Minipets fed, work finished, apartment cleaned twice over, workshop tidied, daily boilfriend harassment done, and finally tea and snacks ready to be prepared! All that was left was the guest. It helped if you invited the guest. prolixity Text to: Siddie! Text from: JunkoSiddie~! =D Are you busy today? I've owed you a fancy-dressed tea party for a really, really long time! If you'd like to come over I'm living at 1510 Tombstone Road, apartment 4! <3 Hope to see you soon! In retrospect she should have done that before getting everything ready. But hey, as long as it happened that was what mattered, right? She needed to reconnect with more of her friends outside of Seiji. She made him promise he would still socialize with others who weren't her, it wasn't right if she didn't keep the same promise. She missed her friends, they were overdue time together.

Eight to: Junko from: SiddieNot at all~! I've only got a little work left to finish, and then I'm free for the rest of the day! I'll see you very soon, then, can't wait to see your apartment! When Siddie arrived about forty minutes later, she had dressed up for a nice tea, carefully put-together but not too fussy. There were friends and girlfriends who thought you dressed nicely, and then there were friends who appreciated that sort of thing, and the latter were not to be taken for granted. She carried a small box wrapped in a cheerful black-on-purple bat-patterned paper with a little paper bow on top, and she paused for just a moment to pat down her skirts and be sure everything was in place before she rapped on the door.

Yay! Junko squealed with joy when she received her text back, and with that she hurried over to dig out whatever would suit the occasion. It wasn't a style she dressed in very often anymore but Junko loved to do it for special occasions, like tea with Siddie. She turned and spun in her mirror to make sure everything was just right. Ever ribbon and ruffle was in place, ever piece of lace free of tugs and pulls. Yes. Good. This would do just fine. She clapped her hands excitedly. She'd missed this! There came a knock at the door and Junko grinned, hurrying to it and opening it to find Siddie there. "Siddie~! Hi!" She stepped aside to let her in. It wasn't a huge apartment, but it suited Junko just fine. The front door opened into the kitchen; directly to the right was a door to a balcony, and ahead was an open doorway into another room. The living area containing a comfortable sofa, her dresser, her bed, a small fireplace, and other such furniture and decoration, as well as two more closed doors. "Come in, come in~! Make yourself at ho--oh? What's that?" When a ghoul was all black and everything she was wearing was black, a bit if color had a tendency to stand out and get attention.

"Oh, you look so nice!" Siddie stepped into the apartment, smiling at Junko. "Goodness, is that a new dress? Or have I just not seen you in that long? We've both been so busy," she lamented, and took a quick peek around the apartment. "What a lovely place you have. It looks very cozy. We're going to have to start thinking about apartments eventually, too; did you have to look hard to find it?" She handed over the little wrapped package when Junko noticed it. "Oh, it's nothing much! I just thought I'd make a little contribution." Inside the box, Junko would find a nightshade tart, crisscrossed with dough and garnished with sugared berries and a little chocolate tombstone, baked in a ceramic dish with dancing bats painted on the sides.

"So do you! You always look nice though!" She looked down at herself when Siddie commented on her attire. Junko beamed proudly. It was true, it had been some time since they'd seen each other, but really it had been some time since Junko had seen any of her friends. It was her own fault, really. But she was back now! It was time to fix all that. "It's kind of new but not really? I bought it a long, long time ago with the intention of taking it and modifying it but I never actually did any of what I planned nor did I ever wear it. So..first time wearing it!" Junko then stepped aside so Siddie could peek into the rest of the apartment. She beamed proudly. "Thank you! Umm, I looked for a couple months, and Hel finally helped me out in the end since she's more aggressive than I am and she's harder to take advantage of. Seiji and I are going to look for a house together, though, so I'll probably only be here for about another year or so more." She smiled fondly at the thought. She hadn't really looked into anything yet but she would get to it when they were ready. Maybe in a few months or something. A contribution? Junko gasped, her eyes lighting up with excitement. Ohohoh! What did she make what did she bring? She eagerly opened it up, gasping at the sight of the tart. Delicious. "Siddie! This looks so good! Thank you!" Oh, she was looking forward to this. "Did you want to look around first?" Junko asked as she carefully lifted the tart from the box. "I figured, today's a really nice day, perfect balcony lunch weather."
