Personality: Mynshaka is a very rough and tumble guy; which has not been a good thing considering his status. He does not take orders well and will always try to find someway to screw up the task or do the complete opposite.
He tries to encourage those around him to do so as well.. if they look strong enough to take the punishment that will occur. If they cannot fend for themselves (applies only to Matori) he does what he can to cover for them knowing he can take the beating and they can't.
Shaka never gives up hope and never stops trying. This can be good and bad as while he never gave up hope his people would one day be free, he also never stops causing trouble and will keep pestering and poking at people to get them to go along.
Because of his status and his attitude; he has received many beatings and punishments; making him even more aggressive and angry towards Obans. He does not tolerate slavery of any kind nor bullying and does his best to stop this (now that he's free of course!) Someone who is a bully or slave holder is automatically and enemy to be destroyed in his eyes. He will hold this grudge for a very long time and does not give second chances to these folks.
Description:
- Hair: Straight hair, shaved on the sides(can add a wave pattern if you want) and pulled back into a pony tail that reaches his shoulders. Sorta like this one but with a tail instead of a bun.
Body: Tall and has broad shoulders and chest.
Face: Orange eyes!
Expression: Snarling, pissed off looking, or a big smirk

Clothing: Wears simple sash and pants with tattered hems that ends at the knees. Sleeveless tunic with some wave designs along the bottom.(exact outfit is up to artist~)
Accessories: Anklet made up of shells. Band holding his braid up also has some shells in it. (He may have been a slave, but his story starts a bit after they have been freed and he and others are making jewelry and stuff to wear now)
History: Born a slave he never really knew real freedom; though he could see it in the Obans and the untamed sea that he grew up along. He would always see the sea and think that one day he'd be as free as that. The sea to him was strong, it wore away the beach that held it back, it was calm and tranquil but also a raging force to be reckoned with. He has tried to model himself after the sea; wanting to be that force that protects his people and destroys those that have chained them for so long.
His mother died when he was really little due to a sickness and no real access to the medicine needed. His father raised him as best he could; but due since Borlak (the da) had been crippled by overwork years before, he was only able to keep Mynshaka healthy with the help of the Matori living in their rundown town. Shaka took after his father in build; even at a young age it was obvious he was going to grow up rather large.
Due to his size and strength, Shaka was bought as a young boy by a merchant as a teenager and forced to unload and load the ships that his master used on the main land. But Shaka soon proved to be the worst loader ever; he always dropped things (deliberately), threw heavy things over board to sink into the sea, threw them at Obans, and always causing a mess and costing his owner money.
Because he was so young, his owner thought he could beat the attitude out of Shaka... but all it did was make it worse so he decided to stop losing money and send the Matori boy off to be reeducated if possible and purchased a more docile slave.
The war came at a fortuitous time for Mynshaka;being retrained/reeducated usually meant death through work in things like mines if they could not be cowed.
He returned happy and hopeful to his homeland for the first time since he'd been bought, wishing to be of help in building their new kingdom free of Obans as well as seeing his father again. He is curious as to what the people of Tendaji are like and is considering leaving home to go see these great warriors and hopefully make alliances.. .for he does not think the Obans will give up and believes that they will try to enslave Matori again and try to conquer the Tendjians again as well.
