 The sun had finally set and the moon rose high above the earth. Erebos glanced up at the sky over head and admired the stars for a moment before he set out. As his hooves fell upon the earth he listened for sounds distant from his own movements and looked for bodies separate from his own. He saw the occasional bat out hunting for snacks in flies and fruits, he only hoped he could beat them to the fruits. He began to trot a bit across the clearing.

 Nova had been flying ever since sunset had come upon him. His goal was to get just a little further. Even as darkness fell upon him he didn't mind. Bats joined him in flight. His gaze moves across the ground as he spots a black shadow? What or who is that? Deciding to investigate he descends and lands on the ground into a run and halts not to far from what became an azerin." Hello."

Erebos quickly slowed to a halt when he heard the sound of flapping wings larger than that of a bat's. He looked up and followed the descending Stallion to the earth with his eyes. Seeing the Azrein approach him, he did the same and nodded his head in acknowledgement to the other. "Hello." He whispered and tilted his head to the side. "How are you this evening?" He said unsure of what to make of this new stranger.

Nova blinks as the other comes closer to him. Grinning he nods in return." I am doing decent. A bit chilly, but than again. Winter is coming." He tilts his head and neck slightly to one side." Oh my! Is that a spider by your wing? Is it your companion?"

Erebos chuckled a bit. "Yes, it's even colder higher up in the air." He chuckled. When the other made a note of the small white spider he lifted his wing a bit and took a look at the small critter himself. It quickly took to hiding within the feathers and he chuckled a bit. "I suppose he is." He shook his head a bit. "I've tried leaving him in a safe place, but he always manages to find his way back." he chuckled a bit and shook his mane before looking back at the stranger. "I'm Erebos, by the way."

Nova nods."Yes.. closer to the sky.. colder it gets." Chuckling he watches the spider." A companion is always nice.. I sometimes fly with the birds.. Or the bats.. They don't seem to mind too much." He sways slightly more out of not doing anything with his feet." Nova.. Mine's Nova."

Erebos nodded his head. "Nice to meet you, Nova." He said. "I was actually going to find some fruits before the bats found them all, would you like to join me?" He asked, he figured a little bit of company would not be a bad idea. With the exception of his little spider, Erebos often ate alone.

Nova nods his head and blinks at the invitation." You mean like apples?" Ears pricking forward he thinks about it." I don't see why not. I could use a snack."

Erebos chuckled a bit at the Stallion's response and he nodded, walking towards and then past the other, grinning back at him. "Yes, like apples. Now, keep up." He said and suddenly took off. "We don't want the bats taking away all the good ones." He laughed a bit.

Grinning he runs off after the male." No we certainly wouldn't want that!" Laughing with delight at the company and the feeling of the wind against his face. It isn't long before he is running beside the other stallion.
