Adri was getting more and more comfortable in the pride that she now called home. Ever since she had met Waridi things seemed to have just fallen into place for her.

She had fallen in love and now her and Waridi had finished getting their den all in order. Life seemed to be in order, next up for them was cubs, and they were having all sorts of fun trying for them.

Mellas was flying above her as they walked. It was becoming more comfortable for the both of them to be around each other, and with the little bird's foot still healing, she wanted to keep a close eye on her.

She seemed to be doing well enough, though, and Xagara wasn't too worried about her companion. She let the avian leader her at an easy pace, listening to the soft flap of wings every so often above her.

The day was slow so far. It could get a tad boring as a healer in such a peaceful pride, but it had its moments of rush and worry as well.

Adri saw the younger female coming along the way with an avian flying not to far above her. She felt her smile grow. SInce she had gotten more comfortable in the pride Adri loved meeting others, so when she saw the other female she immediately gotten excited.

"Good morning!" Adri called up as she approached the younger female, "How are you today." she glanced up at the avian and offering her a kind smile as well. Adri had never had a familiar companion but she knew they were somewhat common in this pride.

When Mellas noticed that the white lioness had stopped to talk to another, she swooped back towards te pair, and landed on her lioness's back. "Good Morning!" Xagara said back, glancing up whenn she saw her companion fly back towards her.

"It's a fine day, so all is well!" She told the other lioness. "How about yourself, Miss?" she asked. The avian on her shoulder was a little shy. After she'd been attacked, she was left a little skittish around strangers, after all.

Nessiaing
"Oh dear you dont have to call me miss, call me Adri." Adri was still a fairly young lioness and thought being called miss made her seem much older than she was. Although she was rather impressed by the younger females impeciable manners.

She settled herself into a seated position offering the avain that was clearly protective of the youthful lion but oddly quiet a quick nod. "I can't say anything bad, its a nice day to be out for a walk." Adri said.

Seaki
Xagara gave a small hum, nodding. "Well then, Adri, this is Mellas," she turned her head a bit to gesture to the avian. "She's a little wary around strangers. I'm Xagara," she bounced a little. She was young, still energetic in everything as she had been in her youth.

"It's quite a nice day indeed. Perfect flying conditions as well, apparently," she was glad for it too, if the little avian could have some freedom she was all for it.

Nessiaing
"It is nice to meet both of you." Adri told the duo. In some ways she wished that she had a compainion like this avian, but in truth she had never even met a avain or any others like her that didn't already belong to someone else.

"I must say I am jealou of your partnership and you still so young." Adri told the lioness. "How did the two of you meet?"

Seaki
Xagara hummed, wondering if Mellas would mind the retelling of their story. A small sound from her shoulder gave her a bit of encouragement to go ahead and tell it, however. Mellas was older than she was, after all, and likely knew a ton more.

"She was getting attacked by some larger avians when I found her. I chased them away, and nursed her back to health." It was she did - she was a healer. She couldn't stand seeing others in pain. Mellas still didn't tell her what provoked them into attacking her, or if they even had a reason at all.

"We've spent a lot of time together since then, so we became friends, is all," she told the other lioness. "You don't have a companion of your own then?" she asked

Adri loved there story it was very sweet. she had a new fondess for the duo. It seemed like the two had a great respect for each other and a mutual dependance.

"No I have no companion like yours, if only I would be so lucky. Perhaps one day I will stumble upon someone. Unless of course you count my mate." she said with a chuckle.

A mate was one thing but the bond between a lion and their bird or hare was so different in Adri's mind she didn't think it was comparable to a mate's bond.

Seaki
"Perhaps one day!" Xagara agreed. She couldn't imagine not having Mellas with her, after all. She did not have a mate though, so she couldn't cpare the bonds either. "Mellas is very special," she shifted a little as the Avian fluttered her wings.

"And she's getting a bit restless. Her foot still hurts when she stands too long," the lioness said regretfully. Mellas gave a small sound of agreement, and took wing, flying into the sky.

"Perhaps I'll see you around?"

Nessiaing
"Yes I will see you around for sure. Good day to you, also Mellas I do hope your foot heals soon" Adri added with a kind smile.

She turned to head back towards her den she was pretty sure Waridi would be home from his nanny duties by now and she hoped that perhaps they could get back to their trying to have a family, he head was in the clouds and fully of giddy thoughts as she made her way home.
