A pair of boots in metallic turquoise walked along the corridor, a svelte figure in a red hooded vest leisurely stopped in front of a door, blowing bubblegum in light blue. She knocked on the door a few times, chewed the gum a few times and called, "Are you home? Let's go out to play." Then, she leaned against the wall aside, the eyes covered by long eyelashes looked down at her boots, hands in pocket, blowing the gum into a big bubble while she waited.

The words, and not the voice, struck a cold shock of fear in Maebe's heart. She did not want to play with anyone - especially after coming to grips with what she thought Lucky's current status was. But this was a girl's voice, and that alone made her open the door, and stare out into the hallway to peer at the girl waiting for her. "Uh." Maebe tilted her head and tried as hard as she could to place the face behind those long lashes and jet black hair. She felt a twinge of familiarity, but nothing that she could place - because she'd have to have cared enough about a person to remember that well. "I think you've got the wrong dorm, babe. I don't know you."

The pretty doll face had her head raised and then frozen for a second for the unexpected person that answered the door. She wrapped the gum in a tissue paper and put inside pocket, lips gently opened, "Oh-", she smiled sweetly and drawled with a lazy tone. "I'd rather he was hiding a beautiful mermaid in his room than I got the wrong room." The blue eyes of her met with Maebe's, "Then, he will owe me a favour." It was hard to tell if she was serious or just a joke.

Was this girl flirting with her? Maebe was all for a friendly flirt session, but she felt a little off her game with current issues as they were. She tried to look a little more interested, but something in her eyes told a different story than what her words said. "No one's ever called me a mermaid before. I hope that's a compliment, because I sure as hell don't smell like fish." Maebe twitched her nose and smirked. "So who were you looking for? Maybe I can help you find your way. Or help you get more lost. Depends on which is more fun."

The girl in the red hoodie vest giggled mindlessly, "Of course it's a compliment, to your beauty. Blonde golden hair with blue ocean-like eyes, don't you think it's the best description?" She shrugged and waved her hand idly, "Nah, he's probably hiding again. He's good at hide-and-seek (though he always found by me at last). Well - I'm just finding someone to treat with my boredom, so thanks for the offer." The shrewd blue eyes looked at Maebe, "And there's a so much better replacement now -", she lazily drawled again, suggestively. "I'm not gonna dig him up." A hand reached out to slide through a strand with golden color, "Wanna spend some time with me?"

Maebe had never considered her good looks to be similar to a mermaids, but upon thinking about it, she understood the connection. She did not, however, know what being a replacement for the girls hide and seek partner actually entailed. The hand that slid through her hair was met with a wry smile, but no real discontent. "As long as it doesn't involve any dark alleys or lonely corners, sure. But I have to warn you, I'm very good at hide and seek."

"You are soooooooo cute!" The girl in red hoodie teased followed by silvery giggles, she wasn't playing hide-and-seek with that "him", but something else not necessary to be told. "Oh~" The not-much-shorter girl drawled with a certain meaning, "Pretty mermaid is afraid of darkness? Nah~ We won't be going to the basement." She put her hands behind her back, bent down at an angle to lean forward, looking up with a gentle tilt, smiling. Standing straight again, "Prove it." The mouth that breathed like refreshing mint said. "Let's have a match then? However- it's boring to have win loss without reward and punishment, so-", she dragged her words, "-Let's do it this way: The one who loses have to fulfill the winner three requests, while the winner somehow gains a - minion?" The astute girl suggested.

Well, yes, she was cute. That was just a fact. Maebe did love a good bet, and she couldn't imagine the girl's requests to be that terrible, with that sweet smile and bright giggle. So she rolled her eyes and nodded, smirking with amusement. "Sounds fine to me. I could use someone to do my work for me." Ahh, a slave. She was looking forward to this. "So how do we do this? Best of three? How do we decide who hides and who seeks each round?"

The girl acted like some sort of lazy but smart feline, from expression to her posture. "You're a braver. I like that, mermaid." She smiled, eyes squinted into thin lines. "If only I know how to do your work." She added. "Alright, we use Rock-paper-scissors, the winner hides and the loser seeks. We will do it three times, the one who wins twice get the minion. Each round lasts for thirty minutes, the area limited to this dorm building minus the basement. Is that okay for you?" She smoothly spoke out the method as if she didn't need to think about it. "We can chat on twitter when we do it so it's less boring for both of us. Your twitter name, please?" The lazy-not-so-lazy soft voice asked. She picked out a phone with a red colored phone case.

Maebe's phone was out in a flash. "MaebeBaby. Let me spell that for you. M A E B E B A B Y. And I have one addendum." She prodded twitter open, and scrolled through it idly as she spoke. "Hiders need a way to win. So time frame for each game. What do you say to 20 minutes?" She hovered over the search function. "What's yours?"

The girl with half-lidded eyes pressed the buttons to search and got an empty account, a smile formed on her face, like a smirk. "20 is fine for me. Before I tell you mine, can you have a look here?" She didn't mind Maebe missed the part of "thirty minute time limitation" she mentioned and showed the blonde her screen. "Don't tell me this is you." The hoodie girl grinned. "You have been on this island since five years ago? Wow~ Also, I am afraid that some bugs messed up with it, it's empty now, sorry mermaid." All the way, the girl's tone was harmless and not pushy at all, just a hint of playful teasing. Nio Love You missed a "e" in the twitter name? Or Maebe is lying? XD

Maebe stared at a blank page, and for a split moment she had a heart stopping fear that someone had deleted her page spitefully. She started counting as she re-said the letters in her head, while looking at what the girl had written - "Damnit, I missed an e. It's M A E B E B A E B Y. Try that."

The hoodie girl watched as Maebe shoved her pretty face near her phone and then couldn't help but gave a silvery laughter. "Alright, I followed you - Red Hoodie Girl. What a sexy picture you have, who took it?" She replied shortly with a fetching smirk, eyes fixed on Maebe's twitter profile. "Don't mind the emptiness, I don't use it very often besides direct message function. As long as I am curious, I don't feel like following all the people and have my page covered with countless posts. I prefer hanging out with a certain small group, kinda introverted, I know." She shrugged carelessly. "Let's start the game, shall we? Remember if you're the seeker, send a text after you've counted to 100." She winked. Round 1 started~!Nio Love Steps:1) Roll 1d100 to determine the role, bigger number = hiding, vice versa. 2) Hider rolls first, then seeker. Hider: 1d8 (Once only unless you wanna move) Seeker: 2d8, first dice = time past; second dice = find hider if it matches with the number hider rolled 3) Until the time left reaches 0 or the hider is found, a round is ended. Maebe added the girl, and then put away her phone. She held her hand out, a little hesitant about how silly it felt, and chose rock. When she won, the silliness abated. "Guess you'll have to find me." She was at an advantage, as far as she could tell. The girl had to have been new, which meant she didn't know her way around as well as Maebe might have. So, she could have been easy on her - But she wasn't. "See you when you're giving up on finding me." Maebe quipped out, grinning before she turned to walk away.
