It had been a fairly quiet night in destiny city, and with the surge and slow memory gain of her future self, Mintaka was feeling more at ease with patrolling at night.
She donned herself as the senshi of origami and searched the streets for a youma or two.
Instead her gaze met that of a redheaded negaverse lieutenant, freezing her in her spot. She hadn't even noticed his aura, where did he pop from then.

Limonite had actually been ready to call it quits for the night and head home. He had a long shift early in the morning at the hospital, and he was supposed to have dinner with Connor tonight. It was movie night.
His shoulders slumped when his eyes landed on the pale senshi. He couldn't really pretend she wasn't there. "Alright, let's make this quick," he sighed, squaring off his stance a bit.

"I'm not sure if I understand..." Mintaka blinked, "Make what quick?"
Unless he wanted to battle in which case...he was lower ranked then her, so she could probably handle like...knocking him out so he didn't attack anyone else if she needed, though she didn't want too.
"You don't have...to fight you know..."

Oh no. She was actually a peacekeeper. He groaned. That made this so much more difficult than it had to be.
"You see this handsome suit?" He asked, pulling at the wide collar of his jacket. "It means I kinda do." He took a few steps closer, keeping tense and aware. He was still new to... pretty much all of this, but he was pretty sure she was high ranked. Or.. well higher than a peon like him.
He was going to get crushed. Dammit.

"Handsome?" Mintaka's brow shot up all the way to her hairline, sure the negaversers were very militaristic simple and it had its appeal, but this negaversers wasn't quite her type.
She casually thought, and a bit rudely, that Aurostibite had a little more flair with his uniform. In a simple handsome way.
"If you insist then." Mintaka moved fast and quick, hoping just to knock the poor lieutenant out and call Merlinite to pick him up or something....
Or maybe leave him for another to find, but in a comfortable position. With snacks and a bottle of water....oh and aspirin. She probably had those with her now that she carried a first aid kit for Antiope...

His shoulders fell a little. Why did she make it sound skeptical? It was totally a handsome suit.

He threw his arms up as she came at him, crossing them in front of himself to shield from the blow. It wasn't a whole lot of use though, she was clearly stronger. And he had nothing but his glowstick.
It wasn't easy to glowstick someone to death.
He threw a punch, because that was really all that was in his arsenal.

Her brows rose again at his kicked puppy dog look. Why did it matter what she thought anyways. She was just another face in the crowd. Well in the moon court crowd. But yes, anyways she was just another face.
His defense almost threw her off, but she was a super and quite adjusted to the way people reacted now. Thanks to the defending she had to do herself.
His punch almost got her in the face, but she shifted, feeling the string of it on her shoulder.
"I'm really sorry for this." She uttered, pulling back her leg and spinning it at his torso, mimicking the way Antiope had showed her from the day in the park.
Something move crane style kick attack go.

"s**t!" He shouted, totally unprepared for the kick. It knocked him off balance and he went sprawling onto the ground. So much for his handsome suit. It was going to be all dirty now.
He maybe shouldn't have picked a fight? She'd offered him an out, but as negaverse this is what he was supposed to do, right? Take on the enemy? Defend his city against this bullshit?
He rolled to his knees, but his side twinged and he grunted in pain. Stupid karate senshis. "I don't want your apologies."

Mintaka watched as the kick actually hit, sending the man sprawling to the ground.
See, she didn't like fighting and to watch him go down, without so much as a kick made her feel shamed and sad. Especially as her apology was ignored.
Instead, she walked around him, picking him up and setting him back on his feet. She casually dusted him off, as if she hadn't caused his 'handsome' suit to be ruined and sighed.
"I'm not going to fight you, and you aren't going to fight me. I'll make this easy for both of us." She held up her hands. "Origami Flurry!" Her magic started slow, as little shapes fell around each of them...then it grew harder, heavier. Like a thick blanket of papered shaped snow.
"Next time, please take the easier way out negaverse lieutenant." She faded into the shapes, into the snow like paper, then faded from his aura radar, by shifting back to Failyn and blending with the crowd.
