xxxxThe Taijutsu Systemxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Taijutsu, "Technique of the body", is usually associated with martial arts, but spiritual beings take it one step farther by combining physical blows with their supernatural abilities for spectacular results.
The 4 main branches of Taijutsu (Hakuda, Carnicería, Partikelschmiede and Soul Warp) employed by spiritual beings are split into 4 tiers, each of which are listed in the following posts with a very short vague description of what each tiers entail. The purpose of these descriptions is to give a general feel and idea of what a practitioner of that level is capable of doing with their knowledge and skill. How such knowledge and skill is applied to real-time combat will be up to the role-player. Combat moves will still need to be described and explained in the role-players move, but Taijutsu will allow a role-player to turn a simple punch into something much more devastating depending on what branch of Taijutsu they employ. In a way, these short descriptions can be seen as justifications for the supernatural elements of a combat post.
Taijutsu practitioners are split into 4 proficiency levels: novice, intermediate, expert and master. While it is possible for a novice to learn techniques and abilities from all tiers, they will not be able to use them as easily and effortlessly as someone with better mastery of Taijutsu. This is why there is a limit to how frequent an RPer may consecutively use Taijutsu-related moves.
It should also be noted that Taijutsu proficiency levels are applicable to all branches of Taijutsu. Much like how it is much easier for an experienced musician to pick up a new instrument, expert Taijutsu practitioners will remain an expert even if they decide to pick a new branch of Taijutsu and start at Tier 1. What they will be able to do will this new Tier of Taijutsu will be limited, but the frequency will not be.
Some Tiers may have additional techniques stemming from what a practitioner of the associated Tier can do. These techniques will need to be learned through training posts and are not obtained automatically after unlocking a higher Tier.

Hakuda is the art of strengthening and solidifying Reiatsu to better use it as a weapon. Skilled practitioners can be compared to a walking suit of armor just by emitting Reiryoku in the form of Reiatsu though their Reiatsu still isn't as resistant as what Partikelshmiede creates. Reiatsu is also used to enhance the explosive strength behind Hakuda practitioner's movements when it comes to offensive maneuvers, making them balanced fighters with continuous offensive and defensive enhancements.

This has no range and the effects can only be felt upon contact with the intended target. It is also extremely short-lasting and requires concentration. Reiryoku consumption is also extremely wasteful and the practitioner will wear themselves out extremely quickly.

They cannot mold their Reiatsu into different shapes or form since Reiatsu is a constant flow of pressure that loses potency as soon as it is stopped. They can, however, extend their reach ever so slightly depending on how they direct the flow of their powers.
Pinwheel Dance - 7|13 training posts The practitioner quickly rotates their joint to let their spiritual energy flow in circular motion around their arms and torso. This has for effect the emission of a Reiatsu can redirect the brunt of ranged attacks and strengthen movement while circulating around the practitioner's body. The effect will wear off over time and will only remain in effect should the practitioner's body be in constant motion.
Pivot Point - 5|10 training posts The practitioner spins on itself to catch or swipe away incoming projectiles. They can then use the momentum of the spin to throw it back with just as much if not more force or launch their own attack. The faster the spin, the more effective the move. Awakened Mode by Master Kamina Reborn - 10|18 training posts When the user enters his/her awakened mode his/her body starts to glow blood red as a bloody red aura appears around his/her body. While this mode is active all physical traits and reiatsu are increase by 5 fold for a short period of time. Once the mode expires the bloody red aura will disappear and his/her body will no longer be glowing. If the activation of his/her awakened mode is interrupted he/she will not be able to activate it again until the cool down is over. The power posting limit is 7 while the cool down time is 14 posts. The color of the aura isnt always blood red but for most it is primarily the color of their reiatsu. So if you have black reiatsu your awakened mode will be black in color. Once awakened mode is finished the user will become very exhausted and if not used correctly will get them beat in a fight.

Tier three practitioners have enough control over their Reiatsu to turn them into projectiles, albeit ones with short ranges. It does not dissipate as quickly either. This is ideal to add damage to one's moves without bothering with Kido incantations. Reiryoku is converted into Reiatsu efficiently with no waste.
Slanted Scale - 9|17 training posts Initiated by a violent shudder, the practitioner will see their Reiryoku flow out in uneven Reiatsu bristles. Some parts of their body will be less protected than others due to the uneven distribution. Its purpose is to slightly deviate the landing point of incoming attack as, like water, attacks will tend to take the route with least resistance. In this case, it is where Reiatsu is the least dense. Even in a state of passive Reiatsu Emission, these individual will have defenses as strong as an Arrancar's Hierro or a Quincy's Blut. Their spiritual pressure is invasive, oftentimes capable of invading nearby creatures body should they not offer enough resistance. The air around them can also be saturated with Reiatsu, suffocating and greatly hindering their opponents' movements from all sides. Not only that, when condensed into pure energy, it can char or burst outwards. Their Reiryoku consumption also becomes extremely efficient, requiring minimal energy to deal devastating damage.
Killing Intent - 16|28 training posts By violently increasing one's Reiryoku output in the form of Reiatsu, a pressure can be exerted on individuals at close range. It is akin to a suffocating pressure wrapping itself around all within the practitioner's immediate vicinity. It is used to stun or throw off untrained opponents and awaken a primal fear.
Shunkō (瞬閧, Flash War Cry) - 25|38 training posts Shunkō is the highest form of Hakuda technique. It comes in elements such as 'wind' or 'lightning'. Shunkō is the highest form of Hakuda technique. The Kidō itself can be controlled and fired at opponents from the body. The uniform worn when punishment is carried out is specifically geared for Shunkō. The keisen uniform has no back or sleeves because the fabric will rip apart when the user's back and arms are filled with Kidō. By concentrating Shunkō around a particular area of their body, a practitioner can prevent attacks from damaging or piercing this area.
Hanki (反鬼, Reverse Demon) | Requires Shunkō and knowledge of 20 Rank 30+ Kido spells| 10| 17 posts An ability which nullifies an opponent's Kidō before it is fully charged by hitting it with another one of perfectly opposite speed and energy. The ability can even neutralize an opponent's movements.
Mukyū Shunkō (無窮 瞬閧, Tireless Flash War Cry) | Requires Shunkō and knowledge of 10 Rank 30+ Kido spells|7|13 posts A wind element variation of Shunkō. The technique makes the Reiatsu the practitioner emits revolve around themselves like a vortex indefinitely, allowing them to maintain Shunkō for as long as they wish once they activate it.
Busō Shunkō by Mattrnot | Requires Shunkō and knowledge of 10 Rank 30+ Kido spells| 7|13 posts A defensive variation of the technique created by Krin Kenpai, previous division 10 lieutenant, after activating Shunko the user presses their fists together in the center of their chest while taking a deep breath as the Kido energy is subsequently absorbed into the body. While active this technique gives the user incredible durability to pair with the dynamic offensive power of the technique stronger than even an Arrancar Hierro as more energy is being concentrated. Once inside the body releasing the Kido energy to attack damages the users body and using this technique for extended periods of time does incredible wear and tear to the user(they will be coughing blood).
Black Shunkō by Master Kamina Reborn | Requires Shunkō and knowledge of 10 Rank 30+ Kido spells| 7|13 The black shunko is identical to the original artical cept the color of the kido energy forming around the body is black instead of white. The elements available for the black shunko are fire, wind and lightning. Other then the added element its basically the same. The dark variant of the shunko would be available to those who have mastered the original shunko and with added training can materialize the black shunko. Primarily available to captains who are masters of hakuda.
Wirbelwind (whirlwind) by Lord Puffandsnuff III |Requires wings| 10|18 training posts The user flaps their wings and summons a tornado. It takes 3 posts to fully form the tornado. If an enemy gets caught in the tornado they are disoriented and buffeted by debris. The storm lasts for 2 posts unless actively maintained, it will also go off randomly unless actively controlled. The whirlwind attack can be escaped if the one inside is able to focus on escaping for a post.
Takeover - 8|15 training posts Gives access to the Soul Warp branch or strengthens it if it has already been acquired.

Carnicería isn't really associated to any known form of martial arts and is, in essence, pure violence that focuses primarily on offense, offense, and even more offense. Like Hakuda, it employs Reiatsu, spiritual pressure, but whereas Hakuda focuses on solidifying Reiatsu into solid pressure for a more balanced combat style, Carnicería turns spiritual energy and Reiatsu into a bubble of destruction that amplifies and destabilizes spiritual energy of both target and practitioner alike. It is used to exponentially increase the explosive strength of practitioners as though their Reiatsu was on steroid. Because of the amplified Reiatsu's added potency, it is capable of agitating molecules, increasing their potential energy so much that Carnicería moves can oftentimes inflict burn wounds. Practitioners of Carnicería can perform great feats of strength with much less energy than users that employ other branches of Taijutsu and, because of that, can often feel as though they have an excess of energy. This excess can oftentimes be displayed in the form of agitated frenzy and, more often then not, a berserk state. This also implies that Carnicería can be harmful for its practitioners when used for extended periods of time.

They will only have sufficient skills to turn their Reiatsu into the equivalent of adrenaline, slightly increasing their strength, speed and reaction speed. Their Reiatsu will only slightly heat up objects with large amount of Reiryoku within them. Despite the little effects their Reiatsu will have, practitioners will overheat and tire their body extremely quickly if they use it too often, leaving them in a state weaker than they were prior to its usage. Their range is relatively short, only that of an arm's length.
Meltdown - 6|10 training posts Upon contact with a spiritual being, the practitioner can transmit its agitated state of mind and Reiryoku to it. With enough strength, it can push back the target's Reiryoku them and instill a state of agitation if not heat them up from the inside.

In essence, it allows the practitioner to use the Reishi they can affect and mold it mid-combat to serve their purpose. It works best between abilities of the same race as it relies on sharing one's soul for a brief moment.
Psychometrics by Vexis Furi - 20|35 training posts By drawing out the soul of an object, it is possible to draw out memories related to it and add them to the practitioner's. It is temporary, however and will fade away after a little while, but it can also temporarily allow the practitioner to gain or improve a skill.
