She looked like a freaking goddess--as usual--even with wind-ruffled hair and feathers worn at the very tips from an overzealous suitor grooming them. Hah, he'd been fun...but that's all they ever were. Fun little tricks she could flirt with, enjoy herself and have a good time. Laughter was something Rixton loved to hear and she was a bit of a clown, always trying to crack the shell of even the most stoic bad boys.
She grinned wide and fanned her wings, hooves thundering across the ground as she prepared for take off. Maybe a flight would do her some good...maybe she'd run into Prince Charming, not that she believed in such a thing! Or...she didn't used to. Or maybe she was just so settled on not settling down as a young mare that she blocked out the idea of an eventual "mate".
It wasn't that she had commitment issues, no. Just that she liked to see what was out there. Test out the wide array of beautiful boys, wings and horns and claws and tails. Yet... They might've kept her warm for awhile, but the question was this: Is this as good as it's gonna get? Flings and fun?
She wasn't so sure. Spreading her wings, she took off into the air, her slender form lifted easily by her wingspan.

The large alicorn stallion was locked in battle, true it was just training and the other stallion wasnt really much of a challenge, but the flash in Imriel's eyes only warned that he was a hairs width of being completely consumed by the power to prove himself, and his strength and to take down any who dared to challenge him.
Horns knocked together as Imriel used one of his cloven hooves to shove off the others chest and toss his long ebony silk mane out of his face, the lavender gems tied into it flashed in the light as Imriel then used the momentum to flare out his wings and pop off the ground long enough to angle himself into a position to use his horn to slice into the other stallions shoulder, blood breaking the surface.
It might be training, but it was still a real battle.
Snorts of surprise could be heard echoing through the forest and into the skies as the other stallion stumbled back with a look of surprise. He'd been warned of Imriel's serious dedication to be the best of them, but he hadnt believe it all until now. "Enough..I give." The other stallion coughed out as his chin lifted as Imriel's next attack brought his horn under the jowl of the stallion, it would be a death blow if he had the need for one.
The other stallion gulped.

She kept her flight pattern low; going too high made her dizzy and while somedays that was a fun thing to do, today she was staying chill...especially once she heard the scuffle of battle. Ears pricking up, she circled through the air, pale eyes scanning the ground until she saw the source of a fight...and what a fight it was!
Two hunky boys with horns fought each other, valiant and brave, and the clatter of hooves and striking unicorn horns could be heard amidst the flutter of air in her ears. With a grin, she ducked into a nosedive, gracefully spiraling to the ground not far from the battle.
She should've been concerned that this fight was more than just tactical practice. But she wasn't--Rixton wasn't afraid of much and she didn't see leathered kalona wings or the fluffed pelt of a skinwalker, so she figured she was safe.
Head tipped high, her lavender eyes landed on the shiny-coated black stallion, who looked like some sort of warrior god slash supermodel and holy hell on wheels, he was CUTE. Cute and fierce! She flicked her tail, snapping the hairs against her hindquarters, and eased a little closer.
Front row seating...

Imriel drew his horn back, and took a few prancing steps back away from the other stallion, his body and mind still racing and tense with the next move, the next lunge, kick, slash, the next move he would need to defend his charge.
"Go then." Imriel's thick deep voice rumbled out in a snapping order, he couldn't believe another one was drawing out early once more! "You need to train harder! Your soft, and weak.." He snorted and shook his head in disappointment. He was running out of stallions willing to train against him, many of them now wore a scar from training against him.
He snorted and shook out his glossy mane, he seemed to have an certain shimmering ablitiy about his being, a gift from his mother. Thinking to her, he softened instantly it had been to long since he had last seen any of his family, but he was doing what they had left him to do and he would not shame them.
He rolled his shoulders, the large stallion lifted his head and glanced around, the sight of a mare not to far off caught his attention, an ebony brow arched curiously.

Rixton watched them carefully, the way the sleek black stallion seemed to exude a sort of confidence, like he was capable in his abilities to protect whoever he deemed worthy of his attention. A literal knight in shining armor. Her lips curved into a grin, amusement lighting up her eyes. That's when he turned his head and she caught his gaze; he was looking at her. She stood there for a moment, tucking her wings against her body after stretching them to their full length. She craned her neck and offered a smile.
Then she made her way over, aware that every step she took was sashaying, swaying, beautiful. She had a reputation of being a seductress, a siren, a mare that could draw any boy (or lady) in and have her wicked way with them. So maybe that's what it looked like, on the outside... But on the inside? She kept a piece of every single one of her past suitors' hearts. She remembered their names. They weren't just a fling.
And honestly, the girls who started the whole siren rumor were snotty bitches who were jealous of Rixton's swagger. "Hey there," she murmured, drawing to a stop in front of him, openly admiring his muscled and lean the alicorn was. "Pretty impressive..." She motioned to the retreating form of the losing stallion, her eyes narrowed playfully.
She sidestepped and tossed her head, tossing bangs from her eyes. "I'm Rixton."

He watched her, pale glowing lavender orbs drank in the sight of her. The movements of which she moved caused alarm bells to scream in the back of his mind as he continued to watch her, silently.
The muscle in his jaw twitched, he wasnt sure what it was about the mare that seemed to set the alarms off, warning, bright flashing, screaming warnings about said mare fell on deaf ears as the stallion had no reason to fear her, he was sure that she was no threat to him...and still he felt as if she was still somehow..dangerous.
His body was still tense from what had just ensued, but now his muscles twitched and flexed for a reason that seemed to leave him confused, his nose flared as her scent drafted up to him, tangling his senses in a way that left him...confused.
"Greetings Miss Rixton." He replied, his voice was a deep rumbling tone, like thunder in the distance. "Imriel Cassiel." He offered as he bowed his head in greeting, his long bangs falling over the side of his muzzle, one orb sparkling out brightly as he continued to drink her in.

Rixton gazed at him, noting the way he watched her, his eyes softly glowing and luminous. She stepped one step closer, noticing the intricate markings that ran down his nose and cheeks, the way the pale moonstones shone in the sunlight. But beyond his beauty--he was wary. Of what--of her? Not likely... Still, it kind of startled Rixton, which wasn't exactly in her vocabulary. She was used to boys fluttering to her side. And this one? He just stood there, smooth as a polished statue.
"Imriel," she murmured with a dip of her head. He smelled good, of sweat and of masculinity. She raised a brow and cocked a hind hoof, resting it lazily at the very crest of her hoof. "What was that all about?" She meant the fighting, the display of dominance. "Are you some sort of warrior god? Protecting the innocent from the evils of the world?" Curiosity lined her normally sultry tone, making her seem younger than she was.

His ears twitched and strained, catching her every word as he continued to silently watch her. As she stepped in closer, his chin lifted slightly arching his neck into a regal pose as his tail twitched out behind him.
There was something about the way his named rolled off her tongue that caused his being to flex, his muscles to grow taunt. As she questioned him, his eyes narrowed in on her, was she a mare looking for a guardian? Had he been on display without being aware of it? A quick scan around them only told him that they were alone, none of the elders were around to tell him that she was to be his charge.
They, were alone. For some unknown reason, that made him nervous. He had worked long, and hard hours to turn his nerves into hardened steel.
"I would never presume to be god like in any manner, but the rest you speak is true. I am a guardian, protecting those that need to be protected from the darker beings of the lands."

Rixton was always superbly aware of beautiful guys...but this one... Her eyes stayed attuned on him, the way his pelt gleamed in the sunlight, almost like a gemstone itself. And as she watched him, she was aware of the effect her presence had on him--aware of the fact that he looked...intimidated. Him? The stallion who had, just moments ago, fought with horn, hoof, and wing?
God, she wasn't some man-eater! She stepped back, tucking her chin in and looking away from him and then back up again. Her smile turned softer, not so snarky--though snark was her second language--and she hesitated when he spoke. A guardian--the words, and the way he spoke them, sent a shiver down her spine.
Not like she needed guarding. Well...there WAS that kalona she pissed off the other day, but that was nothing to worry about. Right? Her pulse jumped, an unnatural beat. "Well then, Imriel Cassiel," she said softly, using his full name. "Pleased to meetcha... Do you have business to attend...or could I become your business?" Her grin grew wider. She meant nothing funny about it, rather... She hadn't had a flying partner in a long while.
She wondered if he was too proud to race... Wondered what she could weasle out of him if she were to bet, and win.

Lavender orbs traveled over the mare, following the dark dabbling on her front legs that blended into a dark pair of socks, before his eyes followed the lighter shade that curved down her hip and into longer back socks of a much paler shade.
He swallowed hard, as he followed the trail back up and found the warm, honey golden gaze of her eyes on him, his ears twitched back slightly.
"Please, just call me Imriel, it seems less...formal." He seemed unsure of the social acceptance or what was proper now. "And it is a ...pleasure to meet you Miss Rixton." He said with a bow of his head. He glanced around, waiting for an elder to appear, or to call him but none did and he found himself looking back at the mare at hoof. He swallowed again at her question, he cleared his throat and using his wings he swept them back and bowed deeply to her.
"I am at your service miss." He wasn't sure what this would entail, or if he had just signed a deal with the devil, but he had been trained and raised to behave on a higher level than most.
