Narisa finally found a few minutes to spare in cleaning up and looking much more presentable. Especially if she was going to be taking Amelia and Sharath around to meet other rider's. One had to at least look businesslike! And she was quite happy to have received word back from a few rider's rather promptly. Her black flit, Callix, was preening with how good he'd done. He'd brought back three quick replies scribbled on a sheaf of paper.

"Cepheith, will you please tell... " she quickly glanced at her own list. "Aeskeluth, Qizixth, and... Mazamath, that we'll be by shortly?" That would give the others time. And she could have Cepheith prod their dragons into getting their rider's prepped for a quick meet and greet sort of thing.

They have been informed, Mine. The golden dragon was happily waiting for her rider to hurry up. Sharath. Mine and I are just about ready. If you and Yours are, come meet us by our weyr. We'll take you to meet the first few potential room mates right away.

A small smile sprang across her lips as she settled a little golden dragon brooch to her shoulder. A gift from someone special. Feeling ready, she gave Callix (and her other flit, Hallow) a treat and slipped out the door to her hut, eyes focused on the list she carried as another name was added to the list.

We should visit Pipith and His later. Cepheith said lightly, a hint of draconic humor in her honey warm tone. That turned to a giggle as her rider's cheeks flushed.

"Ceph!" She groaned, and leaned against the large head that lowered to her level. "Behave, will you?" She smiled, scratching just above Cepheith's eyeridges while they waited for Ameilia and Sharath.

Mine, Cepheith tells us that they are ready for our interviews. Sharath looked up from her dozing to arc her neck gracefully in the direction of the other queen as Amelia paused in her work to wipe her brow of sweat.

"Ready, hm?" She answered and set the stone sample down. Amelia had been casing the resources of the area - the rocks, the wood, and space in general - in the hopes of proposing a development plan. They needed housing and buildings badly.

"Tell her we'll be there momentarily!" She called as she ducked into the vacant Weyrling Barracks to wash up. Amelia had taken over a small work space by the bunks and had scrubbed her clothing well - the non-work clothing she had was simple, utilitarian, and still comfortable. The overalls were clean, crisp, and she looked perfectly at home in them. None of this dresses and skirts nonsense.

Cepheith, Mine shall be there momentarily. Sharath echoed, rising to stretch her limbs and spread her wings in the afternoon sunlight.

When Amelia reappeared, she was refreshed and chipper, clambering up onto Sharath's shoulders with all the gusto of a Weyrling who had just experienced flight. It was among her absolute favourite things about riding a dragon - the flying.

Sharath bounded into the air after a heart beat, her great wings sweeping down and the wind they created kicked up dust in the street where they were. Amelia grinned. It always felt good to ride Sharath.

The gold glided over to Cepheith's weyr, lazily snaking through the air before landing daintily and walking over to deposit her rider.

"You didn't take very long to get people lined up!" She spoke, waving as she approached. "How are you?"

Narisa looked over herself, making sure her clothes were clean enough to be escorting someone around the Weyr. It was in her nature to appear clean and respectable, a habit she had not been able to shake since her time in the vintnercraft. Pants in a dark brown with boots a few shades darker were paired with a light blue blue blouse. And a gold sash was tied about her waist to add a little flare.

Stop fretting. Cepheith rumbled, slowly rising to her feet and giving her rider a bump with her nose. Excellent! We shall be waiting. She added to Sharath.

"I'm not fretting!" Narisa tried to argue, but the look Cepheith gave her clearly said she didn't believe her. Thankfully, they both spotted Sharath and she was saved from anything else her dragon may have said. Cepheith crooned welcomingly and dipped her head in greeting to Sharath. Narisa grinned. "I've got some nice people willing to take on a roommate! And they all were... a little excited at the idea so the replies came quickly." She laughed a little. "And I am ready for a nice slow evening. That is for sure. How have things been going for you since we left?"

I believe you'll quite enjoy the dragons and their rider's we've gotten replies back from. Cepheith said with a grin to the smaller gold.

"Well, if you're both ready, I think... we'll go meet Az'rin and Qizixth first. They were the closest." Narisa checked her list. "We can walk there. The two were just finishing up a meal and should be waiting near the dining hall." Az'rin had also been the most nervous, so she didn't want to make the poor guy wait too long.

Sharath crooned back in greeting, immensely pleased by Cepheith's pleasant greeting. Arching her neck happily, she settled into a comfortable position, tossing her head in approval that the applicants were excited - they should be! Amelia was both an amazing person and a goldrider! Sharath could think of no better combination. I'm am looking forward to meeting them. Sharath grinned back, clearly in a good mood.

Amelia nodded, "Pleasantly, actually. Not too bad - we've been assisting in the rebuilding, mostly, to get to know people and keep busy." She smiled, "We're both ready! I haven't heard of Az'rin, though... I suppose I need only wait a few moments, hey?" She turned, heading towards the dining hall.

Sharath rose as well, ruffling her wings in such a way it reminded Amelia of someone smoothing their shirt and pants before a big meeting.

"Anything I should know?" Amelia asked, glancing at her friend.

Narisa grinned. She was glad to hear things had been going well since she left. "So you still think you're gonna be up to the task of helping with our housing problem?" She teased lightly. And then laughed a little. "That is correct! I don't know him on any personal level, but from what I have glimpsed and heard, he's a little shy. But a very sweet gentleman. I believe he is a recent refugee from Malvren." Willing to work though, she had also been told. And he cared very much for dragons.

"So aside from that, I think you and I will both just have to be equally surprised!"

Cepheith shook herself to rid any stiff limbs, wings unfurling and then settling back against her back. She waited for Sharath to join her before following along behind Theirs. Qizixth. Mine and Sharath's, who we wish for you to meet, are coming. Please let yours know.

There was a hesitant pause before a response came. Y-Yes my Queen! We are r-ready. We'll be r-right outside.

Just outside the dining hall, the chubby young man and his large blue stood awkwardly. Az'rin was nervous. Okay that was totally an understatement. He was terrified! Trine's jr. weyrwoman had contacted him, asking how would feel about a potential roommate. He and Qiz hadn't been at Trine for very long now, so he appreciated the goldrider asking. He'd told her he would be happy enough to have one! What he hadn't expected was for that potential roommate to be a goldrider too!

Thus, he was terrified.

It's okay, Rinmine. I-I do not think Cepheith's would pair us with anyone w-we wouldn't like?

Az'rin just swallowed and shifted his weight from foot to foot, spotting the gold dragons approaching. And their rider's.

"I think so!" She cracked her knuckles, "It's a chance to stretch my Craft's muscles I haven't had in a long time. There's something to be said for honest physical labour." Amelia arched a brow at Az'rin's description, "Shy but sweet.... hopefully I don't scare him off then. I'm hardly a dainty wallflower."

A few moment later they drew up to the dining hall, Sharath tossing her head as she looked over the blue, appraising him. The appraisal lasted but a minute before she whuffed and plodded over to greet the smaller male, a bit of a bounce in her step. Greetings! I am Sharath and Mine is Amelia. I believe Mine and I are meeting you and Yours about being room mates. Be assured Mine would be an excellent room mate.

Amelia smiled as her dragon approached the blue in a friendly manner. She had always gotten along with the other colours... it was just fellow golds she got prickly with. Thankfully.

Disinclined to overwhelm the rider, Amelia approached with Narisa and waited to be introduced, her posture confident but easy going. "Hello! Pleasure to meet you! I'm told you haven't been at Trine very long either so thank you for meeting with us, I appreciate it!"
