Mintaka quietly contemplated the memories she kept having, by sitting on the edge of the roof facing away from the city.
She had many memories of outside of the city, and sometimes her gaze would trail to the estate her grandparents owned where she had housed many people, of all factions.
And sometimes she would remember she was only Mintaka, just a super senshi and not a eternal one.
It was a shame really, but one day, maybe she could do super good like that. She felt the tinge of the neptune's knight coming her way and her heart fluttered just a little. Nysa. Someone she relied and crushed very much on.
Perhaps he could come this way, she would hope. or she could find him.

It was a quiet evening. There was a drastic lack of Chaos energies looming in the city, which made his patrol unusually relaxing. There was just something so conflicting about feeling at ease while seeking out the evils of the city.
When the opportunity arose to encounter someone, the Knight took up the chance. It was none who served the Negaverse, and it none under the title of the Dark Mirror. The aura did not feel similar to the knights, which left only one other possibility.
Approaching directly, the lad stopped upon the opposite building facing the young lady. From his spot, the young man lowered his upper body slightly for a bow.
"Good evening, Miss Mintaka. How are you this fair evening?"

"Ah, Sir Nysa!" Mintaka smiled sadly at the Knight, her usual cheer at her sudden princely crush well...crushed under memories she seemed to not be able to control.
And as she looked at him, she wondered if he would remember the future or if because he had passed....That was a morbid and depressing thought line, especially now that he was here and with her and actually talking to her.
"The evening fairs....well..." She shrugged, her shoulders sagging just a bit. "Difficult I suppose. I've many thoughts, and no way to answer them."
She looked at him again, soaking in the blue and the knightly attire and remembering in this time, Nysa was alive and okay.
"I'm glad to see you tonight Nysa."

The man tilted his head as he considered the lady's response. Her posture was not quite up to her typical confident standards. From his spot, he touched the edge of his cheek.
Politely, he replied "And I, you, Miss Mintaka."
However, instead of filling in the gap between the buildings, he kept himself at the distance, in case it was his presence that was disrupting her mood.
"Might I ask why the evening is difficult? Anything specific you would like to talk about? I may not have the answers, but I may be able to offer a willing set of ears to listen with."

Part of her really disliked seeming unladylike in any sort of way, and though she knew in her head she needed to straighten up and talk with confidence, she lacked the where too actually do it.
"There has been strange memories coming to me Nysa." She turned her sad smile at him and then away. Her legs coming up so that she could rest her chin on her knees.
The distance didn't bother her, but was comforting he was willing to listen without invading. He was such a wonderful comfortable person to talk to, She already knew this.
Perhaps she'd be allowed to indulge in a little wallowing with him.
"From a future that could be." She sighed, "And it shakes my heart and my resolve about the future I am working to now."

Of all the things he might have expected to be bothering the senshi, "memories" of a future that could be was not necessarily on the list of things he would have guessed.
He placed his fingers over his lip as he considered how to respond. Eventually, he mentioned "I think such things would probably be called 'visions'... rather than memories... if only because it is something that is set in stone to happen. However, that is just semantics at this point."
He was not certain what to make of it, since he had no legitimate experience with a potential future. Was Mintaka having an episode? Or was he missing out on something important? There were many questions he could have asked, but it was not the time to ask.
"The future is never set in stone, Miss Mintaka. I always view it as something fragile in nature and ever changing and evolving. Even with these visions you mention, just being able to witness them... gives you an upper hand. The slightest change can alter the whole outcome."
With a smile, he added "Call me an optimist, but if you concentrate on creating good in the present, then you can create good in the future."

"Um..." She pursued her lips, "I'm sorry I don't think I explained...clearly. When I say memories, I see the future, but I also feel what my future self felt.....I remember things about other people that I don't even know now." She shook her head, "I sound like I am going crazy, but I can't help....it's like memories. If it were as simple as visions, I think I could handle them..."
She paused again, "I'm...I don't think I am the only one. I've met people, that I didn't know today and know in the future and they know me like I know them." She brought her hand up, "It's so frustrating."
But his words brought her back and she sighed again. "No you are right. This is not just my future, it could be, and it couldn't be..." She waited another beat.
"Nysa, in this future...I didn't see you, I couldn't find you." She looked away, "And I wonder, do you have nothing? You haven't seen anything?"

Perhaps they were mass hallucinations... was the first thought to come to mind, though Nysa did not allow himself to say such a thought aloud. The whole ordeal was intriguing in a nearly morbid way to him, though his features remained pleasantly neutral.
There was only a hint of reaction from the Knight when she spoke of Nysa's own fate woven in this odd future Mintaka had seen. He shifted his hand from his lip to his cheek.
"What you are speaking of right now, Miss Mintaka, is the first I am hearing of this ordeal."
Perhaps this situation was similar to that strange nightmare world he had witnessed when the coma epidemic had struck Destiny City. Not everyone had been affected, but those that were affected had encountered a whole population of individuals who had also been affected.

She sighed again, resting her hands in her lap and wondering if she was perhaps scaring or worrying or bothering Nysa with this.
It was her first experience with the ordeal, and others, ones she did know had the same problem.
"You haven't heard of any others? Of anyone else in order with this?" She clasped her hands around her head and burrowed her head in her knees. "Am I going crazy then?"
She felt like it. For just a moment, it seemed the girl would lose it and burst into tears. but her body went limp after a moment and there was a deep breath.
When she looked back up to him, it was a very well placed and controlled smile. "Sorry, Perhaps we should just forget about this Sir Nysa." She laughed daintly, waving her hand. "How are your patrols this evening? Youma free I would hope."

Nysa loyally stayed put upon the opposite building, but he eventually gestured towards the one which Mintaka occupied.
"If I may...?" he asked, glancing to the girl, briefly waiting for any hint of approval. Only once he saw some sort of confirmation did he fill the gap, hopping to the new building. His cape fluttered back elegantly as he landed.
Despite joining her upon the same building, he respectfully remained distanced.
"Every person has different experiences. In this magic-filled world, those experiences vary greatly now. Truth be told, a few years ago, I experienced something which many others did not. I will not go into specifics, but it was rather trying to remember something so vividly, then to speak to those you love and respect who could not relate. It shakes the foundation of your beliefs."
A couple stray hairs managed to whip out a bit as a gust of wind hit him, but in a cool manner, he used a gloved hand to brush the hairs back into the fold.
"I will not claim to understand what it is you have experienced, for that would be an outright lie. However, I am willing to listen to your grievances as best as I can. I am willing to lend you a willing ear that I was unable to get when I went through my own magical ordeal."
Another gentle breeze blew, gently rustling the white feather decorating his hair.

"Please do!" Mintaka scooted as if offering the whole rooftop and to be honest, she was slightly hoping he'd join her. It was easier to talk if she didn't have to remain in eye contact but...still close? if that made sense.
His words still eased her, and she wondered if the man understood that he was very wise and very calming, If people ever told him that? She was trying to keep the act of a lady up.
She'd probably remember this moment, on the verge of a sort of mental breakdown, and Nysa coming to help her with his words and his kindness. The wind blowing his hair (dramatically), the sweep of his cape. Everything screamed prince to her, and her heart beat in the sense that it was very much romanticized.
"I really don't want to burden you with such troublesome things but-" She hesitated, looking away. "But if you had something similar and you are offering, then I will gladly take it. And if ever there is a time you need me, then I will return the favor."
She gnawed on her lip and then looked up at him.
"I have 5 years of visions in my mind, and most of them are crystal clear...and some of them are fuzzy. But I remember a future..Or I saw future. Negaverse ruled it all, They had everyone on their side. They could walk around in powered form all day and night. Senshi were terrorist, even some of the dark mirror court. I have memories of opening a refugee, for all types. Dark mirror, negaverse, white court. Anyone who wanted peace and not fighting. I wasn't unhappy, and I was loved. Even well on my way to making a family. Married, newly pregnant." She shook her head. "But I saw death, and fire and destruction and terrible...terrible things Nysa." She sighed, "And I can't tell if it'll change the way I should think, the way I want too. Or if I should continue the path it showed me..."

Politely he set his arms by his side and leaned forward for a partial bow. "I will keep that in mind, Miss Mintaka. Please, go ahead."
He stood himself up right once more and listened.
Some aspects of her explanation were outright disturbing. It was indeed a grim future if the Negaverse was in such control. However, the aspect of a senshi's status with the general public was not that much different from the present.
Once the girl's voice began to dwindle, Nysa mentioned "I am uncertain if it would be appropriate to congratulate you over the marriage and pregnancy, Miss Mintaka. Since as you have stated, it has happened, but it also has not happened."
His smile tugged itself up a bit on his cheek before he dulled it back to a more neutral smile. "So now it would seem as if you have the classic dilemma at your hands. Do you continue to live your life as you see fit, trying to pursue a good future as you believed before? Or do you purposely alter the way you move forward to purposely change the future? I do not envy the position you have been put in, Miss Mintaka, since both routes could potentially yield the results you desire, or the results you would dislike."

She wanted him to tell her what she should do, give her the direction she wanted and pretended she needed.
Even when she knew that she had already chosen her way.
"There is somebody I can't give up, somebody I don't want too. So I set my path with him, and we'll see how it goes." But it didn't answer her question, "I want to be neutral, to be open. I want to learn more about the planets and the universe." She smiled at him now, relaxing a little more.
"And I don't want to fight. I don't think I can handle anymore fighting."

Subconsciously, a gloved hand lifted up to brush the feather adorning his hair. It was as if he was acknowledging the Odelian who was resting in the antique. His ancestor had told of how the species was a peaceful sort of bird that was native to his wonder.
Slipping his hand past the feather and bringing it back to his side again, the lad nodded his head to the senshi.
"Not all paths lead to violence or fighting, Miss Mintaka. Not all roles are meant to be that of a warrior. If you feel your strengths would be best utilized away from the battle field, then please do pursue that path."
He took a moment before he delicately reached up and removed the rose pin fastening the feather to his hair, holding it out for the senshi to look at.
"I will be honest, prior to joining this magical war plaguing the city, I was a pacifist. Though my own path now does involve a bit of conflict, I still hold pacifism as one of my core beliefs."
The hand opposite of one holding the hairpin stroked the white feather.
"This heirloom is a constant reminder to me that fighting is not the only option at any time." There was a pause. "However, that also does not mean that fighting is never an option either. One needs to weigh when fighting is or is not the proper option."

"I wish to think that, and somehow, my future self was very good at avoiding it. Nowadays? It seems like all we do is fight, all I do is battle." She sighed, "But I am trying, and you are right. You are very much right." She let one more sigh go.
"You have such a calm and rationale way of thinking, I admire it greatly you know." She smiled up at him, "And I could believe that you are pursuing your path with all your wits about you." She took a moment to lean over and look at the pin, the rose pin. Her head cocked curiously up at him.
"What is it? And what does it remind you of?" She reached up to touch it gently, and for a moment, she was sure a blush was rising at the indirect contact of her hand to his. She very much liked Aurostibite, and she had chosen him.
She just couldn't help the respect and admiration for the Blue prince in front of her.
"When will I learn to do that..." She said out loud, though she hadn't meant too.
