The sun had just sunk over the horizon, leaving the sky a rich, dark purple, and the air was crisp and cool, with a breeze that came and went, scattering leaves from the trees as it did so.
Two lanterns gleamed at the entrance to the Ouran tea house. The soft, ruddy glow of a small fire in a brazier, carefully tended by a slim figure in glasses, beckoned warmly to the incoming visitors. Soft cushions were spread about on the porch, giving plenty of space and comfort to sit and view the night sky.
At the fire, Kyouya set a heavy cast-iron tea kettle to warm. Tonight would not be a formal tea, but an informal one, meant for quiet companionship and enjoyment. He took a deep breath of the fall air, scented with fallen leaves and dampness, and felt quietly at peace.

Vallerie walked along the school's grounds to the tea house. She knew it was going to be a cool night and changed into some blue jeans, a blue T-shirt, small heeled brown shoes that had a snowflake on them, and a white cardigan. She decided it was a good idea to leave her hair down, since it was a party. She usually kept it up because of her line of work. She was holding a potted plant in her arms. She walked into the room. She waved at Kyoya while smiling. Walking over to him, she placed the roses on a table, "Was it okay that I brought this?"

As it was a cool night, Tsuki had forsaken her usual dresses for a red shirt and professional looking black jeans . Of course, she had added extras like a hairpin in her hair and bracelets with her outfit so she looked her best .
She was glad when she spotted the lights of the tea house as she made her way through the school grounds she had thought for a moment she had gotten lost . Plus, she noticed someone ahead of her which meant she wasn’t the first there as she sometimes was “ Hello, I hope i’m not too early”

Yurei followed the path leading to the tea house, holding a strange-looking book in her arms. (Strange-looking in the sense of the cover showing signs of wear from near-constant use.) Her breath came out in a silvery wisp, which amused her some as she reached the warm light Kyouya was tending. He wasn't alone, though, and it was difficult for Yurei to determine the identity of the other two girls.
"Good Evening, everyone." She said, her voice a little softer than it usually was. "I brought a book of Moon-related Myths, just in case we wanted to talk about it." Though she was a member of the school's Black Magic Club, she still felt a bit shy when it came to mentioning anything about it.

After hearing the Words 'Moon Viewing' the first time Ari was quick to sign up. The elf absolutely adored gazing into the night sky and an in what better company than good friends and potential new friends~ She had Promised her Body Guard that she'd be fine on her own returning to Ouran that night, and he eventually gave in. Though silently hiding about in the trees may have sat an odd silver feathered owl.
Being the kind to always dress for events in theme the elf Cheerfully approached the Tea House clad in Black and white music notes crossed with some of her elvish attire. Ari also carried her Silver flute in hand, just in case there was a chance to play for the others. She reached her destination just after an unfamiliar face holding a book. Ari heard a soft voice speak the title and smiled sweetly with sparkles of excitement in her eyes. "That's sounds perfect and interesting. I'd enjoy hearing about Myths~ The Moon is one of my favorite subjects in that matter." She gazed up at the sky with a relaxed sigh before turning back to the shy girl. "My name is Arillena, It's nice to meet you~"
She waved a polite "Good Evening Everyone~" To those who had arrived before her. Ari was happy to see that there was another new face.

Tsuki looked around, noting that a few of the faces here she did not recognize . When she saw Ari, she waved “Hello Ari, good to see you again Did you plan to preform for us tonight?” She had noted her friend’s flute “I don’t think I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing you play .
She had also noted another girl had brought flowers, and now she felt a bit upset that she hadn’t brought anything. She should have her staff bring a proper thank you gift or something for this , but at the moment she couldn’t think of anything to bring. thankfully she noted another guest didn’t have anything either and it made her feel a bit better.

Loki stepped up to the tea house timidly, unsure. She was dressed up in a semi-formal black dress with silver accents, walking as quiet as she could in her matching heels. Contrasting heavily to her normal appearance, the brunette's hair was up and she even had a light dusting of makeup. Was she excited about this moon viewing event? Absolutely. Her outfit? Not so much. Why did that meeting have to take so long? Aigoo... Sighing gently, she walked through into the viewing area, looking around in interest. I hope I'm not too late.. Her brown eyes took in the details of the tea house, smiling gently as she noticed who was all there already; sure, she definitely felt a little over-dressed, but she had an excuse. There were some faces she recognized, and others that were new to her. "Well, time to go say hello." Loki spoke under her breath to herself as she took another step forward.

Vallerie gave the others girls a wave and smile when they entered the tea house. She looked down at herself and thought her outfit was a bit too casual. Then again, she never fit in anywhere with most of the people who attend here. She just kept by herself enjoying a cup of tea.

(( Forgive me for the delay, ladies — I've been completely swamped the past few days. )) Kyouya had debated briefly as to his own outfit for the evening, but realizing that only one of his guests was Japanese, opted away from traditional dress. He'd settled on a deceptively simple (yet obscenely expensive — Rich People, after all) contemporary-casual look — slacks, undershirt, and loose overshirt, perfectly tailored to project that crisp, collected reputation he favored.
"Good evening, ladies. Please, come in," he beckoned. "In" was a relative term; the sliding paper doors of the tea house were spread wide-open to the outside, allowing the group to either retreat in from the chill or spend their time out on the porch if they desired.
"Ah, they're quite lovely," he nodded at the roses, then gestured at a small alcove to the side. "May I put them there?" Kyouya had recalled that Vallerie had offered to bring flowers for this particular event, so he'd left the niche that usually held an ikebana arrangement empty of flowers. There was a hand-painted scroll depicting autumn leaves floating in a stream hanging on the wall there, and the brightness of the roses contrasted prettily with it.
"I'd be delighted to hear some of the myths that you brought to share, Yurei-san. Please, if you'd be so kind." He was quick to bring the girls cushions to sit on angling toward the best view of the moon peeking through bare branches, and followed that with green tea to warm their hands and stomachs.

((Completely understandable. Don't worry about it. I've been a tad busy this week as well.)) The sound of someone behind her made her jump a little, though it may have been difficult to see in relative darkness. Her shoulders had jerked upwards and a sharp intake of breath could be heard before she let her breath out again as she calmed herself from the brief shock. Looking over her shoulder, she gave a small smile to the elven-looking woman before looking at the sky as well. "H-hello, Arillena." The brunette said, stuttering only briefly before getting a hold of herself. "I'm Yurei, and the feeling is mutual." When Tsuki mentioned the flute, she directed her attention towards the silver instrument in the other girl's hand. "Oh wow, it's really pretty..." She said softly, vaguely noting that it appeared to be silver and wondering what kind of stat boost it would give in a fantasy game. Her outfit could be considered business casual, if one could look at it that way. A pair of black jeans, free of tears and stains, under a short red kimono that she often wore for the times where she wasn't certain if she needed to be formal or casual. At Kyouya's invitation, Yurei smiled and nodded, bowing politely as she entered and took a seat on one of the cushions offered. Before she replied to Kyouya, she noticed another girl enter the tea house. Smiling, Yurei nodded in greeting to the new arrival. "Thank you." She said, placing the worn old book at her side before accepting the tea. It felt a little too warm in her hands for her liking, but that was actually a good thing to her. If tea was too hot, then one could let it sit and converse with other guests until it was cool enough to handle.

Yurei Surana what kind of stat boost it would give in a fantasy game. ((This ^ Made me smile. XD Considering I almost always play a Bard. OuO )) "Yurei?" The elf smiled. What a pretty name, and why does it sound familiar.. Ari nodded to Tsuki, "That's why I brought it. Just in case~" The elf had specifically picked the silver one because of it's relatively fantasy-themed design. That and the color silver reminded her of the Moon. She kept a kind smile on that never faltered as she waved to those arriving after her. "Thank you~" She said with a slight bow to their Tall host as the elf entered the tea house. The smell of the Roses mixed with the tea was relaxing as a cool breeze rustled the trees around them. She sat a little ways from the girl already drinking tea. She must has gotten here eariler. "Hello~"

She shook her head, "Not at all. You can move them to where ever you see fit." Vallerie didn't have much to say to people, unless it concerned a plant of some kind, "I would have brought moon flowers, but it would take a lot of work getting them here, since they are a type of vine."

(( Used my mod powers to fix your quotes so the display's fixed, Tsuki! -- K ))She smiled “How wonderful, hopefully the opportunity arises “ She followed behind ari into the teahouse, and wasted no time in finding herself a nice cushion and sitting in it. “Ah , it’s so nice , and the moon is just perfect this evening. The only way that it could be any more perfect, is an eclipse” She left the tea that had been brought for a moment, not thirsty enough to need or wanting a sip at the moment If she’d brought her sketchbook with her, she could of sketched the moon. Instead, she’d have to remember this and draw it later . The position it was in as it peeked down between the branches was just perfect for showing to the drawing club at a later date. “Yurei I don’t think I’ve met you before , it’s nice to meet you. I’m Tsuki by the way”

"Annyeong~ Sorry if I'm late." Loki offered a sheepish smile as she walked in further, bowing carefully with her hands laced in front of her. She waved to the few girls that were new to her, but was going to wait patiently before introducing herself, since it looked like everyone was in discussion with each other. Glad it's not freezing yet. Just a nice breeze tonight.. Her eyes wandered as she stood off closer to the nearby fire, not looking at anything in particular as her mind thought through the day's events.

"Not at all. We've only just begun." Kyouya had just settled the roses in the niche designed for flowers, before coming to bring Loki some tea. "Music and stories? We're fortunate to be in the company of so many talented people tonight."
If he weren't the host, he might have drifted slightly out of the way to allow the introductions to flow of their own accord, but as it was, it seemed best if he nudged them along. "I believe you all know me," he said with a slight smile, "but you may not all know each other. Please allow me the honor." He gestured to each in turn, in order of their arrival. "Miss Vallerie, Miss Tsuki, Miss Yurei, Miss Arillena, Miss Loki. Welcome, all of you."
