Walking around with a box full of shiny treasures such as pearls, old jewelry from suken ships that she cleaned and polished, she walks around till she finds a nice place on the edge of the beach to try selling what she found the day before. Since she has so many of her own treasures she didn't need or wish to take any of the ones she found.

Chouko smiled as she walked along the beach, with a treasure bag on her back. Today had already been a good day. She had found a few coins, metallic shells and some sea glass. She kept her eyes peeled for anything shiny or sparkling. She paused by the surf seeing a glint just under the tide. She quickly pawed at it and grinned; it was another piece of sea glass, a deep red like her brother Rix' fur. "And another one for my collection..." she giggled as she put the piece in her bag.

Looking around she sees someone near the water so she turns then walks over smiling a bit. Getting closer she says, "Hello there, I'm Moonstone, though it seems Moon is short so I guess I can go by that as well." Looking at her bag, "Oh, do you collect things from around the beach? Want anything from the box on my back. I won't charge you since it seems to be a lazy day anyways." Shrugging she lays down letting the smile fade and stares off into the water.

Chouko jumped slightly hearing the voice of someone else before she smiled, "Hello, my name is Chouko but you can call me Cho if you want. It's a nice day isn't it?" She stopped and stared at the aquatic female for a moment looking confused, "You'd really let me choose whatever I want out of the box you have? Why?"

Lifting her head she smiles a bit, "Alright, Chi it is then." Looking around here, "It is a nice day, almost a lazy sort of day." Looking over near the road, "No wonder I can't find anyone to buy anything from me. I think this might be the tenth area I tried today and so far I only sold six of the treasures that I found." Smiling at Cho, "So that's why you can have something or other since if I can't sell it I might as well give it away." Taking the box off her back she places it in-front of he, "I don't like keeping my boat house packed too full of the treasures I find. I'll also have to carry the box all the way home again." Pouting she doesn't really like the idea of that since she was still sort of tried from all the swimming she did yesterday. She had went further and deeper then before to try finding better treasures.

Cho smiled and nodded, "I can understand that... the place where I stash my treasures is a bit away from my home and I keep having to make it bigger. It'd be a hassle to try and keep making your house bigger or move. This is really kind of you. It must be my lucky day." Chouko smiled and sat in the sand waiting to see the contents of the box. "I guess you went swimming to get them... but the water is pretty cold now that it's cooled."

"Oh, you have a place where you stash your treasure? I only have my house boat, it'd be interesting to see what sorts of treasures you have collected. And it sure would be a hassle to try making a boat larger. I could of course buy a larger boat then I might keep too much of the treasure and I wouldn't have much money for anything." Blushing, "Oh, I'm glad I could be kind to someone new. And I think myself lucky to have found you since even if you only take one or two of the treasures it'll still make it a bit easier for me to carry around some more." While sitting there the blush fades while she hopes Cho will find a nice amount of treasure she will want to take with her. Her ears perk up then she shakes her head yes, "The cold water doesn't bother me too much. The only thing that does bother me is the salt in the salt water."

Chouko smiled, "It's always fun to make new friends, or at least that's what I think." She gasped as she opened the box and stared at the jewels within. Her tail twitching with excitement and joy "Oh wow they are so pretty! I don't know which one to choose!"

Smiling a bit, "Yes, making new friends is fun." She jumped back when Cho gasped, then blushed a bit then became a bit bashful, "You really think so? I thought they were pretty though I think anything that shines or sparkles is pretty after all. And if you have trouble choosing one you can have two of three. Since I have enough money for the time being since I work from Monday to Friday. Normally I'll clean up then sell everything in the same day that I get them. Though with the water getting colder, having to swim further down, I was just too tired to sell them yesterday." Sitting down she takes a hold of the end of her tail to rub it a bit since it was still a bit sore after a crab pinched it earlier.

Chouko grinned as she was told she could have a couple and took out a sapphire and a pearl. "You are nicer than I am I don't sell the treasures, I find I keep them. Thanks again," she paused as she saw Moonstone rubbing her tail. "Did you get hurt while down there?"

Smiling, "That's fine, if I had another boat, or larger boat I might be tempted to keep more then I sell. And being nice is something an old friend of mine raised me to be I guess. And you welcome." She blushed when she saw Cho looking at her rubbing her tail, "No, a crab got a hold of it earlier today. And by got a hold of it I mean pinched down and refused to let go. I'm not sure how's in more pain, me or the crab. I smacked it several times onto the sand till it finally let go. By then my tail was swollen and bright red." She keeps rubbing her tail just to make sure she didn't miss any hurting muscles.

Chouko pouted and shook her head, "That sounds very painful Moon. I am sorry. I hope it heals quickly."

Looking up at Cho, "Thank you, I'm sure after I get home to ice my tail it'll be better by tomorrow. If not I have tomorrow off anyways since I have as many sick/hurt days as I want. And it's is very painful, since when I walk I wag my tail causing myself more pain. No matter what I do I just keep waging my tail back and forth to keep up some unheard rhythm." Then looking at what Cho chose, "Ah, what lovely taste in treasures. Sapphires and pearls are really nice."

Chouko tilted her head as she thought, "Maybe if you try alternating between hot and cool on it it might help. I read about that a while ago..." Chouko smiled and nodded, "They are very pretty, thank you for this."

Tilting her head back, "Oh, I prefer using something cool since I hate hot things. Also, cool things seem to work pretty well for me. Though thanks for trying to help me." Turning her head the right way, "I'm glad you think so." Getting up she stretches a bit then sits back down letting her tail swish back and forth behind her. Causing her to wince every so often, yet she doesn't seem to care too much since she's having a great time just siting around talking with Cho. And the fact that she doesn't have to carry the box around for a while is nice and gives her back a rest.
