal.
He blinked again, realizing he'd gotten a bit lost in thought, and he turned just in time to see Stardust turning to face him. When he did, Kieran met his gaze, slight surprise showing on his face as he noticed the colors of his eyes. Black sclera and golden yellow irises. If he'd seen his face before he would probably have figured it out sooner, or maybe he would have jumped to the conclusion that he was just some other non-human creature, but obviously he'd not been all too observant before. Actually, taking a slight step back to take a closer look at the male made him a little more than aware of the fact that he had more than likely just been oblivious before, as upon inspection, despite the other being considered an android, he didn't have too much in the way of a human body, other than in shape, ability to think and speak much like a human, and the hair atop his head.
Whether he looked fully human or not however mattered very little, as Kieran could care less if the body had synthetic skin or anything else like that. The fact would still remain that he was there, a moving, thinking, speaking, living android! One he hadn't created himself, one he wasn't personally involved in even! He had to fight his urge to reach out and touch him, just to see what material he was made of, to see how sturdy he was. He just barely managed.
'Even still, how the hell did I manage not to notice this until now? I mean I know I can be pretty oblivious when lost in thought but isn't this just a bit on the ridiculous side? To not notice him at all? How long has he even been working here? I vaguely remember someone trying to introduce themselves to me before, but I had been a bit busy...The name he gave does ring a bell.' He thought to himself as he looked him over one more time before finally realizing he should probably actually respond to him this time.
"Ah! I got lost in thought again. But you are an android? That's awesome, amazing! How have I gone this long without noticing!? How am I that oblivious!? I'm so sorry! I must have seemed so rude in the past when we first met. For me to ignore you or to not notice...I almost feel ashamed of myself." He said, just barely managing to keep his voice from getting too loud, though the excitement in his voice was clear as day as he took a small step towards the other to lean in for a closer look. He really just wanted to reach out and touch him, to examine him and the way he was built. However he kept his hands to himself for the moment, then suddenly realized he hadn't actually properly responded. He laughed quietly and apologetically before grinning and holding out a hand to the other.
"Ah, I'm sorry, I almost failed to respond properly once again! Anyways, it's nice to meet you, Stardust, my name is Kieran, and I don't really have such an official title as yours. I'm but a lowly little mercenary here in this squad." He said, putting the hand he wasn't holding out to the other against his chest a bit dramatically as he introduced himself as "but a lowly mercenary". A moment later though another voice reached his ears, Hyo-rin's, he realized, and it was coming from the direction of Leon's desk. That wasn't really the issue though. What was, was what he heard her say to him, and suddenly the smile that was on Kieran's face vanished, and he flicked his gaze in their direction, his body a bit tense as he looked between the two. Did the girl just not understand the situation? Why did she have to go and say something like that to the man?
Was she crazy? Wait...hadn't he just gotten done thinking that their squad was a bunch of unstable crazies? That was a stupid question then. Though the response she got from Leon threw him off more than what she had actually said to him. He was...laughing? Well...as much as he wanted to say it was nice to see him respond in some way other than violently and angrily, the laughter didn't exactly sit well with him either. Not that it wasn't interesting to actually hear him laugh...
'Hyo-rin....you are one crazy girl...and I think I might have to respect you just a little more for that.' He thought to himself, shaking his head and chuckling slightly as he looked between the two one more time before he turned back to Stardust. ________________________________________________________

He lifted his metallic hand taking the smaller hand within his grip being careful not to crush his hand. "It's nice to meet you Kieran." Though he already knew who he was from the basic information on each of his squad members, mostly their names, their energy signatures and their ranks.
He didn't say that though, this was their first proper meeting from Professor Havel's original introduction attempts during the busier time.
"You are not lowly, Professor Havel is fond of your work and has spoken highly about you." He praised, though he wasn't certain if he was using the right phrasing or if this was one of those moments were it was appropriate to praise a colleague.

She was surprised when she heard laughing in response. It wasn't like she expected to get hit, but laughter wasn't exactly the response she was looking for. Not that she minded. His comment did make her realize how her comment wasn't something she would usually say at work. Where did that come from?, she thought. It wasn't that she would never say something like that. It just she wouldn't say something like that at work. She was a very different person at work. Quiet and always doing what she was told. Maybe I'm just getting tired of being like this? She did spend most of her time doing work now a days. She hardly did anything for herself anymore. If she wasn't here she was patrolling or doing paperwork. I need a hobby. Maybe I should start doing gymnastics again? Or parkour? Something I can do when no one else is around so people don't get suspicious of the blind girl climbing buildings and doing flips. She would figure that out later though.
"Well, someone was bound to eventually," she stated calmly. "And to be honest there wasn't much thinking. It just kind of happened. I got to hear you laugh though, so it was worth the risk." She said, smiling at him.
Stardust's voice from across the room caught her attention. At first she was confused as to who he was talking to. She hadn't been paying attention to them as much, just enough to know they were still there. After a moment she figured it out. He didn't notice that he was an android? How? She knew that he wasn't covered in synthetic skin by the sounds he made when he came into contact with stuff. She knew she had to be making a weird face as she turned toward Kieran, mostly out of reflex.
"How did you not notice? I noticed. And I can't even see him." She muttered to herself. She knew Kieran was a little bit oblivious, but this was ridiculous as far as she was concerned.

Leon grinned at Hyo-rin. "Don't get used to it."Either she believed that everyone here was as ballsey as herself or she was unaware of his reputation. Either way no one, no- take that back someone else was bound to. Though if she were anyone else there would be hell to pay. Not because she was much younger than he was or anything of the sort. But because she couldn't see, though that didn't stop her from being better than these idiots who could. Even so, it wouldn't make for much when she couldn't truly grasp everything that was going on other than yelling and things being thrown.
Speaking of things being thrown he might have to pay for damages. Again. You'd think that would be incentive to learn a bit of anger management but no. Not for Leon. No object no person was safe regardless of what weight they carried. Unless they were a legitimate superior.
She then left to go talk to Stardust and Kieran. Though it seems as if she still has more snark in her left. Maybe next time he would just lose it should she dare speak to him that way again. But it was all just fun banter, right? Wrong.
After taking the next few minuets to do a couple of other things Leon got up and left the room, ignoring that small group as he left.
(( ooc: lol its fine, this took forever and tbh not entirely sure what to do with him lol. might have him go out again ))

► Kieran Ruari Driscoll◄ ► "I want to make something that simulates Our actual lives. Something that can Exist in our world as we do."◄ I'm dusting off the ash from us, this war is finally over But you want me trapped back in the past, you think I'll sink, and suffer, But blah blah blah di blah, tell your friends I'm lost, If I don't have you, I'll get on with life, never thinking twice, Then you'll see the truth! ________________________________________________________
✉ You are seriously beginning to piss me off, you do know that right? ✉ ________________________________________________________ It seemed like Hyo-rin was going to be alright for the moment at least, as he listened to her response to Leon and heard just a chuckle and a comment he didn't quite catch from Leon before his attention was brought sharply back to Stardust, as he felt the others hand take his. Instinctively he grasped the others hand, though not too tightly, and barely remembered in time to actually shake it, though he did so lightly. The cool metal of the others hand was distracting, and made it a little more difficult for him to keep himself from simply reaching out to just inspect the android further.
He kept himself held back however, if not because he knew he should try and keep himself under control, then at least because it would more than likely be just a little rude for him to just start touching the other and running around him like some annoying fly. He caught the sound of someone's voice again however, and for a moment he shot his gaze in Hyo-Rin's direction again.
'She is in some kinda snarky mood today it seems, though it's not really annoying, so much as it is amusing. It's nice to see her not so uptight and orderly for once.' He thought grinning a bit and chuckling slightly, amusement clear in his voice as he responded to her snarky comment.
"Well now, someone is in a bit of a mood today isn't she? Someone wake you up on the wrong side of the bed love?" Kieran teased, aware he might get some sort of smart a** remark in return, or that he may annoy her, but he didn't care. He was also aware he didn't often show this side of himself in the office, at least not as of late, since his brother went missing. Also because he was usually rather busy with the projects he was given. "Better be careful with how you talk around me or you might just make me fall for you!"
He finished, laughing quietly before the grin turned to something more like a smile as his attention was brought back to star when the male started speaking again. He found himself blinking in surprise when he heard the name Havel, and that he was fond of his work. It was even surprising that he was said to have spoken highly of him. Of course he'd only been joking about being a lowly mercenary to some extent, but it seemed it had brought out a quite unexpected response from the other.
He'd heard of Havel, about how he was apparently a great engineer of sorts that worked for the military by creating things like androids and the like that worked with and for them. His work was always rather impressive, though he did take note that through all of the mans great achievements, he always seemed to leave something out of his work. Emotion. If Stardust was talking about the Havel he thought he was, and he came from that man, then did that mean he was one of those androids that were built without much emotion? That were usually programmed to follow orders, and who didn't have much free will? If so, that made him kind of sad to think about, that this amazing being before him was unable to really know what it was like to feel. It made him like him no less however, and he didn't want to show disrespect either. Even if he couldn't feel emotion he was sure he'd know when someone was displeased about something dealing with him, and he knew that because of a more logical mind, he might take that as he was disappointed in him rather than that he was upset over Havel not including the ability to learn and feel emotion in him.
"Oh, the professor is interested in, and has even spoken highly of me? That's a surprise, that such a man would even take notice of someone like me. I never thought myself to be someone as great as that!" He said, the look of surprise on his face turning to a slight smile now, as he brought his other hand up to place it around the other side of the hand he already held. Okay so he couldn't help the slight look of sadness that entered his eyes after all. How could he keep it all back anyways, when his life was dedicated to creating beings that were capable of living, walking, talking, thinking, feeling, and existing in a way much like humans could? If this really was one of Havel's creations, it more than likely meant he really couldn't feel emotion, so him getting his feelings across wasn't really going to be possible.
After a moment, he let his hands fall away from him, and he brought the smile back, though he was sure the other had already noticed a slight change in his mood.
"Though I do have to say that while his work is often amazing, it does make me sad to think that such an amazing being such as yourself may never really get to know what emotion feels like. Havel isn't one who's known to put the ability to feel emotions into his creations. He is passionate about his work, that I can tell, but it still kind of makes me sad to think of it." He shrugged a bit though, sighing. With a chuckle he continued.
"Either way I look forward to getting to know you a bit more Star, and to working with you. When you get the chance, could you tell your Professor Havel that I am grateful that he sent you here and that he's given me the chance to meet you, and to see his work in person?" He said, though he was kinda disappointed that he hadn't let himself act on his urge to examine the man further. It couldn't be helped however, as the situation in the office had thrown him off a bit. ________________________________________________________
