It's gettin' harder and harder to work on makin' the back wings due to lack of formulas, bugs, rare fish, and inks. I wonder if there is a chance that maybe they could sell the formulas agaian. And maybe put some of those inks, rare bugs and fish into the daily rewards. Or even have some put into rigs. You could also make it where we could make it so we have an option to make some of them through GoFusion. 2. This isn't set in stone yet but Alchemy may be retired in favor of GoFusion. However, please post feedback about the two features in SF. We of course don't want to make any decisions blindly as to what features you guys want. What we can do for now however, is add some of these things to Flynn's Plunder! Zero Omega Pwnder Welcome back, nice to see you all again, Admin/Staff heart The problem of caches in our inventories has become quite an issue since the introduction of Caches for gold, and 10x more so since the introduction of Heart Charms into the caches. Many people are opening bulk quantities for the charms and have no use for the caches. This results in them finding their way into Dumpster Dive as one of the few ways to rid them or letting them rot away in our inventories under several pages (Special Tab). Caches are used solely as game items, via alchemy needs or GoFusion needs. Could we get a fix that will give us the ability to bulk/stack trade, sell and list them in the MP. Could they stack like game items and under the "Game" items tab? Due to how stacking items like bugs (game items) work it would not be possible for use to convert caches into game items. Going through thousands of philosopher caches by hand takes too long. We looked at this and determined that the mass opening and subsequent mass granting could potentially crash the system. But they are all really expensive in the marketplace, and there are probably very few of them left. I can't afford to buy them, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So when are you going to add them back in the Alchemy shop? Or will you add them somewhere else like in GoFusion? We'll be releasing some in Flynn's Plunder very soon! This question deals with alchemy and achievements.
The wing mastery achievement is one of the hardest achievements on Gaia to get.
The few people that have earned this achievement have spent loads of cash, gold, and countless hours trying to save up for the formulas and quest for each component needed for each back wing formula.
But they only get 100 points for it.
Gaia, during the last Halloween event I got a couple of achievements that were 150 points each and one that was 250 points and it only took me a few hours if that to earn them.
This is not fair to the people that have spent countless hours to earn this achievement.
If anything it's more like a slap in the face really...
My question to you is...
Can you up the points on this achievement and add more titles to give these people the respect that they so desperately deserve? We can definitely update the amount of points awarded to specific achievements and add some new titles as well. If you have anything beyond the Backwings achievement to recommend I'm all ears. bluealaris Nenanah Features This question deals with alchemy and back wing formulas.Alchemy is steadily getting more popular now that caches and other components are easier to get. Everything is fine and dandy until you get to level 10. Once you get to that level you are now able to work on back wings and complete them if you dedicate enough time to it. Except there is a slight issue... The formulas are so dang hard to find it's not really worth it to go after them...To prove my point let me link you to the Marketplace listings of each formula. Not exactly user friendly...Now I'm not asking you to chunk the formulas in the Dumpster or Daily Chance or to make these formulas so common that they have absolutely no value anymore but I do feel that these items need to be a little easier to obtain. Make them more realistic but not impossible. My question is...Could you increase the odds of getting these formulas out of the Alchemist Cases, Winged Crafting Chests/Bundles, and maybe on occasion offer these formulas as singles in a cash shop sale? Maybe even putting the formulas into GoFusion would be a good idea... We could exchange tons of charms to get them. Recipes are definitely one of the last things we know we need to make more available for users in order to make Alchemy more accessible. November 24th, 2014: Zero Omega Awe Electrohop Zero Omega Awe Electrohop Question Category Misc I can't get into the Alchemy page for like 3-4 days already. All I see is a blank page. I checked with another account, it can access to it within seconds. Also my aquarium doesn't show up the fish so others can do booty grab. A large inventory might be what is preventing you from being able to access the alchemy page. Might want to see if you can shrink you inventory a bit and see what happens. Category Misc Only for alchemy items or all my inventory? Will it be an update for this in the future? Entire inventory, unfortunately.

But I'm stuck, because I can't afford to pay the very expensive/inflated prices for the required items. For example the items Royal Crown Blue, White Body Dye and Diamondback Lion are really ridiculously expensive. Only a few can afford to buy them. I bought some GC items to sell in the marketplace, but I'm not even close I still need many many many billions of gold to be able to buy just one of the items. I really wish to complete at least one Backwing formula. The Backwing formulas are just as expensive, maybe you can add them and all other rare Alchemy items (or at least some) in Daily Chance, in Towns, in GoFusion or in the Alchemy shop? We need more ways to get them, without having to spend many many many billions of gold and cash. I've heard about others trying to do their Backwing quests, but are stuck too because of the very expensive/inflated prices. So I'm not the only one, and there are many others who can't get to level 10 Alchemy because they find it confusing and very expensive. It would be much more fair if you for example removed the gold requirement to complete each formula, so many others can complete their formulas, without losing more gold. So my question is, can you make it more beginner-friendly to do Alchemy? Can you make all the Backwing items and all the rare Alchemy items affordable or at least easier to get, like in Daily Chance? I know it should be challenging because it's a Backwing quest, but challenging is always free and fun, not expensive and not impossible. It is meant to be very difficult and require mastery of many aspects of the site, including fishing, bug hunting and more. There are some elements that are confusing and difficult, and we are attempting to iron out this experience. We will be offering some Cache's with more Backwing elements in them as well as ways to obtain the recipes besides limited Cash Shop releases through Gold Shops and GoFusion. We hope this helps on your quest! bluealaris Nenanah ItemsNow we have those Philosopher Cache bundles in the shop. You can buy a ton of them, and it's very convenient for leveling up in alchemy. But we do have an issue... There are people who buy thousands of these at a time in hopes of finding certain colors of caches and charms for GoFusion. When you own thousands of these unopened caches, it's a pain to open them all. Right now we have to click through them one by one. It's very time consuming.And another issue that it causes is that by clicking though them it hogs bandwidth. Not everyone has an unlimited internet data plan, and not all ISP's carry unlimited data plans unless you're on an ancient connection like dial-up or DSL. In other words going through them one by one is creating more problems than what it's worth. It's not user friendly in the least bit. We shouldn't have to worry about blowing through our data plans by opening tons of caches. An we shouldn't have to sit at the computer for hours on end trying to open these things, we have lives offline too lol. What we need here is a simple solution. Please give us the option to open all of our unopened caches at once. Give us a button to click that give us the option to open them all. Would you please start heavily considering making opening caches more user friendly to your customers? Since they are not listed it's hard to keep up with how many items I've fused together since there isn't a counter available for us to view like there are with other listed achievements (like the posting achievements) . Also I'm doing alchemy, it would be nice to have them all listed so I know what I need to do and exactly how many achievements I have left. I know there are guides for this, but I shouldn't have to look at guides to make sure I'm not skipping achievements that are not tied into any holiday events. It only makes sense that achievements that are permanently available are listed in the available achievement space. Can you guys list them, and if you are unable can you give us a reason as of why? We'll consider it! 3nodding Narumi Misuhara Torishu Dumpster Dive SeparationThis is really just a suggestion that I've been thinking about a lot. I'm sure whoever cleans out the Philosopher's Caches on your staff has noticed how quickly the dumpster gets filled with them. I once complained about them, but I rescinded my original complaint as those people who like Alchemy on the site do use them, so I understand their value. However, when the dumpster is filled with the caches, it essentially eliminates the prospect of getting anything else whatsoever for sometimes more than a full day. So my suggestion is, maybe make a separate Alchemy-focused dump? If this is not a viable suggestion, what are you plans for handling this problem? Are you just going to continue to let other, and sometimes potentially valuable items, be constantly shadowed by the caches? This is not a criticism, more the opinion of a web-designer who is curious as to your thoughts on the potential for improvement here. From a web design standpoint I'm not sure this is an implementation problem. The design of the system was to let people trash what they want, and people can claim what has been trashed. That part is working just fine. I think the problem is more a social one of "dumping etiquette" (does that even exist?) Regardless, no changes are planned to create a sister system for separate item types.

The market’s been flooded with them since the introduction of the Zomg grab bag. The recipes could be for old inactive freebies that are used in other alchemy recipes (Like the complete double rainbow, starmony, etc.) Oh gosh it's my first ask the staff... I'm so nervous That sounds like a cool idea, but unfortunately we do not have any plans to do so. I don't see why not, we'll consider adding it in when we have our next Alchemy update. bluealaris Platonix Features - Alchemy The Dusty Old Scroll CI can grant the Level-1 formula Aspiring Alchemist, which is good since previously the only source of that formula was a grant link that only worked once per account and has since been disabled entirely, and anyone who reaches Level 10 and is granted the formula for the Crown of the Thrice Great would need 10 Aspiring Alchemists to craft it. There's a problem, though: the Aspiring Alchemist formula has Attuned Alloy and Skeleton Hide as components, and there is no source for these Game Items other than the same grant link that granted the formula. Re-releasing the formula without re-releasing its components kinda seems like a futile gesture. Oh, and speaking of this sort of thing, another drop from the Dusty Old Scroll - the formula for the Oink Beanie Hat - has exactly the same problem.
