[VSG12]

In a land far beyond our own, the lands lie in turmoil and war. A war has waged for centuries between the different species of the planet. Blood has been endlessly spilt, and most species are on the verge of extinction. Alliances between species are unheard of, and any who try and stop the war are killed and their loved ones tortured.

However, the tides have turned near the millennium-mark of this war. With almost all the species on the verge of extinction, and the land covered in so much blood and chaos, several Gods have decided that enough is enough. Those God's are ones that have fallen from Grace, having been corrupted by greed and hatred to aid in the war. The God's are neutral spirits, unable to partake in beginning or ending a war, let alone taking place. To be allowed back home, they must do a good deed and stop the war.

So the Fallen Gods gather forth a group of beings to end the war. Only one method exists to stop the blood-shed, and that is to travel far and wide to the Gates of Hell, where they must offer a sacrifice of blood to the Demon God (*Lucifer) there as payment for the sins of their species. The group must contain one being of each species, and the offering must take place on the upcoming Summer Solstice.

Can the God's gather a group, when friendship between all species is forbidden?

❶ Please message profiles to VSG12, with the title of "Forbidden Friendship (VIP)". Be sure to include a gaia_star (star) icon as well, so I am sure you have read through the rules.

❷ The main characters will be open only for a short time. If you want them, be sure to take them. Try and take already existing characters, instead of making your own ahead of time. However, original characters are accepted.

❸ Please do not go over-board with violence, romance, or other themes. Try to keep the Role Play to a PG13 limit. You can be violent, romantic, and curse, but do keep it to a limited amount. If you do insist on "going further" with a character in a romantic setting, please resort to Private Messaging.

❹ Please be literate in this Role Play! I don't expect huge paragraphs or anything of that matter, but don't use one-liners. Also be sure to use the correct spelling, grammar, and other literary methods.

❺ Try and make your posts as pretty as you can! You can either use a creative border or a picture of your character(s) in each post. Using colors is accepted, but try not to use the same colors as other characters.

❻ There is no limit to the amount of characters you can take, but please, only take as many as you can handle. If you take 20 characters and only use 6, I will delete the unused characters. Unless there is a reason for a character to be out of action, please only make as many characters as needed.

❼ Invite friends to this thread! Also, please try to post as often as you can, even if it's only one post a day. If you need to leave, please inform me as soon as you can, or even leave a post in the thread.

Bio:
Hajatu is the God of War & Battle, and the son of Tedros and Lesa. This makes him a powerful God because Tedros is the “Holy Father” of unimaginable strength and power. Hajatu is a skilled swordsman, and is the God of Battle and War. Hajatu was stripped of his Godly duties (making him more or less a Demigod instead of a God) because he allowed a fight to progress between two people instead of stopping the fight. As such, he has to find a way to restore his honor and therefore restore his god-hood. He decided to end the war and bring everyone into an era of peace. Hajatu is a rather nonchalant and charismatic person, but can be deadly in battle. He's loved by his friends, admired by allies, and feared greatly by foes.

Bio:
Lumend is the Goddess of Day and Light, and is the daughter of Lucifer and Ruel. People found it odd that Lucifer, God of Death, could produce a child of Light, but he did. Lumend is the twin sister of Schatten, God of Darkness and Night. Schatten is very protective of Lumend, and as such she is not skilled at fighting like most Gods and Goddesses are. Being protected and sheltered her whole life, she often yearns for independence and freedom to be herself and fight her own battles. However, despite Schatten protecting her, she is always with him. Lumend, despite not being physically strong, has a lot of control over her powers, and is very skilled with them. She can use her healing to revive the just-deceased, as long as someone else heals the body at the same time.

Schatten is the God of Darkness and Night, and is the son of Lucifer and Ruel. He is the twin brother of Lumend, Goddess of Light and Day, and is her polar opposite. Despite being opposite in personalities, he is very protective of his sister, and is always with her. Schatten is a fierce fighter, often times becoming merciless and violent in battle and massacre-ing everyone and everything without thinking. Because he is easily angered, he often times depends on Lumend to calm him down. He depends on Lumend for emotional support, as she depends on him for physical protection. Schatten is often misunderstood, and only seeks acceptance. He and Lumend were stripped of God-hood like Hajatu.

An elite group of archers, swordsmen, and skilled fighters who are named after a certain gemstone that compliments their abilities. They are as follows, from the leader at the strongest to the lowest. If you would like to take a character, please send a PM (with the title and icon required) asking for what character; your username will then appear after the name.


“Garik” the Garnet Garrotte. He holds the powers of poison manipulation, since garnet is said to help purify the blood. He is an elite fighter and is a demon. He is the current leader of the Crystal Rangers, and decided to use the birthstones as their code-names. His weapon is the string used to choke someone from behind (literally called a “garrotte wire”).

“Amira” the Amethyst Arrow. She holds psychic powers, the strongest being precognitive dreams and dream manipulation; amethyst is said to aid in the presence of good dreams. Amira is an elf, and as such can summon the Silphs of Wind to aid her in her archery. She is skilled and feared amongst many nations.

“Aquarel” the Aquamarine Alabarda. { VSG12 } She holds the powers of astral projection and sorcery; aquamarine is said to help one be in touch with their spiritual being. Aquarel is a Valkyrie who knows how to wield her Alabarda (a combination weapon; a spear and an axe) with beauty and grace.

“Diamanto” the Diamond Dagger. He holds the powers of power amplification; diamond is said to be a very powerful balancer of the body and emotions. Because diamonds are said to empower the stones that surround them, he can use his powers to boost the strength of his comrades. He is a vampire who, by wearing an enchanted necklace, can be out in sunlight.

“Esmail” the Emerald Epee. He holds the powers of empathy; emerald is said to be a bridge between two people. He can use his empathy as lie detection, making him in charge of any and all interrogations to be able to uncover the absolute truth. His weapon, the “epee”, is similar to a rapier sword, or any other thin sword used in duelling. He is a human.

“Pearce” the Pearl Punch. He holds the powers of healing; pearls are said to be a symbol of purity. Although he would serve as a medic most of the time, this battle-ready werewolf isn't afraid to throw a strong punch that can send people through walls.

“Reuben” the Ruby Rapier. He holds the powers of fire manipulation; rubies fall under the fire chakra, located at the bottom of the spine. He is hot-headed and prone to not think his actions through. However, in battle, this wizard is as cunning as any of his friends.

“Perrigrin” the Peridot Pike. He holds the powers of light; Peridot is said to be a stone of lightness. He can use his abilities to produce orbs of light than can be damaging, or form shields of energy. His weapon is a long spear used by old infantries in battle. Perrigrin is a cunning centaur who assumes a human form thanks to an enchanted belt.

“Saphyre” the Sapphire Scythe. She holds the powers of wind manipulation; Sapphire falls under many star signs associated with the element of Wind. She is a strong and formidable ally who, like Aquarel, is a Valkyrie warrior.

“Ophelia” the Opal Onager. She holds the powers of water manipulation; opals contain water and it is a soothing stone. Her weapon is similar to a catapult. She is a strong siren who keeps a human form on land. She is a strong opponent physically, uncommon in most sirens.

“Topher” the Topaz Tomahawk. He holds the powers of earth manipulation; topaz falls under the star sign of Sagittarius, which is a sign of Earth. He is already an unnaturally strong demon, though his skills of combining his attacks with his earth moves is ingenious.

“Turque” the Turquoise Trident. He holds the power of shape-shifting; turquoise is said to take on the traits of the wearer or owner. Because he is a shape-shifter, he can take the skills of any species if he has any DNA from them (which he does). He is the spy for the Crystal Rangers and is at the bottom of the scale since he is new.

Bio:
Faelyn, Faye to friends, is a strong-willed and feisty Elven Archer and a warrior for her people. She was being hunted down by Elf Hunters (Demons) and was saved by the group; Hajatu, Schatten, & Lumend She joined only after she was caught in a trap again and was saved. She feels she must repay the group for saving her; she must save everyone twice. Even though she does so more than once, she stays with the group to end the war once and for all. Her personality, intelligence, and bravery in battle is what makes Hajatu fall in love with her.
