A girl was playing in her room when she heard her mother calling her to come into the kitchen. She was coming downstairs when a hand reached out from the cupboard under the stairs and pulled her in, closing the door behind her. It was the girl's mother.

"Don't go in the kitchen," she said. "I heard it, too."
