The Zodiac Castle was her sanctuary.

Serenade Soriano might be away from Destiny City, but Princess Chronos made her presence here, rebuilding the ruins of the Castle in an attempt to assuage herself that she had not neglected her duties. She had been furious at Castor's decision to wage war, although when she had calmed down after their conversation, Chronos hadn't been sure that there was anything she could do. To fight against a friend and someone she once considered an ally? Unthinkable.

Even as a Princess, there were many times that she had felt useless.

And so she did mere menial tasks, like attempting to fix the old fountain at the center of the front garden (the garden had been weeded to the best of her ability), but it consisted of her googling how to fix a fountain in the midst of doing homework, and Princess Chronos staring at the fountain with a puzzled expression upon her face, wondering where exactly the water that flowed to the fountain was stored.

It was quite an interesting sight; an old marbled fountain decorated with the symbols and animalistic/humanoid representations of the Zodiac that only trickled out water one drop at a time, and a green-haired princess resplendent with pink butterfly wings squinting at it as if that would somehow magically prompt it to spring back to life once again.

The aura of another didn't quite bother her, though a part of her did wonder who it was since it was clearly not one of the Zodiac Court. Anyone that was an ally of Order was welcome here, and she trusted whoever any of her Court had deemed worthy to step on the Surrounding. It was a peaceful, quiet place... that could do with a working fountain instead of one in ruins-- and... was he speaking to her?

Oh! Cerise eyes blinked as she gazed upon the Senshi clad in white, with twigs and vines interwoven throughout his outfit. Idly, Chronos wondered what Flora would think of a senshi that seemed, at least on first glance, somewhat related to her sphere. But since she was the Lady of the Seasons, in essence, it would be related to hers as well, wouldn't it? It certainly had something to do with nature.

If she lives? Chronos looked slightly perplexed by this, wondering if anyone had deigned to spread falsities about her, though she supposed she couldn't quite blame them. Princess Chronos was indeed absent from Destiny City for quite a period of time. "I am Princess Chronos." She said with a smile and a curtsy. "And who might you be? I apologize; it is hard to keep up with the number of Senshi these days."

She IS Chronos...but her wings-? Memory of the meeting at the Mirror with Cassandra of Tartaros was not lost on him, so Thraen dropped into a well rehearsed and formal Tudor bow. Madrigal and chamber orchestra has afforded him the luxury, so may as well hope that skill could make up for ignorance of identity. "No apologies needed, Princess. I have no honors to the title I bear that I am aware of, and so of little import. I am Thraen of Gardens. Friend to...Aquarius of the Zodiac, of your circle. "

"I need your help. Well, a handful who are working together do, of senshi and knights. I tend towards research and learning, and desperation with few doors left drew me here for answers. I'm sorry to come on you unawares...I've never been to the Surrounding before, and had no knowing of how to contact you save coming and searching bodily. Blind hope that you may be somewhere out here, but it has smiled for once. Could I sit and talk with you a while? Could you tell me about crystals- What the difference is between 'greater crystal' and a regular 'royal crystal'? "




Thraen came carefully closer, to a conversational distance by her. What was Barren Pines? Probably something that could be looked for from other sources regarding details. For now it could remain a hazy example of something accomplished by a greater crystal. "Can someone other than the usual bearer of a greater crystal wield it's magic? "



"What do you know of the Greater Crystals? I've heard of the Marcasite Crystal and Pyrite Crystal of the Black Moon, and The Golden Crystal of Earth and whatever the Moon's Great Crystal was? Are there any other Great Crystals? " She spoke of Nehelenia without hesitations. They must have met, or had some sort of dealings with both their crystals taken by the third party. Did she know Zirconia as well, then? The Mirror Mauvian, Cassandra, 'Helen'- who was Aries? Or was she saying Ares? The trouble of homonyms. He had to stay on track.



So there was a chance of others, but a small chance. It was primarily the same names coming to the fore from each small source he found. "Do you have a regular royal crystal yourself in addition to the Greater Crystal you bear? "



So the one superceded the other? Or consumed it? The exact mechanic could probably wait for other conversation. Hopefully there would be others. "Do you know processes for purifying chaos from a starseed? Have you ever done so? "



Was there some large number of a whole court, these Zodiacs, that were corrupted? When was that and how? Through the stealing of the opal crystal itself? 'Wiseman'..? It isn't a rock sort of name. " Have you ever tried using the power of your Opal Crystal in concert with other regular royal crystals? Or with another who wields a greater crystal? "



Prince Castor's name wasn't the one he'd expected to hear come up in a positive impact, training or working with anyone. He'd only heard warnings against approaching the royal. But it was a start. Castor or any other willing to try it would be godsend. "Would you be willing to try? We have tried a purification by just Princess Iris' crystal power on a half-youmafied negaverse agent, and it failed to destroy the youma or purify him. We've heard that the subject must willingly relinquish Chaos, and he is willing, and that didn't effect the outcome to help it work. Or do you have any other suggestions of what variables or other magic rituals or combinations of Senshi and Knights could be done to succeed in such a case? More than one royal, trying it with a greater crystal in the mix, and trying it off Earth as far away as could be from Metallia's power were the only variables we could come up with. "



She neither recoiled nor laughed in his face. Alois, there is hope. A greater crystal can be tried. She's willing to try. Not just slough all hope to the cess. "Do you have one of the Senshi phones? Can I scan you to be able to contact you? Or is there a different way to contact you? Am I even allowed to contact you, Princess Chronos? "



He pulled his phone out and took the steps to formally scanning her just in case. " With the new smartphone upgrades Mauvian Ash built, I don't know if the database accesses the same. I've never used it, even with the old phones, to try to contact someone from. I could be wrong, maybe it does work. That will be something worth checking in on, and save everyone having to physically scan each other to have them in accessible contact. "

He bowed to her again, " Princess...thank you. There's been so many empty walls- thank you. I will try to contact one of the other royalty, or as many as are willing. I'll message you again to set up when and where it can be coordinated. "
