Night after night those dreams had come. Ones that seemed so genuinely real that when he woke he truly thought he'd be in that horrible world again. And with something so real, so.. So terrifying, he found peace. In the few hours he allowed himself to stay conscious, Nischal focused on school, on those classes that he needed to take in order to not be taken away from this little apartment he called his own. But any other time, he allowed the world of dreams to take him away. The whole world inside of the dream was darkness. He knew in these dreams there was something special. Not only because he could connect to something, felt something so much more tangible than just nonsense his dreams normally were, but because he could feel the hole in his being, that emptiness that had been trying to swallow him hole slowly start to close.

Though his dreams continued night after night, picking up right where they left off, it felt like when he finally awakened he couldn't remember it clearly. He remembered his purpose there, his life, his children, children he'd have to seek out in the future at some point, but there was one final piece he couldn't remember... Every night the same face came around. One that was familiar but he couldn't place. One that just drove him wild with frustration from not being able to put a name to that face. And each night he slept, hoping, praying to see that face again, to figure out who it was..

Why was this person so important? Because he didn't abandon him. Things got terrible and bloody and the world was so hateful but this man stayed with him, held him, and made sure, even in the end, that Avior and his kids fled safely. And he KNEW this man. Somehow, somewhere, he knew. And there was such a strong urge to go find him, to see if, whoever this man was, could help him now. Could take him and stop this just.. This feeling of unimportance he held so tightly onto. This man, he could make it stop. Nischal just knew it.

Then one night, out of nowhere, the dreams stopped. Over and over again, Nischal tried to dream again, to feel the man's touch, but he couldn't. Suddenly his world became dark again. He had not even his dreams to look forward to.. But they did give him something.. The last dream, that last memory of pushing into space with his children and this man.. Such an important place had a name, and that name stuck, one he knew, one he had to find. Naos.

Once night came, for the first time since his accident nearly six months ago, he powered up, becoming Avior once more. It felt strange, so strange, having such power again. He turned his gaze towards the mirror in his room. It had gathered such dust that he could hardly see himself through it. How was his organization even doing any more, he couldn't say. But that didn't matter right now. He had a goal, and the mirror was quickly wiped down, revealing it's true, sparkling nature.

Without a further moment wasted, he stepped through, arriving through a small mirror'ed door in the neighborhood where he had first met the young man.. Though the chances were slim, maybe he could find him again.. He NEEDED to find him again. He could help. He really could help, Avior was sure of it.

Since the dreams, (memories?), life had not been very easy for Glen. Sure, there was school, and his movies, and the prospect of hunting for a job and college, but all of that was a cake walk if you could, you know, find the courage to actually talk again, fight back the overwhelming despair and sense of hopeless these dreams, no, these night terrors had brought to him.

It had begun from the moment the terrors began. Glen acted fine, as if just suffering a mild bout of insomnia, which he wrote off as movie marathons that got out of hand to anyone who asked, and he even talked. But gradually, the terrors had begun to overwhelm him, feel more real and tangible than anything else. And they began to interfere with his day to day life. Going to school and seeing a few of the guys in his classes, knowing they were here, and alive, but remembering the dead and energy drained faces in his dreams, now strangely super imposed onto them. And the same thing happened out of school as well; from shops, to customers and store workers, to buildings and just about everything. But still he didn't budge from his much more quiet 'I'm Fine, just haven't been sleeping' and eating he wouldn't add. At this point, even the movies stopped, they couldn't mask the horror anymore. Though, that wasn't really what led him to this point, the point of leaving home night after night, silently patrolling his neighborhood, or perhaps thinking, while he was Naos.

No, the point had been when his family had gathered for dinner, his mom, dad, aunt and cousin and uncle, and instead of seeing a somewhat happy family (his mom and aunt eyeing him suspiciously, his dad and uncle and cousin, deeply concerned) he saw mangled faces, pleading looks turned to blind eyes, staring into the void as blood still ran down their bodies, and pooled to the floor, as well as pain, so much pain around his neck, and a feeling of drowning. And it was then he bolted, running to the bathroom to throw up, then to lock himself away, only coming out to go to school, as he was sadly required to do, and even then he was now the first to arrive, leaving his house before either of his parents woke up, and staying long enough to not arouse suspicion when he was home, then leaving to patrol until 3, and then rest for two hours, before starting again.

Yes, he really hated to sleep now, though he knew he needed it.

In all of that time, before the dreams had started, to when even in the two hours per night, he knew they had stopped at last, he would recall being somewhat happy with a man (A man!? He hadn't--he didn't even now! Or care!...did he?) and children, so many of them, all of them as sad as himself and the man. He'd dream of warm hands, a slender body, peaceful nights and active playtime in the day, when he could. He saw himself leading them away, escaping even as his own life drained away and knowing they would have to see, that he would have to watch as Glen died, that Avior would see.

Avior, that was the others name? He would wonder, and suddenly, these simple thought time/patrol time walks became 'look for Avior' time. If he saw senshi, he would never ask, he didnt want them to see him anyway, he knew how he looked now, and besides, it's not like he'd answer.

There was a sort of fear that began to take ahold of Avior the closer he found himself getting closer to his destination. What if those dreams truly meant nothing? What if they were only in mind, and that Naos wouldn't have a single reason to see him again? After all, he did change, he did go and join this organization that just... Just seemed further and further away from the world he wanted to be part of originally. Even if the dreams were fragmented, he remembered his organization neglecting him, judging him for the decisions he made in relation to the children in his care. They called him the Negaverse's whore, all sorts of cruel things and he just took it. ... It never mattered to him, even now, none of that mattered. How much did he truly care for the Dark Mirror Court at this moment? Hardly any..

Even larger bits of fear crept in his mind though.. What if Naos was there? What if the dreams were shared? What if it meant absolutely nothing to Naos, that to him, dreams were dreams and nothing more?

Avior now stood below the giant tree where they had met the first time, looking up into it and hoping that Naos wasn't there.. And he wasn't. And the relief he thought he was going to feel was just this intense sadness that seemed impossible to shake off. It nearly froze him in place, leaving him just enough strength to put his back against the tree and slide down to it's base, his legs coming up to his chest, hiding tucked up under these terrible robes he wore. Was there even a real reason behind his want to change sides anyway..? It was stupid, so stupid, he was alone..

There was no need for Naos to have meet him anyway.. He would just become a burden to the other man. Just another thing to worry about, he'd become. Just like he had become to all the other's he knew.. He was useless and just needed to be carry everywhere. Instead of taking that help they offered, he found himself not deserving it, and hiding more and more into his room every day, even after being released from the hospital.

Why did he think that Naos would be any different..?

He sat there for a time, not thinking, not crying, not letting anything bother him besides the chill from the autumn air that drifted about him. Yet soon enough, there was something coming. An aura of someone weak. They must have still been just a basic senshi, someone if he truly wanted to, could just rip apart. But he had no want to fight anyone. Maybe they could kill him, if they were truly one of those vengeful senshi that fluttered about both in this world and his dreams.

"I don't know who's there, but I'm not fighting tonight." Was... Was that how his voice sounded? It had been weeks since he spoke louder than a whisper or a muttered phrase. Not due to lack of willingness to do so, but due to the thought that anything he said just wasn't worth going to bother someone else about. Maybe whoever this Senshi was, it wouldn't matter to them either..

Naos stopped at the voice, the achingly familiar voice. Naos tried to respond, but nothing came out but a squeak. Realizing that would not look good in this situation, he moved closer to Avior, (that was him, right? It had to be.), gently tapping him on the shoulder after remembering that he also didnt have the bells to alert the other, not yet anyway.

If this wasnt Avior, and god, he hoped it was, then he was unsure of what to do, if it was anyone else of the dark mirror court or the negaverse anyway. Except, to maybe run. He may be messed up right now, but death was not an option he was privy to taking. He felt his hands shake, at the emotions of the moment or the thought of dieing, he couldnt say.

The tap on his shoulder did not bother Avior at all. Why should he honestly be afraid of someone who felt so.. so unnaturally weak to him. If they were to even try to attack, he'd have his box on them in a second, and just leave. Avior would have taken that as a sign that he just didn't belong here. This wasn't the place he needed to be.. There was no Naos waiting for him like he had dreamed so many times to be the case. That wasn't the case however, the hand that touched his shoulder was familiar enough that Avior simply slowly turned around and prepared himself to give whoever it was a lecture about sneaking up on people.

Golden eyes met grey and found themselves stunned to silence. Yes he had been looking for this boy, yes, he ad wanted nothing more than to see him, to find him and make sure that everything was alright but now that he was here before Avior he had no idea what to say. By Naos' silence, Avior couldn't help but imagine that the other Argo Navis Senshi felt the same, at least in some little form.

For the first time in what felt like months, Avior found himself crying. Not a sob, or a stressed sort of cry. Nothing gross or filled with grief and sorry like he had in the past. It was more of a slow, silent stream of tears that came oozing out as his arms came out to wrap themselves around Naos' middle. He leaned forward, resting his chin on the other's shoulder and allowed himself to shakily, very softly whisper to the other, fighting as hard as he could not to let his voice crack.

"You're alright, you're alive.. And you're here, and you're real and I just... Thank whoever.. I'm glad, Naos, I truly am!" In his moment of happiness, his moment of bliss, he pulled away so slightly, only to return by pressing his lips in a firm but fleeting manner against the other senshi's. He would have never thought that this would be the circumstance in which he gave away his second kiss, but it seemed more than worth it, even if it could hardly do the amount of relief he felt justice.

It was Avior! Finally! At that Naos felt a sort of dam break, and he greedily responded in kind to Aviors touch, his tears his kiss.

.....Wait....KISS!? Naos, in that moment of relief also seemed to regain some of himself, and with that came awareness that he was about to full on make out with a guy, a guy he didn't even know outside of all this crazy alien stuff. That and he didn't want to remember how much he enjoyed it, strange future dream thing or now. Blushing, he gently moved Avior away from himself, looking ridiculous doing so in his opinion, the guy was shorter and lighter than him, he really shouldn't have had to do that. (and was he burning? oh god it felt like it.) He breathed, hearing how raspy his voice sounded at the slight gasp he made.

"You're....here...alive" He was embarrassed, oh hell. He wrapped his arms around himself, further embarrassed he was without a jacket. "No kissing...kay?" yeah, small sentences Naos, you can do it."Sorry, s'odd, but, i've missed you." And he had, it was why he wandered now after all, though now he just couldnt be sure why.

Being gently moved away as he was seemed to startle Avior back into this reality again. He wasn't the older caretaker of those orphans anymore, but an orphan himself now. And this boy before him wasn't his lover and confidant, but a stranger who grew up into him. This person could have been someone entirely different, someone who still hated people like himself, those who value mirrors in a different sense than most. But even though brief, his kiss was reciprocated almost eagerly. That left Avior feeling dazed and happy, even if this boy wasn't the same one he knew in his dark and crazy future.

"I am! I am here and so are you.. I'm sorry about the kissing I just.. Well, I take it that since you responded..." His cheeks tinged a slight hue. "Since you responded in like.. I guess I can assume you are here for the same reason I am. Those dreams... I can hear your voice again.. I thought I'd never hear it.. But that's alright, it's all alright now, I mean.. We're both here, we're both alive.. And I don't care about if they were dreams or not, because what I feel, this relief is so very real.."

Avior wasn't sure what else to say about what was happening, but it felt wonderful.

"I've missed you too... Are.. Uh.. Are you well?"

Still blushing, Naos muttered that it was fine. He took a few minutes to compose himself, debated lying, but he didn't. After all, if anyone would understand, it would be Avior. "No, i've been awful. This time since we woke up has been....well, it's like waking up to a horror movie, except your the only one who can see it all around you. Do you get that?" He wrapped his arms around himself, frowning. "I cant even really enjoy the things that made me feel at least a bit better!" But those were an escape from a different reality, so he understood that. He leaned a bit down towards Avior, as if taking his warmth. "And you?"
