Thara usually didn't need to keep Elarinya on a tight leash -- the young girl kept herself there, proud of her post and refusing to leave even the most grave circumstances -- but there were also times Thara could ... use a break from the excitable, curious little child.
Needless to say, when she heard murmurs from the fairies about an event on Nathaear Beach, Thara found some candy, handed it to Elarinya, and unceremoniously dropped her off at the beach.
The little girl thought this was awesome.
When she looked around, she saw that there were some people sitting around with little booths and candies ... hm...
A few hours later, Elarinya had fashioned herself a little booth of her own. There was a plank she had gotten from the water and cleaned up a bit, the wood oddly light brown for being in the water at this point. She placed the bowl she was given by Thara on the table, candy practically overflowing from the bowl -- and in fact, it was, considering some of it was on the little table she made.
When children approached her booth, perhaps looking for a parent, Elarinya exclaimed, "Hello!! Take some candy! But be careful..."
The little girl tilted her head, feather bobbing.
"There might be some non-candy things in there! Reach in if you dare though!!"

Trick or Treat Rules
Elarinya has a lot of extra candy on her hands, but also a lot of extra tricks! Roll 3d6 at Elarinya's booth. Per die, 1-5 represents candy, and 6 represents a trick!
Cupcake Corazon approached the next booth less concerned. She had treats with her and the girl here looked to be her age! Smiling brightly she asked, "Treat please!" No tricks, tricks weren't fun! Reaching up she closed her eyes and dug around for the treasures.
Alpaca Aloiki waved shyly at Elarinya, hiding behind his costume. This was a girl his age! Would she want to be friends? "Trick or treat!" He called out bravely calling for the trick too. He hadn't gotten any treats the last time so maybe she had some for him?
Soliel walked down the beach with her sack, a hand reaching up to fix her green tulip stems on top of her head. The little demonic was smeared with green from head to toe, and her golden strands covered with red. Her costume was a homage to the scariest pae she knew on the whole island.
Her sister Cressida.
She happily stepped up to the booth, which was surprisingly run by a child! "Trick o Treat!"

"Okay, good luck!!" Elarinya giggled as the pink girl reached in and went to grab herself some candies. Thankfully for her, she did actually get candies, and Elarinya clapped. "Congratulations!"
Ooh, who was the next one that flew up to her? She had never seen anything like it! Curious, Elarinya launched herself half over the table to observe his tail and little wings. Ooh, they were kinda thin like hers! Except there were more of them. And they were a different color. "Maybe you'll get some treats! You need to reach in and find out!"
After a few seconds, she clapped. "Yay! You got some candies! Congratulations! And your costume is kinda adorable." She giggled.
Oh, who was this one? It had the leathery wings -- Elarinya knew those, and she tilted her head. "Tricko Treat? I have lots of Tricko Treats!" She laughed merrily, pushing her candy bowl towards Soliel. "Take a Tricko! Or maybe a treato... or maybe a tricko treato!" Wings fluttering, Elarinya hovered close to Soliel's face.
Skipping over happily Corazon was over the moon that she was able to come by more than once. The delighted cupcake called out, "Tricks or treats!" Waving happily at Elarinya as she reached for the treats that were bound to be there. There could never be enough treats. Even more so since she had more than her cousin and sharing was bound to be required.
Aloiki liked this girl, she said his costume was cute! On there return trip he made sure to thank her first, "T'ank you! I is Alpaca!" Zofie had to stifle a sigh. That had been the child's first word and she was positive that if she wasn't there, it would have been the child's name as well. Kurt was nice but when he threw himself into something..it was sad.
Aloiki called out again, "Tricks or treats" Holding his bag out and reaching for more awesome treats.
Her eyes went WIDE at the large payout of candy. She wasn't sure what a tricko was herself, she was just parroting what she heard. But if a tricko or a treato or whatever gave THIS many candies it couldn't be bad. "Thank youuuu!"
So. Much. Candy. So much. And the pae at this booth was her size! That was also fantastic! Maybe she would get more candy? Kids had to stick together right? Adults were always like "no you had candy five minutes ago" and "no you'll spoil dinner" and "candy is not breakfast Ilazia". That wasn't fair, was it? No, candy was awesome and should be had all the time! "Hi! Trick or treat!"
As more people approached her booth, Elarinya waved her arms and flapped her little wings as she buzzed around rapidly.
"Hello!!"
It would probably seem like Elarinya had gotten into the candy herself, considering how happy she seemed to see all these kids, both returning and otherwise. "Treats!!" declared Elarinya, to the ones who said trick or treat, giggling. "Treats for everyone!"
And, indeed, everyone who came by on the second try received quite the amount of treats...
"You are Alpaca?" said Elarinya, in particular to Aloiki. She had never heard of Alpaca. She wondered, however briefly, what it might have been, before resolving to ask Thara. She knew a lot of stuff, so she probably knew what Alpaca was. And if she didn't--
On the third try, though, it seemed that now that there was less candy around, pae had a higher chance of getting tricks! In particular, one little demon girl came by and ended up getting two tricks! At this, Elarinya cackled playfully, as if she was evil. "You have been tricked by the Great Rini!" Ooh, she should get a banner, and write "The Great Rini" on it...
Needless to say, by the fourth time they came around, there was a makeshift banner in front of her booth, saying THE GREAT RINI.
