When Kerberos was tracking, he was almost totally oblivious to any Chaotic auras nearby. He was too focused on following the Page aura of the person he intended to snuff out, and and on detecting for any Order morons who might like to try and help out (like that redheaded girl who had proved far more truble than she was worth.)
So maybe it was no surprise that while chasing down a Page of Mars - not his usual target, but just as fun - he was completely oblivious to annearby Corrupted Super's aura.[Mistress Morbid] come help ur puppy murder things, lulu

Lellouch decided that this kid was a certified idiot. And that was quite a bit coming from her. She had followed him for quite a while, watching as he tailed the page but ever made the motion of ending the little shits life. It was beginning to get a bit old. "Kerberos." The blond said his name, pulling his attention from the page. He hadn't been paying attention to signatures, thus letting her get right up behind him with little effort. "If you're going to kill it, would you please hurry it the ******** up before I beat you too it?" She said, speaking up.

Kerberos let out a quiet growling noise. "******** off, Lellouch, I'm in the middle of something." It had to be her, didn't it? The only one of the other Ascendeds he could even pretend to feel safe around, because she hadn't ever gone diving into his brain.
He reached down to grab a discarded beer bottle, slamming it against the wall so it shattered with sharp edges, and then, when the Page stopped to catch his breath, Kerberos bolted out, driving the improvised blade into his prey's back. He yanked it out, and the Page staggered forward, bleeding from a nasty circle of wounds. "You're too impatient. The hunt is half the fun."

"Clearly." Lellouch rolled her eyes, a small groan of her own when he used a broken beer bottle as a weapon. This wasn't the Shawshank Redemption damn it. He could do better then that. ...Or not. Idiot didn't even know how to aim. "You really are just a mutt.. Running around and chasing anything that flies past your damn nose..." The teen crossed her arms, fixing the corrupt with flat stare. "Stop running your mouth before I shove that bottle down your throat shard by shard. And a broken bottle? Really? My dog can do better then that Kerberos, and my dog's stupider than you."

There was already blood running, that was all Kerberos needed. The Page staggered away, eyes wide and startled, and he moved forward, driving the broken bottle into the man's gut as his fingers sank into his chest, extracting his starseed at the same time he yanked out his improvised blade.
"If I didn't need him to bleed, he would have already been dead," he said sharply, tossing the weapon aside. "But if you'd like to provide me with an alternate sharp object, please, do so."

"You're a damned super. I shouldn't have to hand you s**t at this point Kerberos." Lellouch responded. The blonde drew closer, taking slow steps as she watched the much shorter senshi as he marveled at that stupid piece of crystalline piece of s**t in his hand. This was an all to familiar scene with him. Lellouch reached out and curled his fingers around his wrist. Her lip twitched upwards just slightly at the way he realized just a second too late at what was about to happen. Her other hand fisted in his ridiculous fuku as she hefted him up and threw him over her shoulder. "As it stands, we've already done this once before." She said, wasting little effort at prying the starseed from his fingers. At least he had some sense of mind to close his hand around it to keep it from flying god knows where. "You're not paying attention again. Just as you weren't then."

Kerberos was always distracted when he got his hands around a starseed. Watching the light fade as the body it came from slowly died was particularly fascinating for him - this tiny thing was the core of someone's very soul, and he was literally watching a soul snuff out.
He realized a moment too late what Lellouch intended to do, and yelped as she sent him flying, fingers curling to protect the starseed - but she won, pulling ti out of his hand, as he lay on his back and groaned.
"Do you get a kick out of kill-stealing? Is that just, like, a thing, with you?" He asked, his tone sharp and sarcastic. Really, this was just ridiculous - but it wasn't as if he needed the damn starseed, it was just another trophy. "Ugh, fine, take it. God, that is not the way I prefer to end up with bruises on my back." So that was probably more than she wanted to hear, who cared? She was the one that had thrown him like a rag doll.

"It's not my fault you weren't paying attention." She mutters. With a quick flick of her wrist, she released his as if it offend her. "I tried this on Persephone once. Though the difference in that situation is she wanted to try and corrupt the damn thing, where as you just killed it." So she had to give him points for being mildly entertaining. "Only with you Hellhound." Lellouch murmured, the name rolling off her tongue before it even registered with her. She paused, glancing at him for a long moment as he lay on the ground before she spoke again. "...Well now. It's not like this was the first time I've left my mark on you now was it?" And given what she'd seen. It probably wasn't her last either. Ugh. "Get up."

Kerberos's hand fell limply to the ground, and then he visibly flinched. The nickname - and the reminder - just stirred up the weird bundle of confused feelings he'd been struggling with ever since the memory-nightmare came crashing down on him. He felt like he knew too much - in ways he had never wanted to. Particularly about her.
He felt his face heat up, which meant that Lellouch won some kind of trophy for being the first woman to make him blush, and he threw an arm over his face.
"No, I think I'm just going to lay here and try not to think too hard about that. Thanks."

They really were alike. Kerberos and Persephone. Lellouch marveled lightly at just how similar they really were. Really lightly mind you. Because they were both very very stupid and it made her head hurt. Lellouch raised a brow in question at his antics as she leaned just the slightest bit over him to watch him further. "...You realize, by doing that, you're only going to end up thinking about it right." The small twitch she got in response was confirmation enough. "You are a weird one Hellhound." She muttered before her eyes narrowed. "Now I believe I told you to do something."

"I'm not your b***h in this timeline, Lulu," Kerberos said, and it came out a lot sharper than he'd intended in his head. He sighed, and dropped his arm away from his face, pushing himself back onto his feet. With quite a bit more drama than necessary, he went back to the body and knelt to get fresh blood on his fingers.
"Now if you'll excuse me for a moment, I have a proper serial killer ritual to complete," he said, and then he began writing on the wall -- spelling out the phrase "FOR AVALON".
