Creature Baowi -- Large and aggressive, an adult Baowi is too dangerous to capture alive and will never be tamed. But the cubs, if gotten at a young enough age, can be. A large portion of their diet needs to be fruits, berries, and other vegan supplements, with some meat during the fall and winter. Tamed baowi, once grown to adulthood, may be used as mounts. »»» One must be in an Adept, Orakoir or greater to attempt to capture a Baowi cub. »»» Step 1: Must capture them as a cub! -10 to capturing them since you must somehow get around the parents guarding the cub! »»» Step 3: +15 to train. Toki, after having talked with Grrel (after the girl finally got her scaly behind back home!), wanted to go see his friend Sameal's kids. His clan had recovered mostly from the Mara attacks, the warriors feeling very confident with the amount of Khehorians in the clan and the Magescians had backed off on raids.... mostly because they too were recovering. If there was a time to escape and go see Sam and he's nest it would be now! He left behind Firroth and Burla, his gigiomar and Arrical despite their complaints. This would involve flying, he really only needed his faes! Luckily his feureches was happy enough playing tag with the Orakoi and Orakoir that there was no need to sneak away from it! Pesha and Kashi flew about him, screeching happily as he flew towards where Grrel had told him the lair was. He met other Khehora, all who were polite enough to take a moment and keep him going in the correct direction. One who was of the clan actually offered to take him there directly... which Toki accepted after a moment. No need to be prideful if it would save time! With a mummer of thanks as he landed on the ledge outside, Toki snagged Kashi before she could run inside and put her on his back with a growl to make her stay. Silly faes. (229/300)

Keke was sunning at home today. Although every day had the potential to have a new adventure, sometimes it was nice to just enjoy being home. Strange screeches roused him from his easy sunning, and he opened his eyes to see a stranger land on the ledge with two very odd creatures: one flying around, and the other clinging to his back. The young khehora stared at them: they were remarkable, some sort of beast whos like he had never seen. “What are those?” he asked, as he lifted himself to his feet... of course, such a question would be his first to the stranger. Not a hello, not a how are you, not a who are you, but a what. (122/300)

"They are Fae dragons." Toki respond as he smelled the air to see ho was home. Sameal's scent was everywhere.. as was a faint scent of Grrel. The greatest other scents belong to a feathered diabi but... it was getting old. Maybe the mate that Grrel mentioned? The one that got driven off do to getting rid of an egg? The other scents belong to the young Khehora he was currently facing and a slightly younger female... and Suluksati! Hmm, Grrel didn't mention Sulu, he thought to himself before turning his attention to the boy. "Is Sameal home? I came to see him and his nest.. from which you are one of, yes?"

“Fae Dragons? What are those?” asked Kekeovonnai, staring at the little iridescent, sinuous beast, “I've never heard of them!” Tentatively, he stretched his neck towards one, sniffing it. They looked so interesting! “Oh!” he said, drawing back slightly, “Are you a friend of papa's?” he stretched like a feline, “He's not in right now – someone needed his help with something.” Keke wasn't sure what Papa was doing, but people seemed to need his help a lot: probably to do with him being a khehorian. Papa was very important, not that that meant much in Keke's mind. “But you can come into the cave and wait for him!” he said. The newcomer was interesting: tawny and scarred and smelling cleanly of ozone and heat. “Yes I am!” said Kekeovonnai, “Me and my sister Vazarri...” his voice became a conspirational whisper, “She's sleeping right now, though. It's too bright for her.” (274/300)

DraconicFeline You'll have to have Keke offer to join in since Toki'snot the type to randomly take non clan members out taming with him. At least, not unless they want to :3 Grrel forgot to mention how old Samael's nest was, he thought wryly. This one is almost fully grown by the scent and sound of him! Though he did sound still childish enough that Toki thought the lad's brain had not yet caught up to his body. "Fae's are what their name implies; a small dragon... Miniature in fact. I know they can speak draconic though they have no powers. Other than that, they act much like friendly tiny dragons." Toki smiled and walked back outside. "Well if your sister is napping, I shall come back another time as I do not wish to intrude. Perhaps later this evening after I have tried to find these things called Baowi's your father will be back." Since he was here in the mountains might as well try to add to his collection of animals! And he'd heard a Baowi was much like a smaller not as magical Arrical. At least they did not resurrect in the moonlight!

Miniature, unpowered dragons? “Thats fascinating!” Keke crooned, trying to nose up to one, though it moved away when it's master moved. Keke followed Toki as well. “Baowi?” he asked, surprised, “Oh! Oh! I know where they are!” he said, more a cheep than anything. He was still a young khehora, his body reaching it's adult mass long before his voice or his enthusiasm. “I can take you!” he said, postively wriggling at the thought. He did know where some Baowi made their homes in the expanse, and he'd thought they were interesting... Then again, everything was. “What're you going to do with them?” he asked and then, realizing his lapse, “What's your name, Elder?” Elder, of course, was a reasonable assumption because the Kiandri – wow, a kiandri - was old. "I am called Toki, and I train them. If they can be used as a guard or to aid me in seeing or hunting that's what I do.. or they end up as companions and play mates for the Orakoi and Orakoir of my tribe." If he caught them and they survived. Some got eaten while others didn't fare well in captivity and he left them fly free. "Would you take me to them? You might learn something and it is always helpful to have a set of eyes that can communicate with me." He said with a chuckle; the fae's could understand him somewhat but he could not really tell what they said. "If you know where a cub is.. I think it would best to start there. Adults are far harder to train."

Keke chirped. “Really?! My dad trains animals, too!” he looked surrepticiously at the caverns where they were kept, and where he was not officially allowed to go... not after he had accidentally chewed one of his father's pets. “Of course! I'll take you!” he said, bouncing, “I can't wait, I can't!” he said, bounding in place before trotting off, “Theres a family of them, with cubs and everything, and they live in this canyon, and its a really nice canyon because there's grass and such from the silt that gets dropped there, and even a berry bush!” he chattered. He hadn't yet figured out that the elder was blind – despite the hints dropped - but this Toki was an elder, and it was just so awesome. “The adults go off hunting in the day, and come back to the cubs before sunset...” he trotted easily amidst the stones, his earth magic keeping his feet sure. Finally, he found the canyon. “Here it is!” he said, as the soft scent of the riverbend – with its small floodplain – blossomed in the air. He turned to the elder, eager to please.

DraconicFeline I might be coming back 8D Guess who woke up today? RPing with baby keke.. who is now Khehorian.. dear lord I have been gone a while! Toki chuckled. "Oh yes... Sam did help me in capturing a few animals int he past.. has his hoard continued to grow?" He followed the gaili boy, glad that the lad knew the way so that Toki did not have to use his magic to guide or find the creatures. It was a tad too wasteful doing that! Instead he relied upon the youngster's sounds to figure out where to go. He was used to it after all; the children of his clan would often act as guides when he asked. He did, when Keke reached the valley, extend his static field ever so slightly to scan and find the creature. It was napping and he smiled. "Below and to our right, in a small den beneath a rock is a cub... would you like to go fetch it?" Perhaps a smaller khehora would make it less likely to flee.

“Oh yes! But he doesn't let us too close to them... not after vazzari tried to eat one... or after his baowi tried to eat me...” Keke giggled, “He was just playing, he wouldn't have really eaten me.” he explained, “But papa likes to be careful... but you knew that!” Ahhh, it was just so neat! A friend of Papas, an elder, from another tribe! Fetch it? Oh! “Yes! Yes, sure, of course!” chirped Keke, practically bouncing, desiring only to please this fascinating, wonderful person. He skipped down the crags of the mountainous riverbed with ease, wending his way quickly through the stones and into the fertile muck of the riverbed. Then, he remembered that stealth was probably the better option for bringing the cub back and he slowed, slinking along the ground until he reached the cave. He peeked inside – the cub was there, resting even as it played with a small stone. “Hello” said Keke, trotting in. “Baaaaw!” the cub cried, making a playful swipe at him with it's young claws. “Whats that?” Keke cooed, sneaking closer. “Baaw?” The cub appeared confused. “Rar!” Keke replied, tensing – he could grab the cub, fairly quickly... “Baw!” the cub bounced, wary but ready to play. Unfortuantely, what it got was keke's jaws at it's scruff. “Meeep!” it protested as Keke struggled to lift it off the ground. Wow, he thought, intrigued, it's heavy!Carefully, he brought the unhappy, squalling creature to where the elder waited. And then he set it down. “Got it!” he called, pleased with himself...
