"Kovu, Kovu no, I have nothing to hide, honestly." Elleth snapped as she turned on her heel to glare at the taller Oblivionite. The other was following her for no reason, and Elleth was quite sure it was because he was worried that she'd hurt herself, or get into trouble that she couldn't get out of. The archer had been sensory blind when he was younger, but now that he was older, his senses had started to sharpen with the beginning appearance of his third eye. Behind him his tail waved lazily in small circles. When he was agitated it would start to curl up like that of a scorpion.
Kovu just shrugged and adjusted the strap that held his quiver, his bow held loosely in one hand. "So? It doesn't mean that I want to do something other than train." He said, a small pout forming on his lips, "Or maybe, just maybe, I want to spend some time with you. You were a mentor to me for a little bit, even though you never sparred with me." He reached out and poked her in the chest, "You were still there and you'll never know, because I'll never admit to it, but you did help me through some rough times."
Elleth frowned but couldn't deny him based on something like that. After all, who was she to dictate what others could and couldn't do. "Fine, tag along if you want. I'm going after Draugur." She said, voice heavy with resignation as she turned towards one of the swamps many entrances. "I didn't find any last night and I don't really expect to find any tonight, so don't get your hopes up okay?"
"Consider my hopes already crushed." Kovu replied, his long legs easily keeping up with the quick pace Elleth had settled in. True to her word, the first two hours of them combing through the swamp turned up nothing, not even the multitude of spider corpses she'd left behind the night prior.
