So my mom gave me a fertility spell to try that involves a red candle but I won't have any until next week when the set I ordered arrives. I told her I was going to wait to use it, but she said that white candles are perfectly fine to use as a substitute -of which I have plenty. She generally uses white candles for everything.
I'm probably going to wait until I have my red candles since I feel like they'll be stronger for the purpose, but I wanted to know what someone else thought about it?
I've done a few little luck and healing spells before but this is a new one, haha...

While candles of the correct colour usually help in candle magic spells, but if it's just a regular spell, using a white candle will work just as well. White contains all colours of the spectrum (except for black obviously) and is a perfect substitute if you can't use the colour you need.
