A large archway at the base of the mountain which leads into a massive tunnel system. It is often guarded by solid stone golems, various of Lucian's soldiers, or stone dragons.

Lucian walked up to the massive archway unsure if Bella had followed him the entire way. He didn't really care either. On either side of the archway stood three massive stone golems, twice the size and build of any man. However they were nothing but stone. Whatever magic and life they had once held must have faded centuries ago. Lucian could fix that. He could easily restore them and he would. Taking a few steps forward the new King stopped just outside the archway waiting for Bella.

Not too far behind, Lady Nighshade floated within the depths of the shadow realms that allowed her to portal where she needed to go. For most of the trip, for once, she hadn't made a sassy comment, or much of one at all, opting instead to go throughout the place where she was, and the shadowy depths. Eventually however, they had finally reached the destination.
Bella Donna's eyes widened in pure shock at the size of the entryway. Now THIS was what she considered interesting and original. Golems stood at the edges. She landed on the ground and strutted slowly, her heels making prominent clicks as she looked around the place. So this was the place he choose? This is ********. She thought to herself.
She stepped up to Lucien, not really needed to crane her neck too far as her boots made her tall enough as is. "So you sent angel boy away. Do I have a job yet?" she asked him curiously, unsure of whether to enter ahead and not give a damn, or let Lucien lead the way. She then looked into the depths of the entrance, golden eyes focusing as her darkness reached out, sensing for more, calculating the next five steps ahead as per usual for her.

Lucian walked over to one side of the massive arch silently. The arch looked impressive but it was also a slight weakness due to size. Large creatures could enter it. Then again, large creatures could defend it. With a little work from some stonemasons and magic wielders, perhaps Lucian could commission the construction of a stone dragon. The golems were a strong defense as it was, and any people who were stationed here to regulate the flow of people in and out of the mountain would certainly be enough to protect the entrance from most foes, however a stone dragon had an added intimidation factor. It could be done, and under Lucian's guidance, it would be done.
Lucian set one hand on the wall and closed his eyes. One thing he could feel and manipulate was kinetic energy. That was how he had stopped Gyokuen from escaping the blast, that was how he had frozen his son in place so he could be stabbed. Now if he just put a little of it out. His and on the wall began to vibrate at such a quick speed that the outline of his hand became blurry and then he saw it. The kinetic energy spreading throughout the inter workings of the massive mountain city. He saw it all, even the forest behind them. Then in another moment it was gone. He never detected any life from inside the mountain. If something had been here before, it was gone now. Then Lucian turned to Bella. "I sent Grim away because there was a use for you. When I find one for you, you will be told of it. Until then, try to enjoy your new home. " With that Lucian turned and stepped inside the archway. His mistake because as he did the golems who had stood in idle ruin began to glow. More accurately various symbols carved into their stone began to glow. Symbols that matched the ones lining the archway. No life from inside though, this must have been the last push from the old magic inside this place. Lucian was not threatened. He put out his hand and the glowing ceased. He leeched away the magic that had been in them. When he deemed it fit he would restore life to the golems.

Penny had traveled a good distance with the beast that Ixio had left with her. Of course she had ended up somewhere completely unplanned and unfamiliar. The beast was right beside her of course and provided some comfort. " C-come on Shocky lets go find Ixio. " Penny whispered the words to the creature right by its ear. Raiju had allowed her onto its back. Penny had managed to weasel her way into the creatures heart as well. The two began to walk and look around as if they were searching for something. Well, that was just before reaching the entrance of the mountain. A stray creature jumped from shrubbery attacking the two. Penny was thrown off of Raiju as it turned to attack the creature. When she hit the ground and rolled about a foot her arms and elbows were scrapped up along with a few new holes in the arms of her dress. " Shocky...! Ixi! IXI!" Tears welled up in her eyes as Raiju fought the strange creature that had launched a surprise attack.
" Shocky! " Penny yelled once more as she ran between the two creatures. The beast summoned by Ixio skidded to a halt as the other creature continued to move forwards. " Go away! GO AWAY! " Her voice was quivering with fear as she pushed her hands out in front of her. The utter terror that she felt had pulled enough of her aerther nature forward to draw lightning from Raiju and to strike the creature down after channeling the electrical energy unintentionally through her arms. The beast reduced to ash before her eyes. Penelope only stood there with wide eyes full of a fear three tiers beyond shear terror.
Raiju had no problems returning Penny to its back. Her hands were blackened wish ash and light burns from the untrained ability being used subconsciously. The two continued on their way towards the mountain entrance. " Ixio! Where are you? I-X-I-O!" Her voice was shaky as she called out for the familiar face. She continued to call out the same between sobs and tears that streamed down her cheeks. Her gaze fixing on her hands which were trembling about as fast as her heart was racing. She could see two figures up ahead. They both made the fear she was already feeling shoot through the roof. Her big green eyes had to be the size of saucers despite her attempts to put on a brave face and stop her crying. "Ixio!"She swallowed her words nervously as the distance close between Penny and the two strangers.

Ixio picks up on the energy of his master. With great haste he soars to a vast mountain region. As he gets closer he sees Penny and two other figures. He lands next to Penny as she calls for him. What are you doing here Penny? How'd you get all he way here? He pats her on her head. Stay close with me ok Penny. Turning he sees his master and approaches the man and bows. Lord....Lord Lucian Ive final come at last. I've longed awaited your return. I've been watching over your tomb and kept your secrets safe. If you'll have me, I act as your blade & shield. As long as I live no one will bring harm to you. He turns to look at Penny playing with the raiju. I just ask that you guarantee her safety. If you can do that I'll do any everything you ask.

As Lucian turned back towards the interior of the massive archway he heard two new voices from behind. He often considered new things a threat and so as he turned to face the both of his swords appeared in his hands. When he saw the child the grip on his swords tightened. It wasn't that he saw a child and had an immediate urge to kill it, the problem was that children were the most effective weapons. No one expected a child to have any real power and that gave them all the power. Lucian never made that mistake. When the second man came, this Ixio, his words did not put Lucian's mind at ease. His tomb? He had a tomb? Lucian was not aware of anything that he been made for him since his death. He had died on a different world in a different realm. His entire planet had been reduced to ash. His having a tomb was.... interesting. He would have to investigate that later as well as retrieve his soul. As for his secrets... If Ixio knew them, it would be a problem. He preferred keeping his motives hidden. He preferred that no one really know what happened to his wife. He could easily barrow Nine's powers again and wipe the man's memory but that would require he see his son again so soon. He did not want that.
After a period of debate the swords vanished and Lucian left his defensive stance. "Serve well, do as I bid you, and we will make a world where you don't have to worry about her safety. We will make a world where murder is considered. A world where no one seeks to harm each other either out of fear or loyalty to me."

The word sounded so unfamiliar to the amythyst skinned woman that she almost felt like she was speaking a foreign tongue. She shook off the feeling as she looked at the archways, following Lucien in. Before she could warn him about the collosal stone beasts glowing, the mysterious man had already sucked the force out of it. Or that's how Bella Donna percieved it as.
Before she could react however, she too heard a child's voice and turned around. Now for the Lady Nightshade, the factor of nightmares abou creepy little girls was something that was always a sort of thing she steeled herself against, and her tendrils came out until she saw the little nugget calling somebody's name. Before she knew it, this... Ixio person came through. He looks delicious enough. She thought as she looked back at Lucien.
The man had finished summoning his swords and thought for a moment. She was still getting used to the fact that she didn't have a job yet, which made her question why. After all, she was perfectly capable to complete a job, she was a weapon. But perhaps her abilities were not needed. And any rest Bella could get, she would gladly take without a complaint. She looked back at Ixio and the girl, Penny. "Hey yo, a*****e?! Is that your nugget over there? And why is she crying?" she asked out loud.
Even with Bella Donna's ******** up sense of moral code, that almost extinguished, maternal pang slowly ebbed at the darkness, to which she promptly vanquished. Little kids being hurt in the fray? She wouldn't adhere to that. The little nuggets were helpless after all.This particular nugget Bella decided would annoy her, for the sake of getting her job done. But damn, the little fluff was too cute.
Bella floated upward, looking around at her surroundings. "So this is where you want to build?" she asked Lucien curiously. She was already getting restless, but she didn't want a job quite yet. "And... do I get a room?" she asked him while flitting about, studying the very large space they were in.

Penelope's eyes lit up when Ixio arrived on the scene. He did not even get the chance to question her before she hugged him tightly. " I was looking for you! Shocky brought me here! " Penny looked up at Ixio with a large smile on her face as she spoke. There was no denying that the kid was happy to see him at all. The waterworks seemed to miraculously shut off but there was still some sense of fear visible in her eyes as she glanced at the other two. Her eyes narrowed a little bit as she made her professional "never" wrong assessment of them. The big mad with the scary swords is a lord...whatever that means. OH! He must be a king... She stared at Lucien for a moment before turning her gaze to Belladonna. She had weird wavy arms for a minute but now she is really pretty. Oh! She must be a super hero too!
The puzzled feeling that overcame Penny became evident on her face as she continued to look between the three of them. It was clear that the child was wanting to say something but since the adults were talking she had to wait. She was even curious about some of what was being said simply because she didn't understand it. Then once the silence fell the little blonde raised her hand up after wiping the dirt and ash off on her dress. " Can I speak? Please? I have questions I wanna ask!" Her chipper tone ceased as she pointed to Lucian. " So you guys are superheroes like Ixio? Does that mean he's the king since he is a... er...Lord? Whats a lord? I don't know but he must be real important and strong if hes the king." Her fleeting attention shifted to Ixio as she inquired about what exactly a lord was but her attention was short lived as she looked to Belladonna.
It was for a split moment that one could see a bit of awe in the big green eyes that Penny had. " She must be a superhero too! She cared that I was sad because you were gone Ixi! Gosh! Im real lucky to meet you guys! " Penny hopped off of the lightning beasts back and took a small step towards Belladonna. " Hi lady! I hope I can be a pretty superhero like you one day. That would be awesome! Then I could help people and beat up bad guys like Bam and Kapow! " Penny even made fake punching movements and sound effects to match her motions. The kid was lost for a moment playing like she was a superhero before shaking herself back to attention. " I'm Penelope but call me Penny! I'm six! " Her cheerful tone and extension of her hand came quickly as she held it out to be shaken.
Penny was beyond oblivious to the situation at hand and just how much trouble she could potentially be in. Ixio was there so in her mind she was safe. Then it hit her, something that Belladonna had said to Ixio. Punctually she turned her head towards him. " Ixio, whats an a*****e? Why did she call you one? Can I be an a*****e too? "

"Bella, your forgetting their is a child present. Mind your manners." Lucian spoke referring to her language. He had heard what the little girl said, all of it and to avoid her being further exposed to Bella Donna's natural language he made and attempt to keep her polite. "And yes you shall be given a room. It is a large mountain, on one side I will build barracks for the soldiers. That is where your room will be. Unless you would prefer to live in the city which shall also be commissioned and built." With her questions answered, Lucian turned his attention from Bella Donna to the two new ones who had come to the mountain.
The child's innocence did not anger Lucian thought it should have. Being referred to as a superhero did bother him though. He wasn't a hero. None of them were heroes. They would openly opposed both the Doma and the Zaibatsu. They were evil, but not in the same way the Doma was. This world was plagued by war that only they could stop by conquering it all. They were a necessary evil. The kind that would bring the peace heroes dreamed of achieving. Lucian sighed slightly and stepped towards the child. "I am not a lord yet. That is just what they call me. For now I am a revolutionary, tomorrow I am a conquered, and in a short time when formality stands between us, I am Lucian." The old one offered his hand for the child to shake. He didn't care if she did or did not there was a certain standard he had to uphold when it came to speaking to children.
In his final days before his son had killed him and destroyed his entire planet Lucian had not cared. He had been willing to murder billions of innocent men, women, and children across all the realms so that he could bring peace. But as time changed so had his plans. Death brought only one enlightenment, sooner or later everything ended and something knew began. The time would come where Lucian's rule ended and a child took his place. Children had to be taught and molded for they were the future of his empire. He could not simply remove them anymore.

Im Grim La Roux, what is your name lil one? But before hearing an answer he notice the other and figure and is immediately excited. Well I be damned, if it isn't Ixio Aklar. Long time no see old friend!? He turns to Lucian. This is Ixio Aklar, the Lightning Demon Emporer. His realm was destroyed by the angels and I helped in his escape.  Dameon exited the portal and was surprised to see people on the other side. He was not expecting there to be people on the other side let alone at this ancient kingdom. He examined each person present aside from the angel he had arrived with and noted that the group seemed a bit odd to say the least. A small child on a....a tiger? A succubus and what looked like a demon and a human.
He let out a groan. "You damned reaper. You spoke so highly of this Lucien guy so where is he? All I see are a pathetic human, a Succubus reject, a kid and her pet tiger and a Demon. So tell me where this Lucien is." Dameon said with some annoyance in his tone.

"Shi--I mean yes. Sorry. Sorry." Bella apologized, sighing in exasperation when she tried to stop herself from cursing again. "And barracks? I guess it's a step up from where they kept me before. Ugh." she noted to him as she looked over at the little girl. By little girl, Bella thought little nugget, as she just seemed so full of life. She could see no darkness within this girl, only a small light source, but that would change overtime. Not that Bella cared really, at least she would tell herself that.
She looked down at Penny, and before she could even try to think of something to hate her, the little girl had complimented Bella, calling her pretty. Now, while Bella normally didn't surround herself around kids, she could be terribly vain. Thus, the nugget was deemed acceptable in her prescience, though she would have to reign in on the darkness powers on her end, lest she accidentally overfill the tiny child. She was only six years old. At first, Bella hesitated, but then she reached out her hand, shaking the tiny girl's. "Bella. Twenty-one. But I guess to you I must be grandma." she say drying, chuckling a bit.
Bella Donna looked up from Penelope, golden eyes reguarding Grim again before turning to look at the other man. "And apparently, everybody here has a terrible back-story." she said out loud, just regarding the other person. She wouldn't even have time to react before a third person exited the portal. His words immediately hit a nerve in Bella.
"You mother--" she looked back down at Penny and thought for a moment. Finally she looked over at Lucien. "I'm not sorry." she stated first as she covered the little girl's ears with her own hands. "Hey, do me a favor you lil nugget. Hum as loud as you can." she advised before looking back up. "You know, you got some goddamn nerve to come the ******** in here like some hot s**t! Who the ******** do you even think you are?! And don't.... don't even try to sit here and act like you're god's ******** gift to earth. You will WISH I was a succubus if you keep this up." she growled out, thinking of the first thing she would do. Rip off the hideous face scarf, yes. That would suffice.
She finally let go of Penny's ears and stood up, her heels putting her at nearly six feet, and she put both hands on her hips, a smirk across her features. The picture of sin, Lady Nightshade simply looked back at Lucien. "You got some strange friends honeybunches. And some RUDE ones." she snarked, looking back at Dameon.

Lucian observed Grim as he left the portal. For the first few seconds disappointment crossed the old one's face. He did not see Dameon and had assumed Grim had failed. However his expression returned to the same passive and careless expression it normally was when Dameon came through the portal behind Grim. However Dameon had an attitude that he was not expecting, perhaps he should have expected it. Either way he would not stand for it. Lucian stood up and walked past the child he had been addressing. He opened his mouth to speak when instead Bella's voice broke out from behind him. She continued to go off on the new man and Lucian allowed it. When Bella addressed Lucian he let her speak a little more before putting a hand up in a simple motion that meant "shut it".
"You forget Bella I have been dead for the last few millennia. It was not my choice to have... well basically a cult guarding whatever tomb they believed I was in." Lucian motioned to Ixio then continued "I have odd allies, not friends. No one here has earned that yet." After speaking to Bella Lucian turned to Grim "Then I will hold your responsible for any of his actions. You claim to be his friend and evidently you recommend his service. Should he betray me, it will be your head as well." Having addressed those he had met earlier Lucian turned to Dameon who had displayed far more independence than Lucian would like to allow this early in his rise. Taking a step forward he spoke.
"I am Lucian and I am far from a human but seeing as you are too young to know what I am I will pardon that transgression. However you are now in my land and I alone reserve the right to raise my voice so you will respond to those who serve me in a manner more befitting the civilized people I seek to lead."

Penelope puffed out her cheeks as the adults were speaking. She really couldn't wrap her mind around it all at the moment. It all just seemed to so serious and it made her uncomfortable. She was about to shake Lucian's hand when he offered but was quickly distracted when more people arrived. Her eyes grew wide as she looked them over one of them had wings and the other one was kind of scary looking. Her big green eyes lit up once more when the one with wings introduced himself. " Nice t'a meet you Grim! Penny smiled widely. "I am Penelope! Call me Penny though!" She reached out for his hand to shake it but instead accidentally grabbed a hold of Grim's wing. Her eyes grew to the size of saucers again, Wow! They're real! She whispered mentally as a faint glow resonated off her hand followed by a burning sensation as her element of Aether. The glow shifted between the colors of the rainbow before setting on a shimmery wave of all the colors. Penny immediately backed away in fear and held her hand to her chest pouting. "Ow...s-scary." The words slipped out of her mouth but scary wasn't the right term. It was just that the death associated with Grim's abilities were more tied to the Nether element.
Penny turned just in time to be greeted by Bella. It put a smile on her face as Bella commented on being old simply because she found it funny that she thought that. "You aren't old! Grandpa monk was old! He was eleventy-six [116] years old!" Her wide smile remained as Bella shook her hand. The woman had pulled back her powers so it wasn't a complete shock to the little girl but she still shivered. Penny kept her hand that had touched grim to her chest as she looked up at Bella. "Y-you're cold Bella." Penny mumbled quietly as the shimmery glow around her hand became present on the one Bella was touching but it faded once Penny released. It was not a moment later that Penny hugged Bella as best she could and as tightly as she could. The glow didn't return this time but it was definitely an Aether aura for anyone that took the time to read it.
Penny continued to listen to those around her. She had yet to let Bella go from her hug despite Raijou's attempts to pull the small girl back by the base of her dress. Her green eyes focused on Lucian once more as he seemed to be giving out orders and information. " I wanna help! I wanna help too!" She grinned and allow Bella out of her child-sized bear hug. She was listening and awaiting a reply as she scrambled back onto Raijou's back where truth-be-told she felt safest waiting to see what happened.
