“Once there was a Goddess that stood here. A Goddess that existed in this world.”
Twenty years, it was twenty years ago that the light faded from our world. It was her light that blessed the land and shielded mankind from the void. A goddess as beautiful as she was kind, it was she who stumbled upon the world and the tiny fragments of life attempting to grow. Guiding the children of old she aided them through the dark allowing mankind to flourish. Though frail each person held tremendous power, the power of tenacity. No matter the failure, no matter the setback mankind continued to strive for better perhaps it was this determination that drew her to them in the first place.
“But you don’t understand! They have so much potential do you not see it?”
"Enough of your tired philosophies."
To better commune with her people she gave them a gift an enormous glistening white tree that towered over any building, the people decided to name this gift Remnant Twilight. Bathed in its ivory light the people were able to talk and communicate with their goddess. Seeking council or guidance the people were able to grow rapidly over the generations.
“Please, give them the time they need to grow! Let me show you that they are worth more than fodder!”
"You waste your breathe."
But where there is light, there is always darkness. A patient darkness biding its time to return the Goddess’ creations to dust. But even the most brilliant of lights are doomed to fade. A corruption of unknown origins took form in the hearts of man consuming them from the inside out turning them into Outcasts, these creatures began to grow in numbers and in only a few years grew in population great enough to start their own nation. Though small in size they lay claim to incredible power. It was this power that lead their leader an enigmatic figure only known by his appearance and his nickname The Origin to strike. Attacking the very heart of Dominium in one night he appeared above the Remnant Twilight and in one swift motion obliterated it from the world. With the conduit to the goddess now silenced his minions, the Outcasts grew in greater numbers, twenty years have passed sense that fateful night, when the world lost its light.
“The barriers have been lifted, they’re all gone! There is no longer a haven where we cannot tread!”
But not all lights die so easily. The goddess, with the last of her strength in the mortal world separated herself into five fragments sealing herself within five different individuals. Bestowing in them the power to purify the corruption within people’s hearts. Some call this a gift, but others call it a death sentence.
“But I must. I must go, for my people.”
So prepare your armies, ready your swords and rally your courage. Stare defiantly into the darkness, but be warned. All is not as it seems which darkness should you fear more, the one standing in front of you? Or the one that looms overhead?

A rough somewhat vague overview yes, but you can't give away to much at the beginning can you? A somewhat dark rp, but I've never been very good at writing the typical "heroes go beat up bad guy and save world from blowing up" style of rps, not that they don't have their place I'm just not the writer for them. I'm just hoping I can get enough people interested to get this off the ground! So if you want in, or want to help me with this rp then please by all means shoot me a message or just post here!
