5. Speaking of sisky, she also ran a couple of Tumblr blogs centered around avis and artwork... any chance those will ever be active again? emotion_kirakira

I am very happy to see it return as Ask the Staff. We are slowly rebuilding the communication gap between users and staff. ATA was what helped make our community felt unique in my humble opinion. I'm glad to see this feature back. I hope it continues! <3 First question - Narumi posted on Twitter months ago that the possible return to the Gaia Blog. Is there any update on this feature returning? 1. Not really, I wanted to bring this back but needed people around the office to volunteer to continue to make posts to keep it active. Sadly I wasn't able to gain enough support to make it worthwhile. However, that was a long time ago. It's worth looking at again. How do you guys feel about it? How many of you would read our blog if it was active? Would you want it in our forum version? ...or Wordpress version?

October 20th, 2014: Narumi Misuhara Scobre FeaturesWhat will Gaia do to improve and update chat and social features of the site? I think the beggest thing we'd like to do is get the Gaia chat back in, it's long overdue. In addition increasing the various games we have and making them more social via interaction with others.

Gaia blog: Hopefully I can get steered in the right direction, wanting to know who I can contact for updated information on getting a piece in the Gaia Blog about the Heart Break Cafe. It's our second year and we would love to try and get an article in about it.
Thanks! =) Go ahead and shoot me a PM! Zero Omega Yeata Zi I am one of the folks behind the Heart Break Cafe, a user-run holiday event and giveaway. (Here's last year's thread and this year's donation thread for legitimacy purposes.) I also work with Lab Tech Week, a user-run event featuring G-Corp that will be occurring in March. We have about a month and a half until HBC, and I was hoping to secure a post in the Gaia Blog to help advertize for us. Last year, I had to go the same route to contact someone to get a post for LTW. I hope you can help me get into contact with someone who will help me with this. Last year it was Sisky who I was supposed to contact, but she has been MIA on Gaia for some time. My associate, Mississippi Black Velvet, has already tried to reach out to Zero Omega to no avail. Once we get to the bottom of this, I would strongly suggest you update the methodology for applying to get into the Gaia Blog. It's a wonderful way to get participation in community projects and I would hate to see it fall by the wayside. Your How to Get Into the Gaia Blog post is widely outdated and either needs to be updated or completely removed. Anyways! Thank you for your help! Sorry about missing your PM! Go ahead and shoot me another, I'll make sure it gets taken care of. I agree we should update information on how to get your content into the Gaia Blog, so we'll make sure to get that updated for everyone.

January 12th, 2015: Narumi Misuhara Enricox Just a thoughtLike aim,msn,or any kind of messager. I like to see if there is a gaiaonline messanger that would be for smartphones as well. Just thinking for my most lazy ways to communicate with my gaiaonline friends, then walking to the computer We are currently working on a new messenger and we are keeping mobile in mind with it's design. It may not go out at the same time as the web version but at least we won't have to reinvent the wheel on it's infrastructure for mobile. smile

February 9th, 2015: Zero Omega Asexual Sex Goddess ((oh boy, another AtS)) Events:Due to it being Valentines day week and all, Narumi said there will be another community spotlight. Will it be for March 2015? Or will it start in March, when things are less busy. ((also I'd like to say that Zero's new avi is way easier on my eyes X-x)) Keep an eye out for a January 2015 recap soon! March 16th, 2015: bluealaris Asexual Sex Goddess Misc/EventsIt looks like the featured avatar thing is severely unpopular, so are you going to just do the monthly features like back in December for each featured category, instead of doing a community update that easily gets buried under the "SPEND GCASH" notices. I would love to see featured guilds, roleplays, etc. We're currently adding Featured Avatars not only to our Community Announcements but also to the Gaia Blog which we hope to update every week. We'll pass on your request to our team for featured Guilds/Roleplays/Artists.

March 23rd, 2015: bluealaris Nenanah Misc Someone has raised the issues for the diminishing number of users gaia is having, so as a suggestion why don't you create a contest where Gaian's can create a blog (FB/Tumblr/Any Social Media Site) about Gaia on other sites and give out worthwhile prizes like LQI / Exclusive Items. They can write a Gaia Guide (Since most Gaia Online Guide on Google is outdated) or they can create an art post or things about what they like on Gaia and the likes of that. Gaia is severely lacking new contents when it is searched in Google so we probably need new contents to flow out there to attract new users Question is originally by Kitsunen I agree, and I think this is a fantastic idea. We've already had fanart contests on Gaia but I would definitely like to be able to post these contests onto other sites. Thank you for the suggestion. heart

August 18th, 2015: Narumi Misuhara Yeata Zi Features Would it be possible to set up an optional alert system for the Gaia blog? Make it like staff alerts, only blog alerts? The problem is the alerts bubble is a tad bit ....full. We need to completely redesign how the alerting system displays methinks before we go adding more of them.
