The family
Although first gens Diayna and Dale feel a connection that is not a soul-bond. They look at each other as siblings and Diayna along with her soulbound mate Turian do their best to keep the bumbling philosopher Dale safe and fed.
Dale - Thoughtful, introspective student of the Great Weaving. Dale is ... interesting... He was found by Diayna exhausted in his effort to try to protect a sapling from a rockslide. Dale is so busy observing that he often neglects himself and his own safety. It's really very lucky that Diayna found him and in turn that her mate was just as willing to help out.
Diayna - mate Turian Strong, resourceful, proud.
Turian - mate Diayna Steady
Turayna
As much as she loves her family Turayna is feeling drawn away to explore more of the world.
Dayrian
A strong protective streak runs through this family and Dayr has it. Though he is intrigued in his uncle's view of the world he's decided to journey with Turayna for a while.

Nilakshi, The Master Cleric
Personality || Nilakshi is intuitive and focused. She exudes a calm strength that helps support her patients spirits as she works to heal their physical ills. Even as she teaches she'll never stop thinking of herself as a student as more knowledge and resources become available to her through the Tribe and interaction with others. ....from her contest entry
xxx◘ What is her mindset within the Tribe? Mostly a Capital Dweller, having spent so much of her early days on her own she does have some Wanderer tendencies. Nilakshi will need to travel from time to time to gather what she needs for her duties and just to take some time for herself. xxx◘ What kind of plots would you like for her? Nilakshi is a practical healer but she also has a very spiritual side. I can see her having some philosophical discussions/debates with various other b'alam. Would love to have at least one such conversation with the Abbot as the two get to know each other working together.
Bedside manner. Facing a student with a bit too much pride that looks down on Nilakshi's more intuitive and empathetic practices. They'll need to come to learn that the patient needs that side if a healing is truly to be complete.
xxx◘ What will she look for in a soul-mate? She'll be so absorbed in her work she won't be actively looking. They'll probably just stumble upon each other. A Tahtll of similar dedication and personality would suit her best. Someone that's more of a Wanderer that can share stories with her and join her when she's outside Lychnidos. xxx◘ Having spent so much time out on her own, the cleric had to find ways to care for her self at first. Which included lots of trial and error, what first gave her the idea that plants could be used for something more than just sustenance?
It was a desperate time for her. Driven by hunger, pain and exhaustion she attempted to hunt only to find herself missing her target and instead falling down an incline and landing in a stream. She lifted herself up painfully her side covered in scrapes, but still the rumbling in her belly distracted her from the pain. Deciding water was going to have to do for the moment she bent to drink from the cool clear water and noticed some leafy vegetation growing at the water's edge. There was a tickle in her mind almost like a vague recognition. She'd felt such touches before and they had usually led her to what she needed. Since hunger was her topmost concern at the moment, she plucked off a leaf and began to chew. Her mouth promptly went numb and she spat out the paste and rinsed her mouth with water. She felt betrayed, her intuition had never failed her before. If she had lost that slight guidance what would become of her? She began to pace and in that frustrated motion the pain of her injuries flared. Tears in her eyes she bent to lick the closest of the scraps and the remnants of the numbing agent began to work on the injury. Her eyes grew wide at this revelation. She used telekinesis to gather a few more of the leaves and set them on a convenient rock using a smaller stone from the stream to grind the leaves into a paste. She rubbed against the paste covered rock and sighed with relief. That day Nilakshi learned the valuable lesson that though some plants might not be food, they could serve other purposes, and thus her journey toward her future duties was begun. xxx◘ This gal isn't just a cleric, she's the MASTER cleric. Which means she's got some suite concoctions under her belt! Give us one of her recipes, and don't forget the secret ingredient!
In her role as Master Cleric, Nilakshi needs to speak often and clearly. It wouldn't do for her to loose herself to coughing or worse loose her voice, so she came up with a soothing tea to drink when that dryness begins to sneak up on her. Lemon juice, honey, and a touch of cinnamon. The lemon especially in a warm drink is effective at stimulating the salivary glands and replenishing the natural moisture of mouth and throat and the honey is soothing. The cinnamon is for taste and she often leaves it out of the cough syrup variation she provides for patients. Very few know the syrup is derived from the beverage and she only shares her secret recipe with close friends and associates like the Abbot.

►Tell her story ♦♦♦ |[ Prompt ]|
Unlike nearly every B'alam in the Light Tribe, the Master Cleric has been on her own for some time since her awakening. She has had some time to learn ways in which to heal and care for herself in this time. The reasoning for her delayed introduction to the pride, would be Mlinzi's run in with The Magi Advisor.
----
A rustling in the bushes startled the female awake and she quickly hopped ot her feet. Her heart beating a bit more quickly than usual as she frantically searched the area for signs of her intruder, of which there seemed to be none. More rustling - this time from behind her, and as she turned to face her fate she was met with a face to face invasion with a giant male. A small screech escaped her throat as she outstretched a paw and swiped at him before skittering away. Mlinzi let out a small yowl of pain before shaking it off and returning to the more important task at hand. "I mean you no harm, you know. I'm actually here for you!" He tried to offer a friendly smile, but with the pain from the swipe it was a bit horrendous. The female frowned as she debated what she should do, but as she realized the male was not tending to his own wounds she knew what she must do. She sighed heavily before marching out of her hiding place and approaching him. Lowering herself to his level she examined his eyes ... what an interesting color .... and yet he didn't seem to notice her in the slightest, despite her close proximity. "I can't see you, in case you're wondering. I'm unable to see, have been my entire life. I can tell you about it if you'd like?" He offered trying to get the conversation flowing a little more freely. Curiosity overtook her senses and she eagerly agreed, while nudging him to a clear path so she could take a better look at his paw. It seemed deep, and her claws weren't exactly the cleanest things in the world ... As the two sat together, speaking of one's misfortune, while tending to another, a special bond was formed. Mlinzi offered to take her back to the tribe, having apologized profusely for leaving her alone for such a long time. The female agreed, stating that she would need to keep a careful eye on his mending injury as time took its toll. As the weeks went on, Mlinzi's injury healed, and with it came a new realization. The tribe currently consisted of no one with a higher knowledge of anything than wrapping a bandage. Perhaps this female's knowledge would be of great advantage to their ever expanding community? It was then, that he approached her with the opportunity to change the pride - one repair at a time.
This prompt should detail how the Master Cleric went about healing Mlinzi's wounds. She is a Master Cleric! A simple band-aid isn't going to cut it here! Be as creative as you can, while also telling us of how she feels being leveled with the task of teaching an entire tribe the things she had to teach herself.
It had been weeks since Mlinzi had come for her. She'd been so afraid when he first appeared. Of course the appearance of the much larger male had caused her to react with claws first. She shook her head sighing with embarrassment of the memory of her first encounter with the Magus.
She'd been alone, depending on touches of intuition along with trial and error to survive, and it certainly showed in her less than pristine condition at the time of the Magus' arrival. One thing she did know was how to tend a wound and it wasn't long before she proceeded to care for the one she'd inflicted. She'd settled Mlinzi in a comfortable spot while she ran to fetch what she would need. Returning with a sack made out of braided vines, large clay jug and a shallow bowl she got to work while Mlinzi told his story. She absorbed the information even as she poured cool water filled with herbs over his wounds to cleanse them. When the jug was almost empty she poured what was left in the bowl. She dug through her bag and took out a jar and tapped the powder inside into the bowl swishing it around to mix it. It became like a paste. She interupted Mlinzi's story once to inform him , "This might sting a bit but it will help it mend faster," as she used a large leaf to smooth it onto the wound. A couple more leaves served as bandaging. Finished with her work she'd sat to quietly listen. She was as surprised by his invitation to return with him as she was by how eager she was to take him up on the offer. There was of course he wound to care for, but there was a sudden desire that arose in her for that companionship. She'd been making it on her own but she knew the Weaver had not made her to remain alone. So she had come to Lychnidos and begun to meet others and to learn more about her Tribe and the world and herself.
It was with these memories in mind that Nilakshi approached what was likely to be the last scheduled meeting between herself and the Magus Mlinzi. His wound was mostly healed now, she'd only applied the ointment without the protective bandaging the last time. When she met with him this evening it seemed he was even more thoughtful than usual. "It's well healed now. No more treatment should be needed the last mark will heal up on its own now." She wasn't sure what else to say. Her job was done but it seemed the Magus was not done with her.
"I think perhaps you've begun to think of Lychnidos as your home now?" he inquired. She started to simply reply with a nod, but of course words were needed, "Yes. There is so much more for me to learn and resources I never imagined." "Ever the student," he chuckled, "but I think Nilakshi that you have much you could teach as well. Our community has need of one with your skills, one who can tend to the sick and injured, and teach others to do the same. Are you willing to join us in this larger role?" A familiar sensentation as her intiution tickled her mind. It felt right she'd already begun helping with the young of the Tribe, tending their injuries and ills. Others were beginning to know her and greet her by name. She'd seen interest and curiosity in some eyes, the students were out there ready for a teacher. Yes, she felt at home now and now... now she'd have a role all her own. She smiled, a bright smile that came through in her voice as she replied with a firm, "Yes, I am."
Kashaku
a bit of a wanderer, he ran into Nilakshi when she was gathering needed herbs. He made a deal to assist her in return for some basic first aid instruction and the two have become friends. He prefers the freedom of travel over the comforts of life in the capital but enjoys visiting.
Runako - mate Tsura 'Twilight Dawn" (wind tribe)
Found in the crystal forest by Kashaku and brought to Lychnidos and into the capable paws of the Master Cleric. Rune is first a patient, then a devoted assistant and student.
He met his partner the wind Tsura while out on an herb gathering trip with Kashaku.
A nervous cub his only companion was the jacklight Tara. The two are inseparable even in their new home in the capital.
