*Red had stumbled into this place. The land was beautiful here, the lush green, the amazing place that surrounded her. She didnt know what to say, but she was amazed. In all her travels she had never stumbled into a place such as this. She looked around and found herself in a graveyard. she placed some flowers at the graves those fallen. She didnt know who any of them were, but she knew it would be wrong to not have some amount of respect for the fallen. She looked out over the horizon to see the clans fighting. She wondered what had caused this and wondered if there was right or wrong answer in this war. She didnt know what would create such chaos in a beautiful land amongst some of the rarest creatures in existence. Red moved on her way after she was done with the graveyard. She wondered if any of the dragons were not involved in this and if anyone had any information on this situation at hand.*

 Myst flew quickly to the burial grounds, passing over them until she saw the orchard on the far side. She landed gently on the ground, then lay down so that the young man could climb off her back. Through those trees lies the orchard, she told him, pointing with her muzzle. You will find the fruit there. I will await you here.

*Chainer climbed down and saw the fruits. the smell was delicious to him. He climbed up the tree and inspected the fruit, then picked the one that seemed the ripest and most appealing looking to him. Chainer hopped down, and stepped back to make sure he didnt destroy the tree after. He took a bite and tried the fruit. It was juicy and succulent to him, unlike anything he had ever tasted. He felt different, and ate the whole fruit, he then felt his body morphing. He had full blown wings, and a long tail. He let the whole transformation happen, and didnt fight it. finally he was done and became the dragon he was deep down. He realized that he was significantly smaller than others, but that didnt bother him.
"So if I need to, I can go back to my human form right?"

Myst waited for the young man, just as she said she would, lying in a patch of sunlight with her eyes closed. She knew what was happening the moment she felt a shift in the air. The young man returned in his dragon form. He was a light shade of emerald green, with a claw on the joint of each wing and a long tail. Spikes grew from the back of his head, making him look a bit bigger than he actually was. She raised her head when he spoke, asking if he would be able to return to his human form if he needed to. Yes, each of us have a human form that we are able to shift to at will, she told him, although some of us choose not to. She was referring mainly to herself, but there were a few others that chose to stay in their dragon form. Come, young dragon, she said. We will return to the others. Seeing as you have not flown on your own before, would you like me to stay beside you as we travel?

DragonFang09 Thanks! I wanted him to look like an earth dragon with wings. he is pretty small compared to the other dragons right now, and I couldnt fine one with glowing purple on his wings. maybe when he is pissed or at night he will glow at night.

Myst watched as the young dragon flapped his wings and hovered over the ground before landing again. He agreed to her suggestion, and she rose from her spot on the ground. She looked down as she realized she towered over him. Shaking her head, she spoke, giving him directions on how to lift off and stay aloft. To get into the air, you'll need to lift your wings until they are nearly touching over your back, like this, she said, demonstrating what she meant. Once you've done that, bring them down in a powerful sweep, and it will lift you off the ground. She showed him how to do this, lifting off the ground with a single, powerful stroke of her wings.

*Chainer did as instructed and instantly he took off. He blinked a few times, being amazed at the height at which he was able to go. He had never been this high up before, not even by climbing trees. Chainer looked around at his surroundings and was amazed at everything. Everything looked different from up here and everything had a different look to him. The colors were so vivid and lively, as well as the colors on Myst were even different now. She looked even more like mist than in his human form. He flew in circles a little to make sure he wasnt dreaming,and to see how amazing his wings were. They were very strong for a newbie at this, and he didnt know what to think, but he liked it now. This was way better than walking around on human legs.* alright, let's go back to training!

Myst watched as the young dragon did as she instructed, taking off almost immediately. She watched from her spot in the air, keeping close to make sure he wouldn't have any trouble. She watched as he flew in circles a few times, then nodded when he said they should go back to the training grounds. Follow me, then, she said, taking off in the direction of the training grounds. Although she could have gotten back quickly, she matched her pace to his, just in case any problems should arise.

*Chainer flew alongside her and seemed content to be able to fly. He never thought it was possible, and yet here he was, happily flying through the air. He touched clouds and then came back to his new instructor.* "This is great! I can see why some wouldnt want to hide as humans, but where I come from, I was taught as a human, and had to be like them. I dont think my mom ever knew, but if I need to hide, now I know how to. the wind feels great."

Myst nodded as he spoke. She knew that some dragons chose not to take on their human form, herself being one of them, but she also knew of only one dragon that was unable to shift to their human form. Some dragons, myself included, are content with staying in our dragon form, and see no reason to shift to our human ones, she said. However, there is only one dragon that I have ever heard of that was unable to shift to their human form. She paused for a moment, trying to remember the dragon's name. If I remember correctly, his name was Grunt Redclaw. The reason for his surname is found in history books, but no one was ever able to figure out why he was unable to shift to his human form.

I see. well I'm stumped, but then again, I dont know a lot about this realm. but hey, I'm sure I'll adapt quickly. so what started this war? why is everyone fighting one another? and how do we know something more sinister isnt out there? what if a humanoid that wasnt dragon came through and ate the fruit? would they be turned? would it be possible?

*As they were in the air, an unknown being had left the graveyard and snuck over to the tree with the fruit. She wasnt sure how she got here, but knowing she didnt want to return where she came from, and wanted nothing more to do with humans. she was done with them. Humans were pitiful and awful creatures that were money hungry. All they wanted was to do experiments and make money off animals. She was now the result of one and would forever have a tattoo on her neck. she hated it, and never wanted to see a human as long as she lived. the young girl had a name. It was X-17 and that was on her tattoo, but she called herself, Red. She hated any humans, and what better place to live, then amongst dragons. She stole a piece of fruit and ate the whole thing rapidly. She was very hungry and skittish of others. Her body slowly transformed into a new form. She was now black with a white belly with a hint of Red near her mouth and on her scales. She looked like a Japanese water dragon. She could now camouflage at night better, and use her counter shading abilities. The interesting thing about her being a water dragon, she could fly without wings. She was somehow able to fly without the use of wings, but she needed to seek water and soon, she didnt like being in the air anymore. Red found a place nearby for now, and hid in it, to get her satisfaction of being in the water. She felt happy in the small lake she had stumbled into. It wasnt what she was looking for, but she found a source. She had to hide for now, and decide who's team she would fight for. Red wanted nothing more than to fight now, but she had to rest in the water and think where her loyalties would lie. Perhaps later she could find another dragon and talk to them.*

Myst nodded when the young dragon said he was sure he would adapt quickly. She listened as he started asking questions, then answered them as best she could. Onyx Blackheart started the war over a thousand years ago, she said. He was the leader of the evil clan before his son, Jet, took over a century ago. Jet is every bit as ruthless and cruel as his father was, if not more so. Onyx decided that he wanted to be ruler over all three territories, so he started out spreading lies among the clans, and it wasn't long before the good and evil clans were at war. The good clan fights only to protect their land and ours, while the evil clan fights for total domination over the territories.
She fell silent as she thought back to when she'd left the good clan and come here. The younger dragon's next few questions snapped her out of her reverie. She shook her head. The only thing that is sincerely sinister is Jet Blackheart, she said. That dragon truly has a black heart, and will stop at nothing to achieve his ambition. And yes, if anyone other than a dragon eats the fruit, they will be able to turn into a dragon, although they may not have the ability to shift back to their human form. Besides, such a thing has never been heard of before. At that moment, she felt an unknown presence nearby, and she looked down to see a lake with something resting in it. She had no idea what it was, but there weren't many things it could be besides a dragon. She turned her attention back to the young dragon. I apologize for not introducing myself sooner, she said. I am Myst Silvertalon. What is your name?

((omg.. this is the 4th time I try to post this....)) *He looked concerned about that random surge of power he just felt in the direction of the tree and the lake. He looked nervous about what just happened over there, but he realized he shouldnt worry about something like that, all those emotions and that surge of rage coming from over there in that lake. What kind of dragon was that ? was it even a dragon? oh well, he would investigate much later. Maybe it was confused? he was interested in what that was, but he had work to do, and had to become a strong dragon. He had much to learn. He smiled sweetly at Myst. Another thought came to his mind. What if that one dragont that couldnt go back to being in human form, what if that dragon was from another realm, like the human realm and thats why they couldnt transform? but who knew. maybe a different humanoid could prove it wrong? who knew. But he didnt know any at this time, he knew of experiments created by scientists back in the human realm, but he wasnt sure if any actually existed. *
My name is Chainer Ryuujin. I'm not sure if that is a common last name or not, but I know its the last name of my grandfather. He was a dragon that enjoyed living among the humans. I think he had a thing for the human females. Have you ever met a human besides me?
