I was friends with someone who was feeling down in the dumps, like I was, and he told me how he missed his brother, and how his other brother acts as if my friend were trash, no matter how hard my friend tried to change. Then, in his profile, he said he can't do it anymore, and it sounds to me like he committed suicide. I want to find out if he is dead or alive, but I can't because he lives in Italy. I tried finding out over the web, but all I got were restaurants and suicide articles that didn't mention names.
He deactivated his facebook too, and now I'm scared he may have gone and suicided. I wish I knew if he were dead or alive. I should have stayed up to talk to him instead of going to bed.

Sadly, I don't have any of those options you offered. He deactivated his facebook account too, and I do not know anyone who knows him. You're in kind of a tough spot, then, to be frank. All I can really suggest is perhaps trying to Google him. If you know what city he lives in then all I can really tell you is to try and find out, via search, what the newspapers in that city are and check their obituaries.
