[Dream Dancers]

Dolls with a life of their own have a certain...not to put too fine a point on it...life to them. Whether possessed by a malevolent soul, forged by a mad inventor, or cursed with the inability to control their own fates by occupying a lifeless husk, dolls are both enchanting and terrifying. Maybe Neil Gaiman was right in Coraline, and it's the voidlike emptiness of the button and glass eyes. Maybe it's the lifelike form that carries in itself no actual life. Maybe it's the strange tales of an object that looks mortal, and yet can survive the death of those around it who bear actual life. And maybe we want to create something alive, something with that survivability, that can be immune to time, and can rise above mortal imperfections and frailties.

Whatever the cause, dollmakers make toys, just as these were colored by elfstar89. And that's just where the stories of each doll begin.

Familiars and other Stars will likely join the crowd, as we've been shorthanded, but expect the completed pieces to make up for the wait, and be ready to update your prefs.

Rules
Tickets cost 100g each.
All trades for the Paid Raffle goes to Dream Dancers.
Please label all trades "Paid Raffle Tickets (Number of Tickets)"!
To order tickets you must post HERE, NOT the Main Thread.
Your preference decides which you will get if you are the first rolled.
The later winners will get the first remaining Star or familiar on their preference list.
