Honestly, Megrez did not consider patrolling to be a part of her dream date. She was hoping for something a bit sweeter and more peaceful, like dinner at a nice restaurant that she could get all gussied up for. But Megiddo and Penthesilea were the bosses of this operation, and if patrolling was what usually got them fired up, then so be it. She went to meet them at the rendezvous point, practically giddy from excitement over seeing them again. She checked the time on her phone over and over again, honing her senses carefully to detect a second and third-rank aura (third rank, Megrez had to remember that Penthe had gotten an upgrade) approaching. They wouldn't stand her up after all this time, would they? Nah.

Megiddo met up with Penthesilea first, because if they were going to add a number tres to their duo, she wanted to hang out with her girlfriend first. Especially when her girlfriend had gone and gotten all great and powerful on her. "Okay, this?" the squire asked, running a gloved finger over one of the glowing lines on Penthesilea's stomach. She traced the outline of the scar left by Avalon's sword. "This I like." Her curiosity about Penthesilea's brand-spanking-new glowing tattoo show was almost enough to make her say, you know what, let's forget Megrez, I want to take you home right now and find out just how far this situation goes. But she'd been promised murder and also, if things went well, a threesome, and Megiddo was nothing if not ruled by her appetites. (Those being, of course, sex and violence.) "But I'll get a better look at them later," she added. "I hope you've practiced your strip-tease." So where was she? Oh, right, better not leave Megrez hanging. "You know, she said she just wanted to hold us and never let us go when she asked about the date?" Megiddo asked Penthesilea. She laughed. "I told her, I do a whole lot more with you than just hold you. Should we make a bet? Is she gonna chicken out?" It was kind of cute how punctual Megrez was, already waiting for the pair of them to arrive. If Megiddo were in her position... actually, she probably would have been on time, too, or else risk looking un-eager. "Hey," she called as she and Penthesilea made their approach. "Ready for the best night of your life?" It was a tone of voice that very strongly suggested, you are so getting laid, I swear to god, we are all so totally getting laid.

Meeting Megiddo before they both went to meet Megrez had been a very good decision, because if there was anything Penthe enjoyed about this whole "human glowstick" thing, it was having her girlfriend very clearly enjoy the lines that had painted themselves over her skin.
"I do make this look good, don't I?" She said, a thoroughly pleased smile on her face. "Don't worry, I've got gettin' outta this fancy new fuku all figured out," which, really, she didn't, but there wasn't exactly much to get out of, surely she could figure it out on the fly with the attentions of two very, very hot girls encouraging her.
And it was going to be two, once they caught up with Megrez, assuming the new member of their little arrangement didn't balk. "I ain't expectin' chickenin' out, I'm expectin' passin' out." She admitted as they walked, which seemed a perfectly fair expectation because she was pretty sure Megrez was the most virginal virgin she had ever laid eyes on. And that included nuns.
She swept over to Megrez when they arrived, planting a kiss on the other girl's cheek. "I promise, we'll make this plenty'a fun for you, darlin'."

Finally, the other two came, and Megrez might have started glowing from sheer excitement. "You came!" she nearly squealed, and then nodded vigorously at Megiddo. "Oh, you bet! I am so ready." She had no real idea what was going to happen on or after patrolling, but it was going to be good, right? It had to be. Penthe's kiss on the cheek made her giggle like the giddy schoolgirl she was, and she returned the favor. Shifting her weight impatiently from foot to foot, she immediately began calling for the fun to start. "So, what do we do first? Just walk around town till we find something, or did you guys find anything on the way here, or...?"

"God, you're right," said Megiddo, her voice dipping into levels of vocal fry previously unknown to man. "She's gonna get the vapors. One flash of tit and it'll be faint city." Which sort of made her look forward to this even more? Like, it would be a really, really great story to tell later. And maybe once they roused Megrez again, she'd be a much chiller lay. "You're gonna have to help me with this dress, then," said Megiddo, flexing her shoulders. "I think there's a bunch of tiny buttons up the back? But, like, it's not something I've made a habit of investigating. Or, like, I can turn back into boring civilian me and you can check out my day-of-the-week panties. They're cute. I swear to god, you will look at them and be all like, oh my god, Keren, you're the cutest girl I have ever in my life gone down on." But anyway, like, here they were, and Megrez looked super giggly and s**t like that but she hadn't passed out yet... not that Megiddo was expecting her to swoon on them until later in the evening, if she didn't balk at the sight of a little blood. "No, babe," she said. "We didn't find something on the way over. But that's what aura sensing's for." Honestly, she had no idea how Gunn got by with being s**t at it. "So, like, we're gonna wander around until we find something that feels evil, and then we're gonna kill it dead. It'll be fun." She stuck out her arms, joining elbows with Penthesilea on one side and Megrez on the other. "Don't tell me you're chicken, ducky."

Penthesilea wanted to laugh. Megrez was adorable, there was really no other word for her. But tonight, Megrez was her date, and maybe that wasn't the best idea.
"They'll come lookin' for me," she said, "even if we don't find 'em first." She got the understanding that Senshi like her felt extra clean, extra pure - and it was enough of a difference that officers were interested. Penthesilea was fond of being interesting, and being a beacon to lure in the evening's entertainment was good enough.
"My aura," she said, out loud, as an explanation.

"At this point? Not chicken at all. I don't know if you got the text I sent you after I killed that captain, or if Penthe told you how she found me after, but it was pretty messy. I'm used to messy at this point." When Penthesilea mentioned her aura, Megrez paused for a moment to focus on it. "You're right. It does feel different. This is gonna sound weird, but it almost feels like... Ganymede. She's got the funny glowing thing going on, too." Happily arm-linked to Megiddo, she took a tiny tugging step forward to urge everyone along. "Well, even if they can feel Penthe's aura, they might not want to come too close to an Eternal, a Super, and a Squire. We should get moving."

Megiddo gave Penthesilea a sidelong glance. Of course she'd noticed her girlfriend's aura felt strange, but she'd likened it more to Babylon than whoever Ganymede was - personally, she doubted Ganymede was even half as hot as the girl standing beside her. "I don't know about Ganymede, but there's this knight I know, he's got some weird glowy s**t going on, too," she said. "Feels a bit along the same lines, except, you know, different, because of the knight thing? Anyway, you wear it better." She couldn't really explain how senshi and knight auras differed, just that they did. Anyway, bad guys weren't going to kill themselves, and neither would standing around. Megiddo knew full well that Megrez could kill - after all, she'd bought her a cupcake to mark the occasion - but it was time to be less talk and more walk. "Come on," she said, gesturing for the other two to follow her. The squire held her pitcher in front of her chest, her hands wrapped around the neck rather than the handle - it gave her better leverage for hitting people with it. "Come out, come out!" she sang softly, scanning the rooftops. A chaos signature glittered in the darkness up ahead. "There's a senshi up there," she said softlly. "Dark mirror. Just a little one, I think. Do you want to go for it, or are we hunting bigger game?" Supers, she thought, tasting blood. Captains. Maybe even a general.

Ganymede, yes, she remembered Ganymede from their little confrontation around Castor and Pollux's murders. And this Knight -- she'd have to find him, too. She filed both of those facts away. They were things for later, when she wasn't out with her girls and hunting Chaos prey.
She grit her teeth a little at the thought of killing a Dark Mirror. Ever since her memories of that terrible future had returned, she was less inclined to want to antagonize the Court - they had proven themselves to be allies to Order, and she couldn't even claim that for her future self. Feeling the Negaverse's corruption had done a good job of convincing her they were the greater evil by far.
"Bigger prey. Negaverse prey. One baby Dark Mirror against th'three of us? No challenge." She said. "In my dreams we'd find one'a their senshi, but I'll take an officer."

Megrez shared Penthesilea's consternation about attacking a Dark Mirror Senshi, to say the least. If someone looked closely at her, they might have seen her go pale. (She still remembered being screamed at by Chariklo. Remembered it very well.) "Yeah," she said, somewhat haltingly. "One little Dark Mirror versus three of us? We'd tear her apart. There'd be nothing to it. I agree with Penthe that we should stick to the Negaverse for now- the higher-ranked, the better. Though I think a captain or two might be best, or even Corrupt Super Senshi. Generals could be too much." She remembered also how Mica nearly killed her when she was a baby basic senshi. Even once she reached Eternal, she would probably still be wary of going after Generals for any reason (despite the possibility of putting an end to someone important). Her gaze shifted off to the left. "What about... over there? Something might be over there, I think. Negaverse something."

"Ugh," said Megiddo, rolling her eyes. "Chaos is chaos," she told her companions, but went along with their insistence that they leave the dark mirror scout alone. Penthesilea was right - three of them against one basic scout would be a waste of an evening. They could do better - she likewise would have liked to take on a corrupt negaverse senshi, but she'd settle for an officer. The dark mirror senshi would have to wait for her date with the cauldron. "It's a captain," she said, turning her focus towards Megrez's indication. Megiddo had spent enough time making up for the fact that Gunn couldn't sense worth s**t that she felt confident in her abilities as an accurate judge. "It's a captain," she repeated, reaching for Megrez and Penthesilea's hands to drag them towards the signature "And we're gonna kill it."

A Captain. Yes, that sounded much more like her speed. Pin him between the three of them, end him before he could be promoted and become a General and threaten them all. So she was all too happy to let Megiddo drag them, and she carefully considered the value of her new magic. It was probably not as good choice, here, unless he had a squad of friends - so sticking to her lower-level spells would be just as beneficial.
"B'tween the three of us? Poor b*****d'll have no idea what hit 'im," she said. And killing with her two favorite ladies was certain to make the whole adventure even more exciting. There wasn't much better than murderous foreplay, after all.

It was all Megrez could do to keep from saying something about 'Chaos is Chaos." She had seen for herself that not all Chaos was made the same. She won out over her urge, however, and she let Megiddo drag her along. "A Captain sounds good to me. We should keep quiet till we get to him... her... it." Perhaps the enthusiasm of the ladies around her was contagious, but Megrez found herself becoming legitimately excited for what was coming up. Granted, she was more excited for the opportunity to get smoochy-smoochy with Megiddo and Penthesilea than the actual battle, but she would get there eventually. One thing had to be done at a time.

Megiddo personally didn't see the point of keeping quiet. Between the three of them, their signatures added up to quite the glittering beacon - anyone with half a brain would notice them coming, whether or not he could hear them. Subtlety and stealth were not on their side and she wasn't going to even pretend that it was. "This way," the squire urged, tugging Megrez and Penthesilea along, up towards the roof. It was always a roof, she thought, unless, of course, it was an alley... or the park. Chaos was just so predictable. The only reason she wasn't going to bet on him having some poor drunk girl with him was because this piece of nega-scum was sulking around on the skyline, and - at least in her experience - they preferred to keep their prey closer to its source. "All night long," she sang, to no particularly recognizable tune, "I'm fighting chaos and shitty rape metaphooooors." She did not finish the song. It was doubtful that she even knew more of the song than what she had just sung - and Megiddo was, by no means, a particularly good singer, just an enthusiastic one. A moment later, they came upon the captain. His uniform was tightly tailored along classic continental military lines, trimmed in blue and gold. He appeared to be taking a smoke break. Megiddo dropped arms with the senshi at her side. "Those things will kill you," she announced, calling her pitcher to hand. "Eventually. We're going to kill you first."

Penthe put a hand on her hip and looked the Captain up and down. "See, Megiddo, darlin', now that you've said it I wanna find a way t'kill him with th'cigarette." She grinned a feral, predatory grin, and the Captain actually took half a step back, dropping his cigarette in a panic. His eyes skipped between the three of them and for a moment, he seemed to consider of running was a good option.
"Come on, ladies," he said, in a tone that indicated he was generally used to having women listen to him - made a little shaky by nerves, "I'm sure we can work this out!"
Penthe raised an eyebrow.
"Whadda y'all think? Can we work things out with the nice terrified little Captain? 'Cause I'm thinkin' no."
