Daleson fluffed his wings and pranced towards a couple bushes with blue berries on them. His favorite little fruit to eat. After the wonderful time he had with Gansey, his ego was pretty high. Tossing his bangs he picked up a couple berries and started eating them slowly.Enjoying the nice breeze that passed through his locks.

The breeze carried the scent of ripened fruit passing through his nostrils--and despite the fact that he'd rather avoid the sunlight all together (he couldn't help it--he was a night owl at heart), his stomach gave a low rumble. With a grumble of dissatisfaction, Gypsy Winter meandered out of the woods, a half-set of Angeni wings pressed to his sides. He was small for a stallion, lithe and almost feminine. A dancer at heart with a dangerous emo edge. A smirk rose up for a moment--at least until he saw the rainbow griff standing where he knew the fruit was. He paused, hooves falling silent against the ground, as he tried to make up his mind whether to go forwards and confront the other male--obviously male, and look at those claws...--or shimmy back into the woods, unseen. After a moment he puffed out his cheeks, tossed his flop of silver bangs out of his eye, and slinked closer with a sway to his hips.

Daleson's ceynei ears flicked back and forth as he ate berries. Raising up his wings he stretched out his claws."How refreshing.."He gave a approving sigh.Turning his head side ways,he noticed the male walking towards him.Maybe he wanted a share of berries as well. Flicking his feathered tail,He turned to face the male."Would you like to join me..?" He asked in a calm soothing voice. His red eyes gazed over the stallions markings. He wasn't much like Gansey, but it worked well.

Winter paused, steel-hued eyes flashing as the other male met his gaze--undaunted--and it sent a chill racing down his spine...in a good way. God, get your mind out of the gutter, Winter, he chided himself inwardly, flicking his ears back and ducking his head dolefully in a thanks as he sidled closer. He watched the bigger stallion, curiousity rising up, as he grabbed the closest blueberry--sweet yet tart. "It all depends. Do I have to keep up a conversation if you bore me?" he asked, voice soft but the words behind it harsh. He had the ability to be abrasive even when trying to be nice. Hoof in mouth--again. "Sorry." He glanced away, swished his tail, took another berry.

"No you don't." He smiled. "I don't see how I would bore you." Dale ate a couple more berries. As usua, his presence made another nervous as hell. Its almost as if he was too gorgeous for his own good. Then again he had the most prized beauty within his claws. "Its quite alright." Dale watched the male some more. He...was so nervous and didn't want him to be there it seemed."I mean...if i worry you,I can walk away?" Dale offered in a calm seductive voice.
xx
"You can stay..." Winter eyed him, lips twisting into a half-smile, though wary. Damn him... He wasn't sure he wanted the other to walk away--not yet. His gaze slid down to the claws resting in the grass and dirt, and back up. "Impressive." He cocked his head, noting the feathers. "Like a peacock. Bet all the ladies eat you up, eh?" He snorted soft, brows raised, as he met those ruby eyes again. "I mean--just mean that you're gorgeous--don't take that the wrong way. Gah." Hoof in mouth x2. He looked away. "I'm Winter," he mumbled.

Dale nodded. The silence was fine,he wasn't bothered by it."Thank you." He looked down at his claws as well."Your wings are gorgeous." Dale nodded again and listened.Giving a small laugh,he agreed."Well of course. Why wouldn't they? I do get some males as well."Dale smiled and flicked his tail."Daleson,Its quite the pleasure."

Winter blinked at him, a bit taken aback--his wings... They were...an object of self-loathing, for him. The son of an angel whose interest in bloodshed was...a little bit of a quirk, and not nearly pure enough for the family he was born into. Not that they loved him less-he just loved himself less for it. He flared his wings, tips touching Daleson's face almost in an endearing way without realizing it. "You like them? They're a little... I don't know. Sometimes I wish I'd been born with the wings of a wind. The whole angeni mind-trip kind of takes a toll when you're not a perfect little prince." His words were wry. "Things aren't always rainbows and butterflies, yeah?" He tipped his head to the side. "Sometimes I think being born a kalona might've been simpler. Hn." Daleson... It had a ring to it and when the rainbow stallion mentioned the stallions of his favor, Winter grinned, but it was accompanies with a blush. "I can only imagine. Like I said..." Loosening up a bit, he laughed and tossed his head. "Gorgeous peacock."

Daleson smiled at this wing when it touched his face.Dale reached his own out to raise up the males chin. "You don't need to be perfect." The male nodded slightly."Of course I like them,I like anything that gives a little difference."The male paused and tilted his head."You are fine the way you are, quit being so negative." Dale moved a little closer to him. Dale noticed his blush,Ah there it was. Its something he always got. "Don't worry,You are more then good enough." He bowed for the male and looked in to his eyes.

Winter's blush got deeper as the others' wing touched his chin and he let out another, breathy laugh, suddenly looking uncertain. "Perfect is impossible, after all," he tutted with a small nod, then quieted and went still. The way he was...was different. But...what if different was good. "Do you like different?" he asked quietly, eyes lifting to greet Daleson's gaze. He held himself still. "And should it matter--I mean, if you like different." He lifted a brow. "I mean... I...don't know what I mean. Shooting in the dark here, but..." A quick smile, hesitant and almost weary. "You would be the kind of stallion that...would make a good friend? If...I were to find a friend, I mean."
xxx
"Of course I like different.Different is beauty." He smiled at the stallions reactions. It was cute."If you would like to be friends,We can." Dale was the type of stallion to be there for his friends, but he was a whoring male. He loved the attention and he loved giving it.Giving the male a rub on the neck he moved away and looked off into the distance. "You should meet my friend." He nodded and looked back to the stallion. "I think she would love to be friends with you..as well." It would be horribly hard to share Gansey, but maybe he could some how make it work out.

A broad, true grin spread across Winter's face, turning it into an almost handsome innocence--like a foal without burdens on his shoulders--the first real smile the half-angeni had given in a long time. "Different IS beauty," he agreed; he'd always agreed. Unfortunately, his style of different was spikes and bones and strange obsessions...like claws. He wasn't aware that he'd leaned into the touch until Daleson pulled away, his absense a void as the rainbow griff seemed to get far away. "A friend?" Hesitation, but more boldness than he'd felt in a long while. He grinned then, wry and almost teasing. "Or perhaps...a girlfriend?" He waggled his eyebrows, then laughed, blushing again. "God, I'm such a ******** up," he mumbled under his breath, half-exasperated, half-amused. It was true--he was a ******** but...maybe that could be turned into a good thing. "Then...I'd like to meet her." Having NO idea that this new "friendship" would turn out into something much...different.
